EU votes to drop trade block on Israeli medicines

The European parliament voted on Tuesday by a margin of 379-240 to remove controls on the sale of Israeli pharmaceuticals within the EU.

Teva is on of the Israeli companies who bless the World by excellent medical technology.

The bill, part of a wider-ranging initiative to deepen bilateral ties between the EU and Israel, has been stuck in the European Parliament for the past two years due to political objections.

The passing of the bill means that Israeli pharmaceuticals can be exported to any EU nation without delays and without requiring any additional certification.

The agreement was originally approved by the European Council in early 2010, but its implementation was delayed as a result of protests by pro-Palestinian organisations.

The decision is good news for European healthcare as well as the Israeli pharmaceutical industry. Industry estimates suggest that EU countries would save nearly 25 billion euros annually by using generic drugs such as those produced by Teva, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies and the largest producer of generic drugs.

My comment:

Selfishness is also prominent inside the parliament of the European Union.

It is easy to boycott oranges from Jewish communities on the mountains in Samaria. It is more difficult to boycott medicine, needed to save the life of our own family.

If you want to boycott Israel, go and throw your mobile phone in the river. It has components from Israel. Take also the heart starters out of the ambulances.  Without Israeli technology, most of our medical care would be ineffective.

Let us read what Jesus told Abram, the very basic of his calling:

 Genesis 12: 1-3
The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you.

“I will make you into a great nation
 and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
 and you will be a blessing.
 I will bless those who bless you,
 and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
 will be blessed through you.”

Even the most committed Hamas leader seems to be willing to compromise with a Jew, in a bid to save his own child. Secretly, the leadership in Gaza send their children into Israel, to get the best medical treatment that can be found on the face of the Earth.

Are you one of these hypocrites who defame Jews in public, but who secretly use Israeli technology.

Go and tell others the truth about all the blessings that has come out from Israel.
