Turkish judges approve demand for a sentence of a combined 18.000 years for former IDF chief of staff and others.
A Turkish court on Monday formally pressed charges against members of Israel’s military for the killing of nine people aboard a Turkish ship trying to break Israel’s blockade of Gaza in 2010, Turkey’s state-run news agency said.
The court in Istanbul voted unanimously to approve an indictment against Israel’s former military chief Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi, along with the former heads of its navy, air force intelligence, and military intelligence, Eliezer Marom, Amos Yadlin, and Avishai Levi, the Anadolu Agency said. They face nine consecutive life terms in prison for “inciting to kill monstrously, and by torturing,” the agency added.
It is unlikely Israeli military members will be brought before Turkey’s judicial system, since Israel does not regard them as criminals. If they are convicted in absentia at the end of the trial process, which could take months if not years, the Turkish court could issue an order for their arrest, but such a move would be symbolic and not binding.

To give you the correct parallel.
Think if Israel decided to break the Turkish navel control of Northern Cypress. And after ignoring the Turkish navy’s warning, the Israeli ship would have continued towards the shore.
And the Israeli ship was full of Jews singing old Nazis songs, of how they were going to cripple and kill all Turks.

And when the Turkish navy officers entered the Israeli ship, The naval commando’s had been attacked by Jews using knifes and rods?
This kind of scenario is so laughable, that is does not even fit into a movie.
But for the Islamic republic of Turkey, this damnable Jihadist attitude is inside the head of the Prime Minister and President. They have no shame. Not even for a single second.
Not only did Turkey attack the Israeli naval blockade of terrorist controlled Gaza. Now Ankara even sue the Israeli commanders who upheld the sovereignty of the state of Israel.
That a NATO member can be indulged in piracy at high seas is a complete disgrace for all educated and civilized human beings who lives within nations of this alliance.

What does the link you posted have anything to do with anti-Israel extremists and Turkish Jihadist who organized a flotilla to violate Israel’s naval blockade of Hamas controlled Gaza?

The flotilla organizers intend to aid and support Hamas, which is designated a terrorist organization by members of the international community, including US, Canada, Israel, the EU, Japan, and Jordan. Hamas’ founding document calls for the murder of Jews, the “obliteration” of Israel, and Israel’s replacement with an Islamist theocracy.
3. The flotilla organizers are trying to provoke violent confrontations. If they sincerely were concerned about humanitarian aid for Gazans, they would deliver it though official Israeli entry points.
4. Gazans are not facing a humanitarian emergency.
5. Hamas, not Israel, has caused the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza.
6. Flotilla organizers claim to be “nonviolent” but are in reality member of extremist organization that support terrorist ground dedicated to the destruction of Israel.

It’s amazing to me what comes out of some these messianic groups. I guess that’s why I’m not apart of them. I post other peoples writings and I’m willing to look at other sides of the equation. Your comments here are in response to articles Ivar wrote. However, in a passive aggressive, cryptic way, you post other people’s opinions as a way to hide behind your own hatred of Israel and your desire to annihilate the Jewish people. Obviously, you don’t have the ability to look at the situation with the flotilla and discern any truth. It’s not a matter of “two Jews three opinions” as you stated. If you call yourself a “Jew” yet support terrorism against the Jewish state — you are nothing but an enemy of Israel and just like the criminals on the flotilla, your passport should be revoked and if at any time in the future you try to enter Israel, immediate deportation and jail time should be your fate.
