Occultist became Templar knight after saying the Rosary

‘If you seek salvation, promulgate the rosary. This is Mary’s own promise.’

The mummified corpse of a Templar Knight is kept in a Church in Italy.

There was the words he heard. Occultist Bartolo Longo from Pompeii was about to commit suicide.

Than into His ears came the words of Friar Alberto.

The occultist turned Templar Knight of the Roman Catholic Church, is kept for display in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary in Pompeii.

It is not easy to understand why the corpse of this Templar Knight has been kept on display under the altar with his shoes on.
It looks like the skeleton has been dressed with a black pant also.

This is what is recorded on a Catholic website, about this Templar Knights.

One evening, as he walked near-chapel at Pompeii, Bartolo had a profound mystical experience. He wrote:

“As I pondered over my condition, I experienced a deep sense of despair and almost committed suicide. Then I heard an echo in my ear of the voice of Friar Alberto repeating the words of the Blessed Virgin Mary: ‘If you seek salvation, promulgate the rosary. This is Mary’s own promise.’ These words illumined my soul. I went on my knees. ‘If it is true… I will not leave this valley until I have propagated your rosary.’”

To prove his new-found commitment to Christ and His Church Bartolo even attended a séance. In the midst of it, he stood and raised a medal of the Blessed Virgin Mother and cried out: “I renounce spiritism because it is nothing but a maze of error and falsehood.”

On March 25 1871, as part of his self-imposed penance, Longo became a Third Order Dominican, taking the name Brother Rosario in honour of the rosary. He joined a charitable group in Pompeii and worked alongside Countess Mariana di Fusco, a wealthy local widow whom he married a year later on Pope Leo XIII’s recommendation.

The late Pope John Paul II paid a “pastoral visit” to the site of the corpse of the Templar Knight.

This Roman Catholic Church in Pompeii, is placed in the “Marian city”, claimed the late Pope John Paul II.

The Basilica of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary in Pompeii.

The context of Pompeii, the ancient Roman city buried under the ashes of Vesuvius in the year 79 A.D., highlights this timeliness in a special way. Those ruins speak. They ask the crucial question about man’s destiny. They witness to a great culture yet, in addition to enlightened responses, they also disclose disturbing interrogatives. The Marian City was born from the heart of these questions, presenting the risen Christ as the response, the “Gospel” that saves.

My comment:

The emblem of the Vatican blessed Templar knights

To say the Roman Catholic Rosary is not going to save anyone.

Believing in and obeying Jesus the Messiah, is the only way a man can be saved.

That the Catholic Church keeps corpses for display is disgusting.

I wounder if this Templar Knight came up from the grave with his black shoes on, or if some grave looters put them on afterwards?

 Matthew 23:27
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean.

Regardless of when the shoes was put onto this skeleton, this kind of religious activity makes a mockery out of the teachings of Jesus. Another proof that the Roman Catholic Church is a death cult.

  1. You have a profound mis-understanding of the Catholic faith. Isn’t anybody who is laid to rest, dressed in their best clothing? Respect for the dead and burying the dead are one of the corporal works of mercy. There are many other examples of renowned Christians being displayed like this. In no way is this disgusting, in fact, with regards to the incorruptibles like Saint Bernadette (search google) it is a celebration. It clearly shows to the human senses that we do not need to fear death, it has been conquered. It is a sign from God of the promise of Jesus (yes, some people still need signs) that those those who believe in him will inherit eternal life.

    1. Well, first of all, the mantle in which Bl. was laid to rest is NOT of the Kinghts Templar, but of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre, the papal order of knighthood established circa 1099, whole 19-20 years before the Templars. If the author of this blog cared for the truth, this is all easy to check (though things like that should be known to a self-proclaimed expert): “Deus lo vult” (‘God Wills It’) in the picture above is the motto of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, not the Templars, whose motto was “Non nobis Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam,” that is “Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy Name give glory.” And don’t even get me started on the rest of the blasphemes here. It is always an easy test to discern the origin of anything that is being propagated when one finds blasphemies against Our Lady, as God Himself said: “Because you have done this, cursed are you…. I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel” (Gen 3:14-15). May Bl. Bartolo Longo and Virgin Mary Untier of Knots intercede for the people behind this blog to convert and stop propagating misinformation.

  2. The Vatican should establish a Catholic Knighthood under different names for every country in the world. These knighthoods would secret orders of fighting knights whom sworn to secrecy to protect the Church and their Priests and Nuns (refer to http://theorthodoxchurch.info/blog/news/2013/12/jihad-on-christian-nuns-a-history/ and http://theorthodoxchurch.info/blog/news/2013/10/devastating-images-report-from-the-christian-town-of-sadad-in-syria-exclusive/ ) this will soon start happening in European Catholic Churches. Lets not argue about misunderstanding the faith lets pray “The Saint Micheal Prayer” for the restoration of the Faith, the Church, the Vatican’s Power, the Christian Holy Sites, All Our Christian Brethren being persecuted by The Islamic Hoarde. And restoration of Leonine Prayers and Saint George National Holidays in England. Finally, let the truth be known for it is the way to set the world free…. the way of the Christian Saints and Jesus.

  3. I THINK THE MESSAGE HERE IS THE CATHOLIC CHURCH SUPPORTS THOSE KNIGHTS WILLING TO FIGHT FOR THE FAITH. BECAUSE SO MANY ARE… Trashing Christian Churches. This is an “abomination” and “unconscionable” to do against Christians especially since all of the American Marines and Soldiers fighting Al Qaeda in North Africa, Iraq, Kosovo, Bosnia, and Afghanistan have been Christian. And these Extremist Muslims don’t realize the wrath which will soon be upon them for the disrespect of Christian Churches and Holy Relics. Soon the USMC will be upon them… not Assad…
Please read these web sites. http://www.ourcatholicprayers.com/the-saint-michael-prayer.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prayer_to_Saint_Michael “The Leonine Prayers and the Saint Michael prayer for the liberation of Christians from the world wide Islamic tyranny will end this everywhere.
Please take a close look at the history of these prays. They were first invoked for the Vatican then to liberate Russian Christians and now must be invoked to stop the Christian Genocide, Islamic inspired War Crimes, abominations, execution of priest & nuns, extermination of Believers of Non-Islamic Abrahamic faiths.”
“Pope Leo XIII wrote the Saint Michael prayer, printed below, in 1884, after supposedly seeing a frightening vision: evil spirits, trying to fulfill Satan’s boast to destroy our Lord’s Church within a century, were engaging in fierce attacks against it. Although the Pontiff also saw St. Michael casting Satan (also known as the devil) and his demons back into Hell in his vision, he was so horrified by what he had seen he felt compelled to help defend our faith in this struggle. In the Saint Michael prayer he throws down the gauntlet to “the father of lies” as Jesus calls the devil in John’s Gospel (8:44), by enlisting the help of a very special Archangel:”

    “Saint Michael the Archangel,
    defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and
    snares of the devil.
    May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host,
by the Divine Power of God,
cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits”

    1. Anon, it is very important to confront the misunderstandings of the Catholic faith. How can we restore it, if we don’t defend it? Here is a person who truly believes that Catholics are not real Christians and I suspect the belief that the Pope is the Anti-Christ and all the other nonsense that goes along with it. Because of misunderstanding the faith, scripture and what the early church and church fathers believed. Now I know this person may be a Messianic Jew, but alot of the sentiments in this article come from protestantism. The best example of this is the writings of the early fathers with regards to the real prescence of Christ in the Eucharist, demoted to merely symbolic in the reformation, heresy. John 6:55 onwards shows the Lord talking about his body and blood and people deserted him, he turns to the apostles and asks them will you leave too. Then we have Peters response. It is clear in the Bible, yet they reject this clear teaching, they protest. Christ instituted a Sacramental Church. All these conspiracies against the Church are born from the in built anti-catholicism within Protestantism. The Lord himself prayed that we would be one (John 17:21), yet we are not. Martin Luther even had a strong devotion to the Blessed Virgin. See link

I cannot allow someone to spread falsehood and gossip about the faith, especially when the website says that it is exposing fake and falsehood. I certainly agree about restoring the faith and the St Michael Prayer at Mass. I say it myself everyday. I call on any protestant (and in this case, messianic jews) to check out the testimony and writings of people such as Scott Hahn and Marcus Grodi. Former protestant ministers and theologians, who through their honest and sincere study of scripture and the guidance of the Holy Spirit came to understand the correct interpretation of scripture through the light of the Magisterium of the Church, given to it by its founder, Our Lord Jesus Christ. There’s only one God, there’s only one Church, There’s only one name under heaven by which we are saved, and there’s only one interpretation of scripture. We can’t all be right, but I will leave the door open to being wrong, but like St Augustine, I would not believe in the authority of the scriptures were it not for the Catholic Church. The pillar and foundation of the truth is the Church (1 Tim 3:15).

  4. Ivarfield, thanks for the pictures and narrative – which were informative.

There are quite a number of assumptions that have been made about the beliefs and practices of the Catholic (the word means “universal”) church. Among them is the misconception that the Catholics are somehow misguided in their devotion to Mary, the Mother of God. The scripture is clear on this point – she was hand picked by God the Father as the mother of Jesus, his son “in whom I am well pleased (from the Gospel of Matthew.)” Her role extended beyond the role of the womb, to motherhood and later as a founder of His church here on earth with Peter, one of the 12. It was clear to God the Father than His son would require the special parenting capabilities that this unique woman possessed. All scriptural. The prayers of the rosary which involve Mary are intercessional – asking for her help and her intercession with God on our behalf.

The need to be “right” is a human need. In reality, no human knows all of the details that surround Jesus time on earth. The Catholic faith is built on the backs of the original apostles and teachings that have withstood the tests of many. Among our beliefs, we can be assured that Mary held the influence of her son, our Lord, as any amazing mother does today. Indicative of that in the scriptures is the Wedding at Cana in which she ordered him to turn water into wine to keep the party going. Her vow that God’s will be done was not a small commitment, nor did she take it lightly.

The Catholic church is founded on faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, our Redeemer. We are Christians first. Our Catholicism provides additional shape to our faith, with the benefit of time tested beliefs that are fully documented as the Catechism. All are welcome. Please don’t attempt to diminish our faith in the name of your need to be “right”.

    God bless.
