“Generation Oslo” wants to capture the land of Israel for Muhammad

Syrians provoked the Israeli army to open fire at the Golan. “Palestinian mob” attacked Northern Jerusalem checkpoint.

"Arab Palestinians" do not want peace, nor democracy. They want to make Israel another Muslim nation. This is Sundays violence in Northern Jerusalem.

Roughly 250 Palestinians demonstrated at the Kalandia Checkpoint in northern Jerusalem on Sunday afternoon.

The march’s original goal was to reach Al Aqsa Mosque in the Old City. “We invited everyone to come here with spirits high… to check and see whether people are allowed to go to Jerusalem to pray,” said Amra, a 24-year-old resident of Ramallah who works in marketing.

That was the Naksa Day, the English date of the 1967 Six Day War which Palestinians refer to as “Al-Naksa” or “the setback.”

The demonstrators tried to cross into Israel by foot at the checkpoint around noon, and threw rocks, Molotov cocktails, and burning tires at the army and border police forces.

After the attempt to cross Kalandia, the demonstrators were pushed back about half a kilometer on the Jerusalem-Ramallah highway by soldiers using tear gas and shock grenades.

“We are Generation Oslo, we’re sick of negotiations,” said Zaid, 20-year-old Ramallah resident demonstrating at the Kalandia checkpoint on Sunday afternoon, amidst burning tires and heavy tear gas. “This is direct confrontation. We don’t sit at tables.”

My comment:

The riots in Northern Jerusalem were not felt in the Old City of Jerusalem. But sitting in the Muslim quarter having a coke, I saw plenty of Israeli Arabs following the events on the Golan on the Arabian TV-station Al Jazeera.

There was tensions in the air. The friendly tourist atmosphere was gone.

In one Arab hair dressing saloon, they all watched TV. Over the heads of the Arabs, was a wall clock formed as the state of Israel. But the land had no Zionist flag. The clock was named “Palestine”, and the whole area of Israel was filled with the PLO-flag.

Something is in the air in Jerusalem, and it is not about peace.

Psalm 122:6
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure.
