Israel seems to have agreed to release 1.000 brutal Islamic terrorists in exchange for kidnapped solider Gilad Shalit.
Israel and Hamas have reached a prisoner exchange deal that will secure the release of abducted Israel Defense Forces soldier Gilad Shalit, officials at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said on Tuesday.
Officials in the Prime Minister’s Office said that “a brief window of opportunity has been opened that would possibly lead to Gilad Shalit’s homecoming,” adding: “The window appeared following fears that collapsing Mideast regimes and the rise of extremist forces would make Gilad Shalit’s return impossible.”

My comment:
It is impossible to be against the release of Gilad Shalit. One Jewish soldiers is more valuable than 1.000 brutal people who cripple and murder in the name of “allah”.
All who believe in Jesus must rejoice in the release of Gilad Shalit, rejoicing with a family who get their son home.
For the Jewish people, one missing soldier is one to many. The Jewish nation send its best men and women to fight for the very survival of the state of Israel. All Israeli soldiers and their families must never be doubtful, if the nation will do whatever it takes to protect them.
The troublesome part of the exchange, is that these 1.000 brutal Muslims will not stop crippling and killing Jewish civilian’s. Israel is at war. Many Jewish families might have to mourn over their lost relatives, who will be slaughtered by the men who will be released to get one kidnapped soldier home.

I have always remembered Gilad Shalit in my following daily morning prayers for a long time. May the L-ord bring him home soon.

This is another islamic contradiction, they claim one muslim is worth more than a million jews but here they are wanting 1000 muslims in exchange for one single jew, they are admitting one jew is worth 1000 muslims, how amazing, one jewish man is worth a thousand muslims and they cant see what they are doing!

From a Jewish perspective, you can justify the struggle to get Gilad Shalit home. And for the IDF, this will give the soldiers more trust in their officers and government. But for Hamas, this kind of logic does not exist. They are more concerned about their next kidnappers, and that kidnapping must pay off. So in one way, its a win win situation.
I just wonder if Gilad will be alive when the exchange happens.
