My bad. At the time I was replying I was trying to remember the verse. I did not have it in front of me. Thanks for the reply and correction. Having said that. Because John said it was the last hour, and that many antichrist have come, the implication the way I see it is that the antichrist was already present. The fact that it was the last hour implies that his comming(the antichrist)
is very near. I always ask what was it the last hour of. The fact that he narrows the time of something down to the last hour implies that something is very soon to take place. I do not believe that their is only 1 actual hour left but something is soon to take place. What was about to happen.
This makes sense. Obama just announced today that he wants Israel to go back to the Pre-1967 borders. I was looking at a map, and that seems to include East Jerusalem.

I believe the world will be so incapacitated and chaotic right after the rapture, that it will take some time to recover. I believe the sudden destruction in 1Thess. 5:3 will be caused by the three trumps of God’s voice and the sudden evacuation of the body of Christ. If you notice in Rev. 11:13, a great earthquake happens after the post tribulation rapture of Moses, Elijah and tribulation saints. Even greater earthquakes (with accompanying tsunamis), as well as other catastrophic events should occur around the world at the rapture. Just as the rapture will be sudden, so will the destruction. All of this should occur “when they shall say peace and safety”.

These words were written to the 7 churches of John’s time. Time and time again the angel told John to tell those people the time was “SOON”. None of those people saw the 21st century. Did the angel say to John tell the people in 2000 years I am coming? Is 2000 years soon? Did John deliver the message of coming SOON to the people of his time. Since this was God’s Words would John have been instructed to lie to the people of the time by indicating the time was SOON? If those people of that time did not see those promises of God come to pass was this all a lie?
