Catholic Mary left behind in tomb in Jerusalem

The Catholic Church has a dogma that “Mary” ascended into Heaven in body and soul. But in the Dormition Church in Jerusalem her body is still present.

The body of Catholic Mary is still present in a crypt in a Church in Jerusalem.

The Roman Catholic Church is at best doctrinal chaos. While some Catholics believed that the miraculous and holy body of the “Mother of God” was kept in the crypt in the Dormition Church in Jerusalem, others claimed her body had ascended into Heaven. Sinless, just like her son.

Pope Pius XII sided with latter. As late as in 1950 Pius made a papal doctrine, that Catholic Mary was born without sin, lives a sinless life, was ever virgin, and ascended into Heaven in body and soul.

This new Papal dogma created a problem in Jerusalem. Because the Pope of Rome now sided with the Greek Orthodox Church, that for hundreds of years had claimed “Mary”s” empty tomb was at the foot of the Mount Of Olives, in the crypt of the Church of the Assumption.

A crypt at the foot of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem hold the empty tomb of “sinless Mary”.

The Pope rebuked the Roman Catholic who had taught that the miraculously kept holy body of the Catholic mother saint, was kept in the crypt in the Dormition Church in the Armenian Quarter in the Old city of Jerusalem.

It is simply impossible that both of these Churches tells the truth. Its more than likely that both of them lies.

Lets investigate, and take a look at the two official version, very different in deed.

First from the Greek Orthodox Church:

The Church of the Assumption at the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.

At the foot of the Mount of Olives lies the claimed tomb of the Virgin Mary; built over top is the Church of the Assumption. According to Catholic doctrine Mary was taken from here directly into heaven because she was sinless.

The empty crypt claimed to be of “The Mother of God” in an old photo.

The pictures tells the story of an empty tomb.

Inside the the Dormition Church, the crypt hold a mummified body. Here is the official story:

The rotunda of the crypt recalls the Holy Sepulcher and the resurrection of Jesus. In its center, surrounded by six pillars, lies the statue of the blessed virgin, asleep. This is where, according to christian tradition, Mary lived and died after her son’s resurrection.

In the dome above the statue, the mosaic represents Jesus Christ surrounded by six women from the Old Testament: Eve, Miriam, Yael, Judith, Ruth and Esther. The dormition of Mary is pictured in the apse. The altars around the crypt are gifts from Hungary, Austria, the Ivory Coast, the USA, Brazil and Venezuela. In the front part of the crypt, there is the chapel of the Holy Spirit, which is also the chapel of the Blessed Sacrament. It is a place for prayer and contemplation.

The tomb is an empty stone bench. On the side facing the western entrance are three holes that were cut into the stone and allow the visitors to touch the inside of the tomb.

Source for this official story:

The Dormition Church in Jerusalem.
Roman Catholics come and light candles at the body of Catholic Mary.
Fresh flowers are kept a side of the mummified body.
Catholics come a pray in front of the earthly remains of the “Mother of God”.

These two stories exposes a Church that can distribute lies without limits. The Bible says there was only one human being, that was able to live a sinless life. His name is Jesus. Both the Roman Catholic Church and the Greek Orthodox Church have based their theology on lies and falsehood.

The result of these deceptions, is that non-believers look up on “Christianity” as wickedness.  They need to know that this has nothing to do with Jesus of the Bible.  Jesus is a live, and He will judge people who spread this kind of Papal approved falsification of the gospel.

      1. well that just makes me sick.i didn’t know catholics did this.i always heard in some churchs saints are buried under the church.are they buried or laid out for every one to kiss and rub around on?.isn’t this being disgracefull to the dead.my god.bury them and let them be.how about the painting of the lady squirting milk in the saints mouth and eye.i had to chuckle.but really the kissing and fondle of bones .thats satanic.if them bones could talk.they would say.well i am being molested again and again and again.

      2. you got me curious now.what do the knights of columbus do?
is there any bone kissing are wierd stuff they have to do when they are initiated?

    1. @altonwoods

Hyslop was debunked. Only those who have some sort of vested interest in believing his lies cleave to him for support of their misconceptions.

  1. I bet Miriam’s (Mary) heart must be bleeding to see that people are worshiping her rather than her son YESHUA (Jesus).

  2. This article is very inaccurate. The “body” is a painted statue of Mary, not her mummified remains. The statue is a monument marking the place where she died. It is not a tomb, and the Abbey of the Dormition has never claimed that to be a tomb or sarcophagus.

    http://www.sacred-destinations.com/israel/jerusalem-dormition-abbey.htm

“The lower-level crypt is the traditional site of Mary’s home and death. A circular pillared hall with ambulatories, it centers on the Chapel of the Dormition with a carved-stone figure of Mary in repose (dormitio). Above, a mosaic in the dome depicts Christ receiving her soul. Among the adjacent little chapels is one donated by the Ivory Coast, with wooden figures and motifs inlaid with ivory.”

I’m sorry that there was a misunderstanding here, but you need to change a lot of your article to make it accurate.

Also I don’t want to sound mean here, but how did you mistake a statue for a mummified body?

    1. Dear Andrew.

Shalom, and welcome to this site.

Its would be interesting to know how God of the Bible judge the difference. Would people who worship a statue be allowed into heaven, and those who only pray before a mummified body be left in the flames of Hell?

      Please answer me.

      1. Hello, and Thanks,
Neither worship of a mummified body, or a statue can be justified in anyway. It is idolatry and that is a grave offense against God.

However what I posted about was not about idolatry. It was about an inaccuracy in your article.

In your article you claimed: that the Dogma of the Assumption of Mary into heaven is proven false, because her real body is in the Abbey of the Dormition but the Dogma of the Assumption claims it is in heaven.

However, the body of Mary is not in the Abby of the Dormition. The pictures you posted are of the statue in the lower level of the church marking the location of Mary’s death (Dormition).

Because her body is not in the Abbey of the Dormition, most of your article is inaccurate.

With all of that out of the way, I have a question to ask you:

How does the statue of Mary in the crypt church of the Abbey of the Dormition prove that the assumption of Mary never happened?

      2. Dear Andrew.

        Shalom.

To be very frank: It is sometimes difficult to see the difference between a corpse kept on chemicals and a sleeping Catholic statue.

I guess the Catholics feels the corpses of Popes who are kept in wax, and skeletons dressed up like nuns, also are in Heaven?

Why is Catholic Mary kept in a tomb (crypt) sleeping, if this is not her last resting place?

        You wrote:

How does the statue of Mary in the crypt church of the Abbey of the Dormition prove that the assumption of Mary never happened?

        My reply:

There is a lot of claimed “happenings” within religion, of those there is no evidence available that can prove that it never happened. Like Muhammad traveling in the air on a horse from Mecca to Jerusalem, and taken up to Heaven from the Mosque that was built many hundred years later on the Temple Mount.

      3. Yes I agree, I understand. It is hard to tell. I’m sorry if I was rude.

Once you have a good understanding of the Dormition it makes more sense. The Dormition in Eastern Orthodox belief is that Mary fell asleep for a short time and her soul went to christ.

The statue of the Sleeping Mary makes sense, its showing her dormition before she was assumed up into heaven. Its depicting a part of the death of mary, its sort of like telling a story. Especially with the dome above it that has the picture of Jesus holding Mary’s soul.

Also I understand your point, many things in religion have happened we can not disprove. But you did try to disprove it by falsely saying a statue was the body of Mary, so the assumption couldn’t of happened. I was just correcting you thats all.

I hope this helped clear up any misunderstandings.

      4. Dear Andrew.

        Shalom.

You do not have to say sorry, and you were not rude at all.

The adoration, veneration or worship of statues (or corpses, skull and bones) of created beings is sin. You are approving a religion, that makes a mockery out of the Word of God.

        Deuteronomy 4:15-17 (New International Version)

        Idolatry Forbidden

You saw no form of any kind the day the LORD spoke to you at Horeb out of the fire. Therefore watch yourselves very carefully, so that you do not become corrupt and make for yourselves an idol, an image of any shape, whether formed like a man or a woman, or like any animal on earth or any bird that flies in the air.

        (end of scripture)

It can not be said more clearly than this.

Let me also remind you of the 2nd commandments:

        Exodus 20:4-6 (New International Version)

“You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

        (end of scripture).

Even “Catholic Mary” was created. The Bible explains she was the Jewish virgin Miriam, a Torah observant Jew. She will never approve of the sins of the Vatican.

Paul the apostle is crystal clear what the Pope, the Cardinals and Bishops have done:

        Romans 1:25
They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

        (end of scripture)

Be aware of the word used in this verse: “serve”. The Pope prays to Mary, put flowers around statues of her, and claim she is a goddess, the Queen of Heaven.

  3. ivar, i am truly sorry your catechesis as a Catholic was so lacking … you will remain in my prayers for your return to the FULLNESS of TRUTH that exists ONLY in the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church of our Lord … in the mean time, please quit making such blasphemous and untrue statements about the Mother of our Lord…and about the pope… there has NEVER been a claim that she is a goddess… but she certainly is the Queen of heaven…that is unless you deny that Jesus is King of Heaven

    1. Dear Rick.

      Shalom.

      You wrote:

there has NEVER been a claim that she is a goddess

that is unless you deny that Jesus is King of Heaven.

      My reply:

Your message contradict it self. If Jesus is God, that your “Queen of Heaven” is a goddess. There is no goddess in Heaven.

Jesus is surely God. The only true God is the God of the Bible. God The Father, Son and Spirit is One God. There is nothing else to be added to this truth.

      The Pope mocks the truth.

      1. sorry ivar… your words make no sense… Jesus is indeed God… Mary, as His Mother is certainly in heaven… if you accept Jesus as King of Heaven, then Mary, again , as His Mother , necessarily is Queen… has nothing to do with godesses… unless of course you also do not believe that Mary was His Mother

      2. Rick,

With all due respect Ivar makes perfect sense. Jesus is God, and he is God The Father, Son, and Spirit. It is the truth and the Word of God says it.

Mary was a sinner like us all. The Bible says: “for ALL have sinned, and fall short of the Glory of God.” Did you get that? For ALL have sinned. It does not say all, witih the exception of Mary.

Mary is not the Queen of anything. She was human like me and you, and Catholics like to elevate her to a “goddess” status, which she is not.

      4. okay you lost me.you say jesus is god.mary gave birth to baby jesus.who did mary get pregnant by?

      5. Linda,

Have you ever read the Word of God?

So if God is the creator of all things, it would not be an impossibilty that he created his son Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, who is our King, and Savior, and comes soon.

Matthew 1:23 – “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

Isaiah 9:6 – For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

      6. @ivarfjeld

I think you glossed over Revelation 12 KJV (BibleGateway):

12 **And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars** :

        => A queen wears a crown…

2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and **the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born** .

5 **And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne** .

=> This is a reference to Psalm 2:9: **a Messianic psalm/prophecy…fulfilled in Yeshua HaMaschiah.

6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

17 **And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ** .

=> The Only Child that this woman is noted for giving birth to is the Male Child – the Son Who would rule the nations with an iron scepter. Her other children would therefore be by spiritual adoption in the economy of salvation. Since Christ fulfilled the Law perfectly, He honors both His Father & His mother – even though she is a mere creature because He fulfilled the commandment to honor His parents. “To honor” one’s parents in Hebrew means “to glorify”. In Him conformed to His likeness, we all share in His glory. How much moreso His own mother – created by Him to bring forth Our Savior & our salvation & make our spiritual adoption possible. All of this is SCRIPTURAL.

  4. gloria…does all include those aborted or lost in the womb… does all mean those that are severely retarded? not sure why you changed the subject … we were speaking of Mary being Queen of Heaven … unless you deny Mary’s place in heaven or the Kingship of Jesus, then Mary necessarily is queen…better check out the old testament for why

again..there is nothing in Catholic teaching that says Mary is a goddess and no Catholic i know considers her as such

just one more correction for you… Jesus is the 2nd Person of the Holy Trinity…3 Persons, 1 God…Jesus is NOT all 3 Persons

    1. Dear Rick.

      Shalom.

The Bibles says all men have sinned, a fallen short of the glory of God. ALL men.

The Catholic Church teach that the Bible is a pack of lies. Because the Bible expose Catholic Mary to be a liar. According to the Pope, Catholic Mary was born without sin, never sinned, never had sex, and was taken up to Heaven sinless.

If that is not a Goddess, than nothing is.

Catholic Mary is a demonic fiction, that has nothing to do with the Jewish virgin, that gave birth to the Messiah Yeshua of Nazareth.

Now you have to chose. Do you want to end up in Hell together with the Pope and His followers, or do you want eternal life?

      1. Rick,

You said: just one more correction for you
Jesus is the 2nd Person of the Holy Trinity
3 Persons, 1 God
Jesus is NOT all 3 Persons

My Comment: John 10;30: Jesus answered them, “I and the Father are One.”

And Rick Jesus Word is the complete truth, so when he said: ALL have sin and fall short of the glory of God, Yes I belive God’s Word completely.

And you speak of babies- well Jesus speaks about children to. They are born sinners also, but are not aware of their sins, until the age of accountability.

      2. @ivarfjeld

You quoted: “ The Bibles says all men have sinned, a fallen short of the glory of God. ALL men.”

Jesus being the exception being fully man & fully divine.

You also neglected to mention Enoch, of whom the Scriptures inform that he walked with God, & he was no more because God took him. If we assume that he was taken to heaven, Scripture also informs that nothing impure can enter heaven – in other words, no sinner can enter heaven…So how would Enoch enter therefore?

Adam & Eve were created without sin.

And if Elijah went to heaven in that fiery chariot, how could he enter heaven if he had sin…?

  5. To Gloria

You better check olf Testament Lass!!!! The queen in Solomon’s kingdom is his mother. The Jewish Queen is the mother of the Jewish King, not the wife. Or perhaps the mother is Queen if the King is unmarried, which is the case with Jesus, who is not Lord and God, but King of Heaven and Earth. How you a once catholic Deny such Truth!!

Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father, and he will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” (Luke 1:31-33) KJV: Jesus is from the line of Kings!!!

[6] Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. [7] Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. [8] All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad. [9] Kings’ daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir. [10] Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house; [11] So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him. (Psalm 45:6-11, KJV)

God the Son, the Second Person of the Trinity, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Holy Spirit, took flesh, being born of the Blessed Virgin Mary, one person with two natures in hypostatic union, Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man.

So is Jesus the same as the Second Person of the Trinity? Can all the propositional statements that are true of Jesus be said equally truly of the Second Person of the Trinity? If not, then how can the fullness of that divine Person dwell in Jesus?

For example, is it true to say:
The Second Person of the Trinity was circumcised on the eighth day.

The Second Person of the Trinity was obedient to Mary and Joseph.

The Second Person of the Trinity spat on the ground to make paste to heal a man’s eyes.

The Second Person of the Trinity needed Simon of Cyrene to help Him carry the weight of the Cross.

The Second Person of the Trinity died on the Cross.

The Second Person of the Trinity was buried.

The Second Person of the Trinity descended to the underworld.

All of these statements are true of Jesus in the gospels or the creed. If they cannot also be said of the Second Person, then in what way is Jesus different from the divinity that dwells in Him in His fullness?

Jesus is one person, who acts using two natures. Jesus is God. How can a divine person die?

To answer that, we have to consider what is death? Humanly speaking, death is the separation of human body and soul as a result of illness or injury.

Jesus suffered death. His human body was separated from his human soul, in death. His human body was buried.

That doesn’t mean that the Second Person of the Trinity ceased to exist. The Second Person of the Trinity continued to act, in his divine nature, as God.

The Second Person of the Trinity could only die on the cross because he assumed a human nature

    1. Jef,

I have never been a Catholic, nor will I ever be a Catholic.

The fact that the Catholics (like you) elevate Mary to a stature as Jesus Christ is wrong. Mary did not die on the cross for your sins. Mary is not God. Mary is not queen of heaven.

Mary was a sinner like you and me who accepted Jesus Christ.

But those who continue to view Mary as a Queen of anything, and continue to praise her will not see the kingdom of Heaven. God has spoken it.

Revelation 21:8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

      1. You are very misinformed. Your statements are false. If you are interested in the Truch, check the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Worshiping anything or any one other then God is forbidden by the Catholic Faith.

      2. Ignatius of Antioch,

You are completely wrong. Your Catholic faith leads you the gates of hell. I follow Jesus, and you follow the Pope, who is a sinner like us all.

What will you do when you stand before Jesus one day? What will you tell him when he states you loved idolatry more than the truth?

Exodus 20:3-6 “You shall have no other gods before me. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

GOD let you know from the very beginning, yet you chose to believe in a lie.

      3. Gloria,

You are very misinformed. Your statements are false. The actual Catholic Teachings are found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. It teaches that worshiping anything or any one other then God is forbidden by the Catholic Faith.

If you believe that The Catholic Church teaches otherwise, then give the citation from the Catechism. If not, you are simply lying!

If you would like to continue this discussion, let’s move to the following site:
http://forums.cat…..(Cencord. External links not permitted. Editor).

I’ll be happy to clear up your misunderstandings there.

      4. Ignatius,

You are living a complete lie. The pope tells people many lies, that Mary is queen of heaven, that we must kiss these dead people, idolize them to be blessed. Why do you cover for them, when they have been doing this for years?

The only way to get to heaven is through Jesus Christ. Mary isn’t going to save you, and neither is the Pope. Praying on your knees to statues, and kissing dead body parts (I actually cringe when thinking this) isn’t going to get you to heaven.

It doesn’t matter which you spin it. The people who belong to such a horrid religion (catholic) need to repent from these things, and start praising our King Only: Jesus Christ.

      5. @Gloria

You commented: “ until the age of accountability.”

Please provide the Scriptural reference for this age of accountability.

You stated: “The fact that the Catholics (like you) elevate Mary to a stature as Jesus Christ is wrong.”

I don’t believe that she is equates to Jesus, but I do believe that His power, mercy, & glory is made manifest in & through her, which just confirms Lk 1 KJV:

46And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

47And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

48For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

49For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.

50And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.

51He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

52He hath put down the mighty from theirseats, and exalted them of low degree.

53He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.

        54He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;

55As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

You commented: “Mary did not die on the cross for your sins. Mary is not God. Mary is not queen of heaven.”

She didn’t die in the cross for our sins, but she did give God her fiat to use her in accordance with His Will, thereby making Our Savior’s birth & our salvation possible.

The last verse of Revelation 11 describes the vision of the Ark of the Covenant in heaven – the Ark of the New Covenant, who is a woman as described in Rev 12 KJV. Why do Catholics consider the Blessed Virgin the Ark of the New Covenant?

Look at the original Ark of the Covenant. Although made of earthly materials, it was so holy that anyone unauthorized to look on it or touch it died instantly. It was the throne of God in earth, carrying:

        ‱ The jar of manna;

‱ The budded staff of Aaron; &…

‱ The Tablets with the 10 Commandments.

Now look at the Blessed Virgin Mary using the typology of the Ark of the Covenant. She carried in her womb Jesus Christ, Who is Lord, God the Son, the 2nd Person of the Holy Trinity, Son of God, & Son of Man, of Whom Scripture informs is:

        ‱ Our Living Bread from heaven;

‱. Our Great High Priest in the order of Melchizedek; &…

‱. The Word made flesh inaugurating the New Covenant in His Blood as the Lamb of God.

You claim that “Mary was a sinner like you and me who accepted Jesus Christ.”

The Angel Gabriel called her by a new name: the Greek name is “Kecharitomene”, meaning “endowed with grace”, “full of grace”, or “highly favored”. How would she be so full of grace since the Messiah has not yet been conceived? The Greek tense of the word implies that she was made full of grace, & this continued on into the present. If she was to bear the Messiah, thereby making her The Tabernacle of the Living God – the Word made flesh, could sin in any way be brought near Him in His dwelling place? Would He take on sinful flesh & so enter sinlessly to become one of us – or not?

You claim: “But those who continue to view Mary as a Queen of anything, and continue to praise her will not see the kingdom of Heaven. God has spoken it.”

When Christ fulfilled the Law, He honored His Father & His mother in accordance with that Law. In Hebrew “to honor” one’s parents means “to glorify” them. That goes for both parents.

You judge & condemn with Revelation 21:8 quoting: “…But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Catholics already believe this, but it’s irrelevant to the discussion at hand – unless the aim is to judge & condemn without understanding Catholic teaching except superficially misunderstanding it as taught in many Protestant circles as I had long ago. It is an act feigning moral superiority, but in the end only ends up revealing the misinformation undergirding your comments. They’re very accusatory.

Have you ever bothered to ask why Catholics believe as they do, or do you just attack & accuse based on a false understanding of their beliefs?

    2. Jef,

Your first few sentences are filled with so much hatred and arrogance, I couldn’t bear reading the rest of your comment to Gloria. The Holy Spirit does not live in you.

      Kay

  6. Have you seen your optometrist latelly? If you go to the Lincoln monument do you think that is actually Lonclon’s body? That is not the body of Mary but a monumnent, like that in the Lincoln momument.

    1. Ignatius of Antioch,

Why would I need an optometrist? I can see the lie that the Catholics believe so easily.

I do not bow down to any statue, or kiss it. ANY STATUE IS FORBIDDEN.

Spin it anyway you want, but you have been warned. Repent and leave the lies of the catholic church, and embrace JESUS ONLY.

Revelation 9:20 The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk,

      1. In Exodus 20, God commanded no images. Five chapters later, He commanded that images of cherubim (angels) be placed fashioned & placed atop the Ark of the Covenant.

Here are other Scriptural citations of images ordered by God or allowed by God:

Other references to images associated with the worship of God in the OT:

        Ex. 36: 35-38

        Nu. 21: 8-9

        1 Kings 6: 18, 23-29, 32, 34-35

        1 Kings 7: 18-20, 22, 24-26, 29, 32, 36, 42, 44, 49

        1 Kings 8: 6-8

        1 Kings 9: 1-9

        1 Chron 28: 18-19

        2 Chron 3: 5,7,10-14,16

We are being conformed to His likeness as believers united to the Vine, Who is Christ Jesus. Scripture informs that Christ is:

“ is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,

20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.” Colossians 1 NIV BibleHub

So believers are in effect being made into “little Christs”. Jesus is the image (Greek: eikon) of the invisible Father, & Jesus said that if we see Him, we have seen the Father.

Incidentally “eikon” is the same word from which is derived “icon” – the ancient Early Christian art.

From Strong’s Concordance on “image” from Colossians 1:15 (BibleHub):

“eikón: an image, i.e. lit. statue, fig. representation”

    2. Ignatius Of Antioch

      Sabbath Shalom.

      You wrote:

If you go to the Lincoln monument do you think that is actually Linclon’s body?

      My reply:

If I have to chose between you, Lincoln or the Word of God, I chose to listen to my creator.

Roman Catholic’s have been indoctrinated to confuse their children, and put curses on them. One question is:

      1. Do you not have a picture of your mother on the wall?

If the answer is: yes, the next one will be:

      2. Do you not love and respect your mother?

If the answer is still “yes”, what comes next is promotion of sin as holiness.

      3. So we need to put up a picture of the mother of Jesus on the wall, or have a statue of her on our table. She is also our mother, the mother of God, etc, etc….

The problem is that God hates such kind of messages. The Queen of Heaven is a pagan goddess. Miriam the mother of Jesus would never brake the Law, and make a mockery of the first and second commandments.

You can do it. Because the Pope has said this is permitted by him. So go on. Right into the gates of Hell.

      1. Nice way of trying to switch it Ingatius.

A picture of your mom or dad isn’t the same as you kissing dead people and elevating Mary as a queen.

        You are wrong.

        The Bible is correct.

    3. I of A:

My mother is dead. She was a devout catholic. Her last words, she expressed her faith in Jesus. She is canonization-worthy.
Now, I have a picture of my Mom on my wall. Now, let’s say I kneel down in front of her photograph and I fold my hands and begin to pray to my Mom. At what point have I gone from remembering her to praying to dead people? To even worshiping dead people? Jesus’ mother Miriam was not tour mother. Jesus never worshiped his mother, he never knelt before her – therefore neither should we. Jesus, too, promoted the praying to nor the distribution of statuettes.

Stop dividing your heart to various deities. Give your heart to Jesus alone, like the 1st Commandment, and you will know the truth.

      Kay

      1. @Kay

=> You stated the following in directing your comments to Ignatius of Antioch:

“My mother is dead.
To even worshiping dead people?”

=> Since she is a baptized follower of Christ & therefore a member of the Body of Christ, she is in the communion of saints (holy ones).

=> What did Jesus say regarding the patriarchs to the Sadducces who didn’t believe in the resurrection?

He said, quoting the Father from Exodus 3: “I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.” Matthew 22:32

=> What did He say that Abraham, who’d long since passed away, had said to the rich man in Hades (Hell) in Luke 16?

25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’

27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’

29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’

30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’

31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

=> Though physically not walking this earth any longer, he lived – awaiting the promised Messiah.

And what did Jesus else say about Abraham in Jn 8:56?

“Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.”

=> The dead in Christ LIVE. Why?

        Because He said…(Jn 11:25-26):

25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

=> Catholics take Jesus at His word when He said that even if we die, yet shall we live. Do you….?

        From Hebrews 12 KJV:

1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

=> Look at the original Greek for v.1:

        https://biblehub.com/lexicon/hebrews/12-1.htm

=> Look at the words for cloud & witnesses in the original Greek in the Lexicon & look them up in Strong’s Concordance – a Protestant Bible Study Tool: here’s what it says:

        Strong’s 3509:
nephos: a mass of clouds, a cloud
        Original Word: ÎœÎÏ†ÎżÏ‚, ÎżÏ…Ï‚, τό
        Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter
        Transliteration: nephos
        Phonetic Spelling: (nef’-os)
Definition: a mass of clouds, a cloud
Usage: a cloud; met: a dense crowd, a multitude, great company.

        Strong’s 3144.
        martus: a witness
        Original Word: ÎŒÎŹÏÏ„Ï…Ï‚, Ï…ÏÎżÏ‚, ᜁ
        Part of Speech: Noun, Masculine
        Transliteration: martus
        Phonetic Spelling: (mar’-toos)
        Definition: a witness
Usage: a witness; an eye- or ear-witness.

=> If you read further down the page, it says this:

        Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance
        martyr, witness.
Of uncertain affinity; a witness (literally (judicially) or figuratively (genitive case)); by analogy, a “martyr” — martyr, record, witness.

So under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the author of Hebrews states that we are surrounded by a crowd of martyrs/witnesses who cheer us on in our faith!

=> He further writes the following in Ch. 12:

22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

=> So it is not only to God that we come to – but also to His saints…

This is further demonstrated in Revelation 5 here:

5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

        9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

=> How did these elders in heaven get the prayers of the saints so as to offer them up as incense to God in heaven?

You further commented: “Jesus’ mother Miriam was not tour mother. Jesus never worshiped his mother, he never knelt before her – therefore neither should we. Jesus, too, promoted the praying to nor the distribution of statuettes.”

If we belong to God by spiritual adoption, & Jesus “honored” (Hebrew: “glorified” His Father & mother), then in the economy of salvation, the Blessed Virgin Mary is Our Blessed Mother – the Gebirah, the Strong Woman – as a descendent of King David, & the mother of the Messiah, Who is the King of Kings & a descendent of King David, heir to the throne of King David. It’s all Biblical & conforms to the Jewish custom of the mother of the King being the legitimate queen of Israel – except that in this case, as the Mother of Our Lord, the legitimate Queen of Heaven in accordance with Revelation 12. She is not another deity, but she is conformed to the image of Christ in accordance with Scripture, & Revelation 12 shows her glorified in heaven.

You further added: ?Stop dividing your heart to various deities. Give your heart to Jesus alone, like the 1st Commandment, and you will know the truth.”

=> There is no division to various deities where members of the communion of saints goes for they all abide in Christ & can never die because He lives. Therein lies the difference of worshipping the dead vs calling on the living members of Christ’s Body (for in Christ, they live). Believers in Christ who follow & obey Him & abide in Him are conformed to His likeness & they partake of the Divine nature in accordance with the Scriptures. That is SCRIPTURAL. THAT IS THE TRUTH.

        Something else to consider…

Jesus said the following in Jn 14:

9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

        19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

        23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

        Paul’s Suffering for the Chruch
        (2 Corinthians 11:16-33)

24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:

        25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

He is “the image” of the invisible God…

From Strong’s Concordance on Col. 1:15 on “image”:

        1504. eikĂłn â–ș
        Strong’s Concordance
eikĂłn: an image, i.e. lit. statue, fig. representation
        Original Word: ΔጰÎșώΜ, ÏŒÎœÎżÏ‚, áŒĄ
        Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine
        Transliteration: eikĂłn
        Phonetic Spelling: (i-kone’)
        Definition: an image, statue, representation
        Usage: an image, likeness, bust.

        Just some thoughts…

  7. Its true-one keeps pictures of the family because we want to remember them and we feel happy seeing them, or for whatever reason. The thing here is, the pictures show our ACTUAL family…meaning we actually know them and have seen and know how they look like. Now, Mary’s pictures/paintings/images……how can a person know exactly what she looks like…–of course we believe that there is a woman named Mary who gave birth to our Savior Jesus Christ thru the power of the Holy Spirit of God (every detail on this is found in the Bible) even if we havent actually seen her face–but the point here is comparing keeping of pictures of family or those we have known or actually seen is DIFFERENT from keeping pictures of Mary whom we dont even know what she looks like and worse, “worship” her by keeping an altar of her images/statues/painting

  8. new to this blog.excuse me for asking a horrible question about catholic religion.how in the world did she get pregnant without sex.wouldn’t that be rape.if someone forced a baby on you with some sort of powers.if that happend today to me or a family member i would be pressing charges.’freedom of speech’

    1. Linda,

Have you ever read the Word of God? You should begin there, and you will learn that Christ was born into this World to save you and me from our sins.

God is the creator of all, and so it happened, where Mary a virgin, was pregnant with Jesus. God and Jesus (both and they are one) loved us so much, that Jesus died for us, and so those who accept Christ and repent from their sins, will spend eternity with our Savior.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

      1. okay i am confused.uri gellar is known in the united states for bending spoons with his mind.’thats a force “how about the people who claim to have esp”vision”.how do you know mary wanted to be pregnant?how did she feel when she was a virgin and all of a sudden pregnant by a force.she had no choice as i can see it.not talking bad about the catholic religion.i have never understood it.but what your talking about is kind of like ET”ufo”
forcing rape on victims.sorry.again.but if a force made me pregnant i would stick a gun up my vagina and shoot.i am not being nasty.just speaking my mind.rape is rape.whether it is from a force or just a force normal human contact.you talk about being married before sex.was mary married when she got
the force?’pregnant’.sorry again.but i think she had physical contact.there is nothing wrong with catholic religion.i just don’t understand it.and i am sorry if i offended any of you.

      2. Linda,

Yes God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit are One.

Matthew 1:23 – “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is
        translated, “GOD WITH US.”

Isaiah 9:6 – For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, MIGHTY GOD, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 43:10,11 – “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord, “And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. BEFORE ME there was no God formed, Nor shall there be AFTER ME. I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no Savior.”

        GOD IS VERY CLEAR

      3. Linda please find a Jesus Christ believing church to study the Word of God. And please don’t use the word “rape” in any situation that involves Jesus. That is blasphemous.

Let’s study this verse: Matthew 1:23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “GOD WITH US.”

So God creator of all things, chose Mary to bear Jesus. Jesus died for our sins, and rose, and comes soon.

To be with Jesus eternally, once has to accept him, and repent from their sins, and follow God’s word.

    1. Ignatius,

The catholic church, and you have “itching ears,” where you twist the Word of God into your own liking. It is how the Pope and many like you, think it’s okay to praise Mary.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

You do not endure sound doctrine. No! You endure and say what you want to hear, and you are not only deceiving yourself but others to.

And the Pope who leads many into the wide gates of hell, think he is a “holy” man. When there is only ONE that was ever holy: and that is JESUS CHRIST.

Matthew 24:1-51 Jesus left the temple and was going away, when his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple. But he answered them, “You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the close of the age?” And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. …

Take your lies and deceit else where. You do not come here to ask questions, nor do you come here to learn. You come here to deceive people into thinking the catholics is the way to go.

When the only way to go is to follow JESUS CHRIST ONLY.

2 Corinthians 11:14-15 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.

      1. lies and deceit.bah hum bug .i went to a catholic fish fry one day given by the knight of columbus.a bunch of married well respectable buisness men who had good jobs.as they were drinking under there tent eating fish and laughing.they didn’t know i was standing behind the tent listening to there filthy conversations.they were talking nasty to one man that was a single man.they were talking about the womans body and using nasty words.this single man was pulled into there little koc world.i don’t think the priest was around when they were talking like this.but the priest is a knight of columbus to.i am sure the priest would of laughed also with them..why were they talking dirty to a single man..the single man was the innocent one.the other men of koc were just a bunch of men ,getting drunk, eating fish and talking filthy.i wished i would of had a tape recorder.i didn’t.but that is alright.last fish fry i went to last year.there was another woman standing outside the tent listening and watching.
thats the reason i don’t go to church .

      2. @Gloria

You stated: “ 2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.”

But since there have been heresies almost from the get-go, how do you determine the myths from the truth – especially in light of the fact that all Protestant denominations claim to follow the truth, but differ in matters of salvation & other beliefs. And these all claim the Scriptures alone for their authority. Basically you can interpret the Scriptures as you please, & I’ve seen this done on more than one occasion online. How do you account for this? Jesus is not the author of confusion, yet this is the reality of Protestantism today. How do you account for this if in fact the Holy Spirit is supposed to guide them in all truth?

    1. LInda,

Jesus said: I and the Father are One. I will try to explain one more time.

God CREATOR OF ALL chose Mary, to bear Jesus.

      Luke 1:

29 Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30 But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”

      1. gloria sorry i offended you.won’t come back on this sight again.but i will speak my mind one last time.blasphemous is for a dirty word.didn’t use a dirty word.a force would be from a alien from a ufo.whats wrong with saying that? marys pictures has a ufo painted on them.right?whats wrong with a woman saying she wouldn’t want a force to touch her?thats if you believe in ufos and aliens.i was abducted one time years ago.it wasn’t from a ufo or space aliens.it is not a pleasant feeling.never did know who my abductors were.BUT i can say this proudly.if i would of got pregnant by a stranger.i wouldn’t think twice about a abortion.i would do it.put that in your pipe and smoke it.

      2. Linda,

You did not offend me. And I have not said, you shouldn’t come back to this site. I apologize if I gave you that idea. I just think using the rape word in the same sentence as trying to find out how Jesus was born, is a bad word choice. Because one does not have anything to do with the other.

I have never seen a photo of Mary let alone Mary in a UFO. Linda, I was once asked if an alleged “alien” came up to me, and said he was that, what would I do. My reply was to rebuke Satan in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.

Satan will use every dirty trick unknown and known, to confuse and lie to people, so he could lead them away from God.

I truly believe you should find a Jesus Christ believing Bible group, where you can learn what Jesus has done for us, and how he is coming soon.

Please feel free to come back, and ask questions.

        God Bless,

        Gloria

      4. Linda,

Re: your story of Knights of Columbus & inappropriate language.

        Catholics are not believers.

Believers in Jesus Christ would never
talk like that. I concur with Gloria – find a Bible Study group that adheres to and follows the Word of God. Read the Bible and get to know Jesus alone – not via interpretations of men.

      Basic Christian Beliefs from history:

      The Nicene Creed

      I believe in one God,
      the Father almighty,
      maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
      true God from true God,
      begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
**For us men and for our salvation
      he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
      and became man** .
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
      in accordance with the Scriptures.
      He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

      The Apostles Creed

      I believe in God,
      the Father almighty,
      Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
      born of the Virgin Mary,
      suffered under Pontius Pilate,
      was crucified, died and was buried;
      he descended into hell;
      on the third day he rose again from the dead;
      he ascended into heaven,
      and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
      the holy catholic Church,
      the communion of saints,
      the forgiveness of sins,
      the resurrection of the body,
      and life everlasting. Amen.

The Virgin birth is an act of God & is a miracle. The Blessed Virgin conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit with her fiat. Just as the Holy Spirit overshadowed the Ark of the Covenant, He overshadowed the Blessed Virgin, in effect making her the Holy Tabernacle of God – Who is Jesus Christ – The Word made flesh.

  9. kay.born and raised a catholic here.i don’t go to church for my own reasons.just because i stopped going to church don’t mean that i have horns and a tail and worship the devil like you are trying to get people to believe.as for as the knights of columbus.true story.
did you noticed since i came on here.people stopped talking?thats because i have something to say.

    1. Congradulations Linda for leaveing that church ,I was raised directly oposit the front door of a catholic church ,and my family was frowned upon as we never attended ,turned out the priest was a child molester and to avoid prison comitted suicide. As for those knights of columbus ,just another gang of weak men seaking strength in numbers, the idea behind this movement was good ,but every thing always turns bad when man puts himself before GOD .Linda the Angel Gabrial apeard to Mary and explained to her that GOD wanted her to bare his son ,if you read your bible LUKE 1 26-38 it is very clear that Mary was given a choice in this ,and she chose to be the handmaiden of our LORD .Linda we humans can only understand a three diamentional world and we use little more than 10% of our brain ,scientists today beleive there are as many as 10 diamentions ! what great wisdom GOD must hold we cannot imagine ,neither are any of us able to fully understand his bible , we all interprate it differantly ,yet we all hold on to our interpretation as the correct one…I like to back up my beliefs with proof ,as if something is true then there should be evidance in suport ,and with this reasoning, I can say without any dought that the bible is a true acount of mans history …I prey that JESUS guides you in your continued search for truth …

      1. first of all .KOC are alright.i only seen and heard this one time.they were drinking, talking dirty having a good time.don’t mean they are week men.don’t mean all KOC do this.actually the KOC does alot for the community.they raise alot of money for alot of people and good cause.as for as catholics.i consider myself one whether i go to church or not. and alot of my family are catholics.whether i understand or listen
god knows were i am at and he listens.
we actually had a family member that was a priest .he evidentally didn’t like it.workes for the white house with obama .yadda. yadda.

    2. Linda,

I was also born and raised a catholic until i “got out” 2 years ago. Even then, as catholic, we were taught that Jesus was born of the virgin Mary thru the power of the Holy Spirit. So I am wonderng if you are really a catholic because of the questions you ask. 😩 As with all the other Christians here who tried to explain things to you but for one reason or another you refuse to understand and listen, I am praying to God for your enlightenment in the name of Jesus!

  10. Hi my name is Howard Green sometimes called Gad or King David or Emperor Germanicus julius caesar and the family of adam and eve during the life of Jesus Christ and also I would like the world to know that this is facts that saint peter and saint paul were executed in Rome 67 a.d. during the reign of Emeror Nero when he left rome peter encountered the ressurrected Jesus Christ. Peter was astonished and he said lord where are you going Jesus said I go to Rome to be crucified anew. Jesus in his encounter with peter was wearing a white loin cloth and a red mantle over his shoulder. So there is proof that Jesus is in Rome to build his church with saint peter and peter understood his actions was to return to rome to convert the jailers. There he was arrested and crucified upside down at his request because he did not feel to of dying as jesus had died. You have the truth and this is the year 2018 and the world nations should not be warring and killing people because jesus is watching you all over this earth. He has holy angels that work for him in heaven and he is God son in this world. Jesus he reigns and all these popes and people and kings and presidents in this world are lying and going to hell. You better take this message seriously because if you go to hell your soul will be lost and you will be with satan and his demons. Do not let white people in america deceive you like president george washington because they are going to hell some black people spanish people and some chinese people and a whole lot of minorities.

You stated: “well that just makes me sick.i didn’t know catholics did this.i always heard in some churchs saints are buried under the church.are they buried or laid out for every one to kiss and rub around on?.isn’t this being disgracefull to the dead.”

Somehow I think you’d glossed over Revelation 6 KJV (BibleGateway):

9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

So this is what is under the altar of the heavenly temple – what other church does likewise…? Could it be the very Church you’re mocking…?

  12. Just a few things not mentioned though Gloria did an excellent job! “And When eight days were accomplished for the circumcision of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb. And when the days of her (Mary’s) purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him (Jesus) to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord; (As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;)” That is in Numbers 3:13, “And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.” Luke 2:21-24. You have to go to the law of the Lord to see what the turtledoves and pigeons were for. So lets go to Lev. 12:2-8. Specifically verses 7-8. “And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or turtledove, FOR A SIN OFFERING, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest: Who shall offer it before the LORD, and make an atonement (reconciliation) for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that hath borne a male or a female. And if she be not ABLE TO BRING A LAMB, THEN SHE SHALL BRING TWO TURTLES, OR TWO YOUNG PIGIONS; THE ONE FOR THE BURNT OFFERING, AND THE OTHER FOR A SIN OFFERING: and the priest shall make an atonement or her, and she shall be clean.” The second thing I want to mention is this: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE.” John 10:27-30 Also: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit and these 3 are ONE GOD. In the case of Mary’s conception God the Holy Spirit came into Mary’s womb and God became a human being through Mary, He never ceased to be God the entire time! In Genesis in the account of creation look at this: “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness, was upon the face of the deep. And THE SPIRIT OF GOD MOVED UPON THE FACE OF THE WATERS.” Genesis 1:2 “It is the spirit that quickenith; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life: ” John 6:63
