A Saudi man mounted a prayers platform at the Grand Mosque in Islam’s holiest shrine in the Gulf kingdom and told thousands of worshippers that he was a prophet and their saviour before he was seized by police.
The 36-year-old man, identified as Sami, waited until the Muslims finished their evening prayers at the Grand Mosque in the western town of Makkah, mounted the podium and delivered his brief, fiery speech. “I am Al Mehdi Al Montathar…I am a prophet sent (by God) to save and guide you,” he told the packed hall before was overpowered by police.
‘Okaz’ newspaper said the incident took place on Friday night and that Sami insisted during police interrogation that he was a prophet. It said police would subject him to medical examination to check if he is suffering from mental illness.It was the latest in a series of incidents involving persons claiming to be Al-Mehdi Al-Montathar (the Chosen Imam Al-Mehdi) at Islamic holy sites in Makkah over the past few months.

The Holy Word of God has always warned us about false prophets, and how their lies will deceive many. They lie with slick and ease, their goal to create obstacles and confusion.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Those false prophets who claim to be god, and do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ and how He is the only one that saves is of the devil. Do not believe in them. Believe in God’s Word completely…believe in Jesus.
2 John 1:7
For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist.
The end time is near, and with Jesus Christ right at the door, many such as these will continue to try and deceive.
Luke 21:8
He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them.
Jesus Christ has warned us beforehand. Listen to our King only. The kingdom of heaven is near.

Ok. So the Muslims have a false prophet, there is no and should be no connection to people who call themselves Christian and who are visibly a false prophet. Study the word and forget about a co-mingling of Christianity and islam.
Who is co-mingling?
Jesus said in Matthew 7:15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
He told us this for a reason, so we would not be deceived. This does not mean we co-mingle with deceivers, but that we let other people know that there are many wolves in sheeps clothing.

What’s propheticaly intrigueing is that muslim prophecy and biblicial prophecy coalesce at the end of days.
For instance, the rider on the white horse, who went out conquering, in Revelation 6, we call the antichrist; the identify this same rider as their Mahdi.
The muslims are expecting Jesus to return, but their Jesus comes to say that he is really a muslim and that he is not the son of GOd, and that he was never crucified. It’s interesting that Jesus says in Mathew 24:24-25, “For false Christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to decieve, if possible, even the elect.” “Therefore, if they say to you, LOOK, HE IS OUT IN THE DESERT, DO NOT GO OUT.” Mecca is in the desert. Mecca is surrounded by 7 mountains, Mecca is a city, and if it were on fire and burnning you could see it from the ocean. Revelation 17:3 “So he carried me away in the Sprit into the WILDERNESS (desert) ,and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of the names of blasphemy,”
People often say that this city is Rome. Rome is not in the desert, it sits on 7 hills, not mountains, and if you look at all of the nations that GOd destroys, today they are all muslim.
I believe the the revived caiphate will be the beast and that Islam is the woman riding ridding the beast. I can’t be certain just yet, but we will know for sure very soon.
Whether the it turns out that Islam is the woman riding the beast or not Denise, we must always adhere to the Word of God and look to Jesus completely. For those that do deny Jesus Christ, do not come from Jesus, but from the devil himself.

Well, nobody would really be deceived by a person like this guy pretending to be “Al Mahdi”, and we as christians are already in the know that Islam as a whole is one of many ways the enemy has deceived mankind. At least, i hope we are in that know.
Now, what we as christians really should have our eyes on is those who, from within christianity are acting wolwes in sheep´s clothes, they are many, some rather obvious, and some not that easily spotted.
This is a REAL issue fror us, much more than one or another islamic moron standing up in Mecca. Even the islamic state´s police wanted to examine him from a mental health angle…
I believe the coming Mahdi will be the antichrist, however, I also believe that the followers of Yeshua will be able to recognize him, based on scripture alone. Rev:13:13,14, “He preforms GREAT SIGNS, so that he even makes FIRE COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN ON THE EARTH IN THE SIGHT OF MEN,” 14: “And HE DECEIVES those who dwell on the earth BY THOSE SIGNS which HE WAS GRANTED to do in the sight of the BEAST, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image TO the beast who was wonded by the sword and lived.”
There is another example nof GOd allowing fire to be called down from heaven in the sight of men. The prophet Elijah, in 1Kings. Those who do not know the word of GOd could be easily deceived by such a powerful demonstration. The real Mahdi will be recognizable, as will the real Jesus.
The real Jesus is definitely recongnizable.
The anti-christ will deceive many, but those who adhere to the Word of God, and follow Jesus–through our King will know to decipher the truth from the lie.
