If you were to put aside religion and look at the genetic and ethnic profile of the peoples of the region, that would be more accurate. Of course Judaism was born there. But you have to admit that the ancestors of the Palestinians were there also and would have been there even before the Jewish religion was born. After all when Abraham came to the land, there were people there already, right? If you are going to defend all of the European Jews to come and live in the Middle East, then you should also support the Native peoples of North America and Australia to reclaim their land. The Christian church has accepted its place in the World today and I think the Jews should find such a place for themselves and stop thinking that they are better than every other human being on this planet, the 3rd rock from the Sun in this solar system within the Milky Way which is only one of a billion or so galaxies in this one of many Universes. Why Y’shua, and not only “Jesus”?
There is no “J” in the Hebrew language. So Miriam, the mother of Yeshua, could simply not have uttered the word “Jesus”. The Messiah is the author of all languages. Among Hindus who comes to faith in the God of Israel, they call Him “Yesu Mesi”. Its the same Messiah, but in different cultures that utter His name differently.
Yeshua means “salvation” in Hebrew. For the converted Hindus, “Yesu Mesi” He is the savior of the World. The only God that saves, who became flesh and died on a cross in Jerusalem for the sins of the World.
we are not saved by putting our faith in a subject (salvation), we are saved by putting our faith in our Saviour and calling on His name which is Jesus (a peson), why do you call Jesus yeshua which means salvation, why dont you call Him yasha which means saviour, we are saved by a saviour not by salvation, and there is no other name by which we must be saved and the name of our Saviour is the Lord Jesus.

We have had debates many times on this site, in regards to the name of the Messiah. He shall be called by many many names, but is the same person. The “J” only movement that excludes the “Y” can not have Hebrew roots. Since there is no “J” in the Hebrew language.
The Bibles explain to us that the Messiah can ALSO be called Jesus. And I do call up on the Messiah, using this English pronounceable name:
Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Firstly, I would like to inform you that I do not beleive in God, any God.
In regards to ‘AP’s’ post, I can’t stand that crap. People’s choice of religious belief is there own and we should be tolerant of them. I have friends that are Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Catholic and even Buhddist. I would not say that I am knowledgable in them, but I have experience in some.
Now, to the reason I am writing to you.
It is stated in most religions that a non-believer (such as myself) is destined for Hell/Purgatory due to the fact that I do not believe in HIM, or worship at his house (Church, Synagogue,Temple). I have never harmed a person in my life, nor have I stolen from anyone or business.
Therefore am I to understand that if a priest molests a child, they will be allowed in to Heaven because they are a representative of God. Will a member of the KKK, who may harm or kill a person not of their race be allowed in to Heaven if they visit these places of worship? Will a suicide bomber reach paradise after they have blown up 100 innocent people, women and children included?
The reason I ask, is because it seems a contradiction to what is taught or percieved of peace loving religions.
In my opinion, religion has reached its expiry date and now seems to be the major cause of most conflicts on this planet.
Apart from the old addage ” My God is better than your God”, why do you hate each other so much?
Do the Catholics, Christians, Jews, Baptists not all believe that there is a God?

From all the religious teachers I have had throughout my life the one constant rule is that without worshipping God in his holy house, I will certainly be cast out. I have come to live with this rule.
Yet my question to you and every God fearing person out there, is why am I excluded from Heaven, whilst someone who hurts the innocent but prays however many times will reach Heaven/Paradise?

No one here is judging anyone. But as a Christian and a believer in Jesus Christ, we are called to tell about how Jesus saved us, and we are called to speak about heaven and hell. How can one who knows about the Word, can just sit there and not state the live Christ has for us?

No one is excluded from heaven. You have free will just like the rest of us, to decide for yourself what you believe in. You only exclude yourself of eternal life if you reject Jesus.
Why only accept 67 years or however long people are living these days when you can live forever?
Those that have hurt others have the same choice. Jesus’s love is the greatest love of all. He knows we make mistakes and he knows we all sin. But even for those that have done wrong, if they ask for forgiveness, and serve Jesus, they too can be forgiven.
Its hard for mankind to understand this love, and even harder to understand when you have been deceived by hypocrites that claim they are of any religion. Just because someone is a representative to god in your eyes or in the eyes of the public, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true.
A man can deceive and become a priest and lead his congregation down the wrong path. As such so could a criminal become a priest or whatever representative of god as you see it, and molest a child. It’s also possible that someone that had strong faith in God, was tempted by sin and lost this faith some where along the way.
As far as hatred for each others religions, that is usually taught some where that one religion isn’t of god like christians saying muslims are satanic or not of god, where muslims may hate christians because they believe that jesus was not a prophet and that it’s blasphemy saying that he was the son of god. Or Christians seeing that jews don’t believe that the son of god has ever returned. Whatever religion they tend to teach about why other religions are wrong. What they need to emphasize on is God.

I completely agree with you. Religion is the worst thing that has happened to the earth since the giant meteor (or other thing) that wiped out the dinosaurs. Everyone should realize that if it wasn’t for religion, millions more people would be alive today and we would probably be exploring the galaxy if it wasn’t for the Chrisian-cause Dark Ages. We were set back so far in those hundreds of years, and it has probably ruined humanity forever. If we don’t drop religion soon, we (as a species) will end up destroying ourselves.

Allright, what I wanted to say actually is that I was wondering if you have ever heard of the name William Marrion Branham, a man who started the great revivals in America in the 50′s and 60′s.
It is worth studying his sermons, which from hundreds of sites from different countries can be downloaded for free. Note that he is being considered a false prophet by the majority… but as I have studied it, I couldn’t really find that he is false… This is very interesting because he always pointed to the Bible as highest authority and Jesus Christ which is the Word of God made flesh, never pointed to himself.
It is interesting and I believe absolutely true what he says about Rome, the antichrist, the false church systems, etc.. etc… and what if he was a true major prophet and we don’t listen to what is brought for our help, do we not short to ourselves…?!
What is even more interesting is that church organisations that come very close to 100% truth miss this to me, one of the major prophets that the earth ever had… Sure I am aware of the warning in the Bible for false prophets, but does that mean that not a true one can exist?

When Yeshua read in the Synagogue every Sabbath He read from the Torah. The Re-Newed Covenant (New Testament – another bad translation) was not around till the end of the 1st century. So we can no longer lean on yesteryear’s theologians. We must, each and everyone of us, study to show ourselves approved. Seek Him thru an understanding of the language and culture in which the Scriptures were written and He will reveal Himself to you.
Regarding the anti-messiah there is another whose name/title add up to six/six/six in Hebrew and English. He had a bigger than life statue made of himself proclaiming “Savior of the World”. It will most likely be erected on the Temple Mount in 3 1/2 years considering this is Israel’s 62nd Anniversary this year. The Bible says he gains power directly from the Wormwood-caused global chaos and famine (Rev 6-8), a power void from America’s destruction (Rev 14, 17-18), through miracles to convince everyone he is God (Rev 13, 2The 2:4), and his armies defeating those who defeated America (Dan 11:44; Rev 9) to establish peace, safety and prosperity during the length of his reign (Mt 24:37-39). The Pope does not fit this.
I pray that even the elect are not fooled by what the adversary is getting ready to do.

I’m writing from Kenya, East Africa, a land I love with all my heart and thank God for everything. I’m saved, by the blood of Jesus the Christ. I have been following closely your blog and I have bookmarked it so that I can always catch up on your latest posts and comments from believers and haters alike. I came to know Christ on a personal basis and I wept alone in my home when I let Him in! Since that time, 2 months ago, I see His love everyday and the Bible, a book I had read before without getting anything just came to life, confirming John 14:26. As many false teachers and prophets keep messing up the word of God and unbelievers laugh at the good news, most people don’t know who to believe, because they are looking to human teachers. But I have a testimony that 1 John 2:27, puts so clearly that with the Holy Spirit you really don’t need teachers. I feel peace and I wish I had made the commitment early enough.
I come from a country with 42 tribes, each with their own language and culture. Yet in most of them the bible has been translated and there is no controversy on the Greek word for Jesus or the Hebrew one. We have a name for God in each of the 42 languages, I can tell you it has never been a problem. At the end of the day,Christ is real in the life of those who believe in truth. Paul warned Timothy (1 Timothy 6:20-21) to avoid engaging in stupid talk that sounds real smart but isn’t. I pray to God that you continue with the work you are doing. Thanks for being on guard (Mathew 24:42) and keeping watch of the times. Everything will happen as the scriptures say, as God asserts in Isaiah 55:11, every word spoken by the Almighty will accomplish all it was sent to do before returning to Him. I have a question,I don’t understand denominationalism(hope there is a term like that!).I grew up in the Presbyterian Church of East Africa and have gone to so many churches from other denominations I can’t remember them all, except catholic church. Here in Kenya there seem to be no clarity in the issue and different protestant churches welcome ministers and evangelists to speak in their churches without bias. Please elaborate on the issue of denomination. I’m young in these matters and I would appreciate. Thanks
I have attended a Pentecostal Christian Church my entire life, and by “entire life” I mean since I was a baby. I do know that the church I attend speaks of Our King Jesus Christ and how he died for our sins, rose, and is coming soon, and teaches from the new and old testament.
As to other denominations, in this day and age Benleem there are so many false ones as Jesus says in Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.”
The Lord tell us in 2 Corinthians 11:4 For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.”
If it isn’t in God’s Word Benleem, or if they take God’s word and twist it to suit their needs, then we must all pray to Christ and do not listen to those who make a mockery of God’s Word.

I had come to trust him and what he preaches, through watching his crusades and services right from the fifties to the recent past. However, his friendship with people of different religions (even with Masonic adherents)and his stand on abortion, Jews,some of His teaching, New World Order, etc, has been deeply criticized.

For the bible in Titus 4:4 says that “Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. (see also 2 Chronicles 19:2; Psalm 15:4; 31:6. But he has led so many people to know Christ and transform there lives. Thus my confusion.

For this alone, Benny is a false teacher, and the Bible tells us to 1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
How do we test these spirits? Through prayer and the Word of God. So since God never once said Adam could fly, nor did God ever state Adam was a “super being” then Benny Hinn needs to repent from his lies.
Now don’t get me wrong Benleem. There are many people out there who believe in Jesus Christ and preach the truth about salvation. And All Glory goes to Christ always, and that is why we must learn the Word of God, so we can learn to tell who are the true believers, and who are the false teachers.

Most of the false teachers, might preach 98 per cent correct. If not, no Christian would ever listen to them. The problem lies in the remaining 2 per cent.
There are many ways to lead a Christian astray. One very common way, is to make a Christian a “lover of money:. TV Preachers like Benny Hinn preach that “god” is an ATM Machine who gives you 30,50 or 100 times returns on money you put into his bank account.
This is pure and blunt religious fraud, in the name of “Jesus”. It leads you into a focus on the return on the cash, rather than the gift you just gave. It makes you self-centered, an very envious and jealous when the return does not surface as promised by the false preacher.
He will put you into condemnation, hinting that something is wrong with your faith. The Preacher gets off the hock, and do never have to return the cash he lifted from your pocket.
Please be careful.
Read the Word of God, and obey the instructions. Do the will of the Father. Than you are safe. If I teach something that is not in line with the Word of God, please correct me. Do never give any man the final authority in matters of faith. The final authority is the scriptures. Always.

Gloria I couldn’t believe my eyes when I read about Benny Hinn in this blog. Ivar said it so well that what they say is 98% true, but the 2% is all they are about.
As a young believer I am searching for the right people to listen, those who can make you grow. When I listened to Joel Osteen I was motivated, in the manner of Dale Carnegie but was left empty more than ever. When I tuned to some programs on TBN, some would leave me so uplifted, such as Charles Stanley, James Merritt,e.t.c, while others left me really confused, such as Benny Hinn, Murdock and Bishop Eddy Long whom I came to learn was gay while researching for a story online.
I came to realize that there is a very thin line between a false teacher and a real one and Ivar just confirmed it. I have been following the timeless Bible teachings of Pastor Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel for he seems to be the only one who is interested in teaching the word of God as it is. Imagine I listen to what he taught in 1978 yet you might think he just taught it today!
I celebrate all those who teach new believers for there are wolves waiting to pounce on them. They need very special care otherwise they can easily revert to sinful ways even without realizing it.
While there are very few teachers, pastors and evangelists to trust today, I can read the word of God with confidence, for the Holy Spirit makes it clear. I end up saying to myself, “wow!I did know that, and that!” Before I got saved I had read the New Testament from Mathew to Revelation and never understood anything. But today I go through the Epistles and I grasp so much, as John confirmed in 1 John 2:27, that the anointing we received from the Holy Spirit is enough and we don’t need anyone to teach us.
The Holy One will always show us whom to trust and the one to avoid, we only need to pray and ask God to do it and with the test of false teachers and prophets in 1 John 4:1-6, we can never go wrong. Thanks Gloria.

Shalom, I am a little confused. The Jews do not believe in Jesus yet you appear to be Jewish and you believe in Jesus. I used to be a Christain and I now believe that the Jews are right.
Are we all switching religions? Since the Jews do not believe in Jesus that means they also believe that someone made up the New Testament. After a great deal of research it is my opinion that the NT was written my the Romans under Constantines rule.
I could be one of only a handfull of Gentiles that believe that the Jews are right. If we are ever going to be in Harmony we all have to do what I have done and accept that the Jews are right. They have been right all along. Both the Christains and the Muslims have been tinkering with the Word of God.
I do believe that Jesus was a real man but he was not the prophet. He is not Yeshua.
Another point I found in my research is that the Jewish name Yeshua does not translate into the name Jesus in any language.
However I do see Yeshua as a jumbled word. If I unjumble the name Yeshua I get: “Hey USA”
What that means is the Messiah or the Savior is the “United States of America”. One man can not save a Nation, let alone himself on the cross, however a Nation can save a Nation.
Another point about the prophesy of Yeshua in the OT, The USA did not exist when the Old Testament was written. This is one piece of proof that the OT is the word of G-d.
The great Schism. I have even more pieces to the puzzle and they all fit. I can put it all back together. I know where all of the pieces fit.

I am now a born again Christian for 10 plus Years and just had to add some things to this site. First is we could most certainly use more site’s like it as time is short and we obviously have many who are at best unfamilar with the promises of God. Second is that I would like to see more reference to Scriptur in your answers to these folk as a means to introduce them to the word which is so dear to us. Third is to lift you up as guided by the spirit who has led me to you, possible for this reason. not sure! Just know that there are many souls which are unsavable “not that you shouldn’t try”
but I beg you to not become dishartened. You have spoken the correct words to let all Christians know that you are a true follower!
Last, I have to say that the bible states that a transgressor of one law is guilty of transgression of all laws. This means that all of Gods laws carry the same penalty and there is only ONE who has been given the power to relieve us from that penalty “Second Death” which we all owe as transgressors “sinners” and that is a choice only we can initiate through our acceptance of God’s saccrifice via the blood of Jesus Christ. I believe the hardening of hearts is soon to begin if it hasn’t yet. Let those with Understanding have an ear!

I don’t believe we can own the land as human beings. If anything the land owns us, we are a part of it, and it a part of us. I would say the same thing about the Jews and Palestinians and every other race on this planet. Any of us who claim to own it or have right to more than anyone else to anything is diluted. It is a gift that we can be a part of the beautiful earth. It is a gift we can be surrounded by other people and connect with them. Conflict with each other is the wrongdoing in this picture. You have a very interesting and informative site. However, God is not a real estate agent, It is the Creator of the Universe, and beyond. It is not an anthropological ‘form’, and It does not possess human personality traits or wrath, vengeance etc. which are implied in The Old Testament. It does not favour any race of being, human or otherwise. All and any war or killing or suffering that is imposed in It’s name is not Holy. The immense suffering that is caused by fighting over land, or ‘in God’s name’, is the antithesis of all that is sacred.
