Prime Minister Netanyahu, speaking via satellite. John Hagee preached about “The Torah being the way”, and everyone was happy.
Over 5000 Christians, mainly Evangelicals, gathered this week at the Convention Center in Washington for the annual conference of the organization CUFI, Christians United For Israel.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the Christian Zionist conference via satellite, telling them:
“When you support Israel, you don’t have to choose between your interests and your values; you get both”.
News commentator Glenn Beck worked the audience into a frenzy, decrying the historical persecution of Jews, insisting that Israel cannot cede control over territories it controls, and calling upon the conference attendees to declare that they, too, are Jewish.
“Jews have been chased out of every corner of this planet,” said Beck. “Enough is enough.”
Beck said that new states can be established, but not at the expense of other states, and that Israel is historically the “land of the Jews’, implying that Israel should not relinquish control over the West Bank in order to create a State of Palestine.
The conference attendees learned that Pastor John Hagee, the founder of CUFI, would be joining Beck for his planned rally in Jerusalem in August.
Hagee told the audience, many of whom were waving both Israeli and American flags, “We gathered here with one message: Israel today, Israel tomorrow, and Israel forever.” He added, “President Obama is no friend of Israel”.
“The truth is not what you think that it is – it’s what the Bible says”, Hagee proclaimed. “There are two ways to live your life – the Torah way and the wrong way.”
“If the US Administration forces Israel to divide Jerusalem – God will turn his back to the United States of America. The G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is watching America,” Hagee continued. “Mister President, go tell Russia and the Chinese what to do.”
“Iran will soon become nuclear. Our President is waiting for Iran to extend a friendly hand, and it’s not going to happen,” Hagee added. “Mister Ahmadinejad, don’t threaten Israel. What you do to the Jewish people, history proves, will be done to you.”

As a Christian Zionist, I have voiced my concern that many of my brothers and sisters sees no need to evangelize the Jews. Like if their salvation is secured by their great support for Zionism. Salvation is not a matter of being a pro-Zionist or a not-Zionist Jew.
This is a trap.
How would a Jew like the Apostle Peter, have reacted at the message to Jews given at this convention in Washington?
If you do not tell the Jews about salvation in Yeshua only, you are not a lover of the Jewish people. Peter the Jewish apostle would not missed a single opportunity, to tell his Jewish brethren about the cross and the blood of Jesus the Messiah.

Gloria I disagree about your comments about John Hagee. I dont find him dangerous or his doctrine. I was at the Christians United for Israel conference two years ago in Denver where he spoke. I’m also reading Can America Survive 10 prophetic signs we are the terminal generation by John Hagee. I have yet to find anything wrong with his doctrine or any thing that would label him dangerous?
However Ivar is right. The night was dedicated to putting Israel and the Jews on a Pedastool. Nothing was mentioned about John 14:6 or even trying to evangelize towards them. This needs to be the main focus.

I do not disagree with a lot of the messages from John Hagee. I share His concern about Islam, and the global political attacks on the state of Israel.
My point is that an Apostle to the Jews, like John Hagee claims he is, must share the gospel with the Jews. He must not be scared of telling Benjamin Netanyahu about Heaven and Hell, and explain that all who have not been washed by the Blood of Jesus, will be separated from the Kingdom of Heaven. Either they agree with the gospel or not.
John Hagee also have come clean on the topic of the Vatican. When the Roman Catholic Church in the US put pressure on Him, and said sorry for calling the Papacy the seat of the whore of Babylon.
Any news on this issues will be welcomed.
Richard, as someone who keeps an eye on Hagee, I can say for certain that he is a heretic and a dangerous man. He believes in dual-covenant theology and has advocated starting wars that he believes will hasten the second coming.
Whilst I appreciate his support for Israel, his particular form of Christian Zionism is not something that I wish to be associated with.
In response to your question about how to reach Jewish people, I believe that this is best done by Jewish believers in Jesus who are living Jewish lifestyles and see themselves as part of the Jewish community. It’s the approach advocated by Mark Kinzer in his book “Postmissionary Messianic Judaism”. It’s rather controversial and many find it difficult to accept, but I don’t know of any other way that doesn’t have major problems (of theology or practice) associated with it.

I do not disagree with you. But as a Messianic believer, not being Jewish, I have seen Messianic Jews not being able to get their not Messianic Jewish brethren’s attention. I have also seen not Jewish believers in Yeshua having a deep impact on Jewish youth, simply by their love and support for the Jewish people from the outside.
That a Jew love a Jew, or support Israel, is not a big thing for an Israeli. But a goyim being a stronger supporter of Israel, and a greater lover of Jews than many other Jews, is astonishing for many Israeli’s. The presence of the Holy Spirit is the only force that can save anyone. Also a Jew. As Paul explains: Love never fails….!!!!

I have given warnings to readers about both of these men on this site. I heard Pastor Hagee speak at a conference recently and he spoke nothing of Christ crucified, only support for Israel.
The Jews present did not have to hear about Jesus who attoned for their sin. Hagee will not be bold and speak Christ crucified to a jewish audience. I have seen through my fingers about the Word of God doctrines, taught by John Hagee. Simply because He has been such a solid supporter of Israel.
I have been more than worried, over Christian Zionist leaders removing the name of Jesus, in gatherings with Jews. They only speak about “god”. This is the End time religion emerging, where a great compromise will bring religious people together in unity. Those who believe in Jesus, and do give the gospel to others, can not approve this movement to be a part true Messianic Christianity.
I once heard John Hagee say that “poverty is a curse”. Cursing the poor with this line, is also to bring down curses on your own head.

There was a time when I didn’t believe, that Jesus was the jewish Messiah.
This can be said for almost every jew, and might I add, this is true of many of your now, christian brethren, as well.

And so all Israel will be saved.
This jewish unbeliever has likely been chose for this position for other reasons, and who knows, this could make a believer out of him. You have no way of knowing how many other Jews will see this union of Jew and Gentile working together, doing ‘good works’ and have their hearts softened toward the gospel. Moreover; ‘good works’ are very inportant to Jews. This is something that they wll take notice of. How could you say such a thing about Pastor Hagee? He is obviously standing behind God’s people. I am sure they know that he is a believer in Jesus Christ and he has witnessed to them, but even if they do not accept Jesus as the Messiah, they are STILL God’s people and we should bless them. God will judge Israel, not us. Pastor Hagee is only saying that the Torah, which is practically the old testament of the bible, is the Holy word of God. The only issue with the Torah is that it is not complete without Jesus. It is not John Hagees’ job to save the Jews but to love them.

Deuteronomy 29:4 explains for all time why, for the most part, Jews cannot see Yeshua as Messiah….they are partially hardened as a people, as Paul describes in Romans 11. The day will come when they will see Him as Messiah, and will “look on Him whom the pierced” per Zechariah 12, and their veil will be lifted.
Then they will receive a new heart of flesh, be given eyes to see and ears to hear, so they will be His people, and He will be their God, as described in Ezekiel 36.

Hagee categorizes the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people as ‘controversial’ – not wrong. Hence, he incites genocide. Jesus is not a social activists for Arabs. Neither for Jews. He came to fulfill the promises given by His Father to the patriarchs. Like Jewish King David. Jesus will return, not to liberate the “Palestinians”, but to sit at the throne of David in Jerusalem, and judge all wickedness, sin and idolatry. Only those who have been washed by the Lamb of God, will escape being sent to hell, where they basically deserve to be sent.
This is the ultimate gospel of love. The rescue mission of Jesus, who saves all who are willing to obey Him, and make Him Master in their life.

The heart of Christ’s message is love. I categorically disagree with any Christian who would argue that ‘Jesus is not a social activist for Arabs.’ Racism is a loathsome form of wickedness and sin.

If the only love you can find in your heart for people in the Holy Land is for Jews only, one should note well that some Palestinians are probably remnants of the original Jews that historically never left.
There are Palestinians who are Christian who cry out for the love and support and assistance of their Christian brothers and sisters. They are suffering under the yoke of oppression and occupation.
Last, beware the man or woman who would smile and speak softly, calls himself or herself a Christian leader of the flock, while advocating the destruction of anyone, for anyone, for any reason. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it.

1. There was no “Palestinians” before 1964. Only Arabs. From 1948 to 1967 Egyptian Arabs controlled Gaza. The Jordanian Arabs occupied East Jerusalem, and the Syrian Arabs occupied the Golan.
2. The “Palestinian” people is a political invention, made for the sole purpose of destroying the only Jewish state there is. The PLO is not a freedom struggle movement, but an Islamic terrorist organization. From the day it was formed in 1964, up to this day.

Sometimes it seems as though there is a double blindness going on. We have jews who think that they have no need of Yeshua, and christians that think that the Torah was nailed to the cross, and so now they can ignore the law of Moses, and the Feast Days, including the Sabbath. They think that they can continue celebrating their pagan holidays, and they will be safe. When the jews worshiped as the pagans did, HaShem scattered them. Now christians wrongly think that because they lay claim to Yeshua’s Name, that they can continue their pagan practices. And that GOd will give them a wink and a nod, and embrace their pagan worship.
There is nothing in the New Testament that changed the Torah. Yeshua, Himself said; that not a jot or tittle would pass from the Torah untill all was fulfilled. One of the most chilling portions of scripture is Matthew 7:21-23.

Might I suggest that you read the scriptures before you attempt to interpret them. Yeshua’s mission was NOT to bring ‘all trogether in our common humanity’. His mission was to fulfill the Torah, to come as the Lamb of GOd, as a substiutionary sacrifice for sin. To the Jew first, and then to the Greek. And HE came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. His message wasn’t LOVE. His message was, and still is; that we are all sinners,in need of a Savior. If you think that He came to bring us together, read Matthew 10:34-36, I’ll share a few words from this portion of scripture, Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. The land of Israel belongs to the GOd of Israel. And He gives it to whom ever He chooses, and He chose to give it to the Jews.
As to the Palestinians, there is no such thing. An ethnic group of people called Palestinians was a lie made up by that Homo, Arafat, who by the way, was Egyptian. The people that now occupy Israel’s land, that they erroniously call Palistine, have a homeland, it’s called Jorden. Have you ever asked yourself why; with all of the Arab lands available through out the middle east, why have NONE of them opened their doors to their ‘Palestinian’ brethern.

I can’t speak for all churches, but I can say, MOST of the churches that I have attended are dead. If you have never worshiped at a Messianic Synagogue, then make it a point to attend one.
