Bible Lesson # 10: Word of Faith teachers: We are like gods. Bible: Man is a saved sinner.

Word of Faith teachers does not only promote the health and wealth «gospel of prosperity». They also claim that followers of Jesus are gods.

 

A handful of Word of Faith teachers that comes into your house through Christian TV or web-TV.

Many Word Of Faith teachers have sought to emphasize the full significance of the believer’s status as sons of God through the redemption by the blood of Jesus the Messiah.

The Word of Faith teachers are using phrases such as «little gods» to describe Christians. Kenneth Hagin wrote that God «made us in the same class of being that he is himself».

And that the believer is «called Christ» because «that’s who we are, we’re «Christ». According to Hagin, by being «born again», the believer becomes «as much an incarnation as Jesus of Nazareth».

Creflo Dollar teachers them same as the serpent in the garden of Eden

Kenneth Copeland says Adam was «not a little like God … not almost like God» and has told believers that «You don’t have a God in you. You are one»

Based primarily on the book of Psalms 82:6, which says «I have said, Ye are gods and all of you, children of the Most High».

This was also corroborated by Jesus making reference to this scripture in John 10:34. A common theme in Word of Faith preaching is that God created man as «an exact duplication of God’s kind».

But quoting Psalm 82:6 without also quoting Psalm 82:7, is twisting and and making a mockery out of the scripture:

Psalm 82:7

«But you will die like mere men; you will fall like every other ruler».

Man was surely created in the image of God, and lived in a perfect place in the Garden of Eden. But that was before the fall. We will also end up in our perfect Heavenly bodies, but not in this present age.

Suffer the Children, a documentary highlighting some of the teachings of the Word of Faith movement, has a video clip of Creflo Dollar teaching the «little gods» doctrine to his congregation based on the notion that “everything reproduces after its own kind.

Dollar: “If horses get together, they produce what?”
Congregation: “Horses!”
Dollar: “If dogs get together, they produce what?”
Congregation: “Dogs!”
Dollar: “If cats get together, they produce what?”
Congregation: “Cats!”
Dollar: “So if the Godhead says ‘Let us make man in our image’, and everything produces after its own kind, then they produce what?”
Congregation: “Gods!”
Dollar: “Gods. Little “g” gods. You’re not human. Only human part of you is this flesh you’re wearing.”

The Bible says this is the teaching of the serpent of the Garden of Eden.

Genesis 3: 1-4:

«Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?»

«The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die».

«You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil».

A snake bites the face of a man. Just like the serpent in the garden, Benny Hinn and Creflo Dollar comes to you with a copy-cat Jesus.

Jesus him self exposes men like Kenneth Copland and Creflo Dollar as false teachers.

John 2:23-25

«Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many people saw the miraculous signs he was doing and believed in his name. But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all men. He did not need man’s testimony about man, for he knew what was in a man».

While Copeland and Dollar are false teachers, the true teacher and Apostle Paul explain to us his status even after being saved by Jesus from Nazareth:

Romans 7: 23:

«What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God, through Jesus Christ our Lord».

God never sin. Our Father in Heaven never makes mistakes. Jesus never sinned. But man keeps on making mistakes, even after we are justified and sanctified by the blood of the lam.

James 4:17
Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins.

One of the purposes of God the Holy Spirit is to convince us about sin, and the fear of God will keep us from sinning. But if you think you can become a «little god» on Earth, you have no fear of God, and have become a fool and a hypocritical liar.

Supporters of men like Kenneth Copland and Creflo Dollar: Get out!

If not repented for, On the day of Judgment they and their followers will burn in the everlasting fire.

Benny Hinn: “Jesus did not save anyone. Only Holy Spirit can save”

You should listen to this audio clip, and shudder over the “gospel according to Benny”.

Benny Hinn follows a "Jesus" that could not save anyone.

 

This is a record of a gnostic gospel, a audio-tape with recordings from God.tv. It is Benny Hinn who spoke these words on the first day of the present Mission week on the TV-channel.

I have made a transcript of the audio-tape. Please read carefully.

These are the words of Benny Hinn:

Jesus can not stand in front of a crowed and say: Once i was lost, but now I am found.

He can never say that (Rorry)

He (Jesus) can not be a witness of His own blood.

He can not look at the cross and say, look at me, and what the blood Has done for me.

He can not be a witness of his own blood, of what the blood have done for him.  The blood was not shed for Him. The blood was shed for you.

He can not be a witness of His own power.

There is no record of anyone getting saved before the cross.

He (Jesus) talks about salvation being offered later.

None of them were saved when Jesus walked the Earth.  Nobody felt His presence either. Nobody. He preached to the whole crowed, and nobody said, I felt God’s presence. Except those who touched Him.

Nobody got convicted by sin, when Jesus preached the gospel on the Earth. But after, the Holy Ghost came.

3.000 were convicted, later 5.000 convicted. Why? Because the Holy Spirit came to the Earth, to convict the people of sin.

Jesus did not see anyone saved when He walked the Earth. Ho spoke about it, but nobody came and said He had saved them.

The blood was not yet shed.

It was not possible (Rorry).

It was not possible (Benny Hinn).

We can do more today, than what was done in 3,5 years.

Then the day of pentecost came, and only that brought salvation to the multitudes.

Yes (Rorry).

What Peter began, we are about to close.

It began with Peter and the Apostles, and it is going to finish with Rorry and Wendy and a whole lot of us.

Lets not blow it.

It started great. Lets finish greater.  If we blow this one, we will be judge severely.

My comment:

Do not let this man touch your forhead, and do not seak his anotintig.

None of what Benny Hinn explains to us is recorded in the Bible. This man “Jesus” seems to be a great prophet, but can not save.

Hinn rejects Jesus of Nazareth as savior. He deny the saving power of the blood shed on the cross.

Hinn speaks about a separate salvation only available from the day of Pentecost.

That salvation was not available before the day of Pentecost is a different gospel, preached by a man that is walking in a different spirit, and obviously present a different “Jesus”.

This gnostic gospel recorded by Benny, is a gnostic gospel. It is a fiction, taught by a man who have been educated by an unclean spirit.

Benny Hinn walks in the spirit of anti-Christ, rejecting the humanity of Jesus, that God has come to Earth in flesh.

Benny Hinn’s gospel:

“Jesus can not stand in front of a crowed and say: Once i was lost, but now I am found”.

The Bible explains the radical opposite:

Hebrews 5:7
During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.

Even on the cross, Jesus of Nazareth cried out to His Father in Heaven.

God-Tv. spread this non sense of Benny Hinn out to TV-viewers all over planet Earth. Millions of people in more than 150 nations are being deceived, and lead astray.

It is a great tragedy.

Benny Hinn and his USD 600 cost to his own lying brand of “salvation”

Benny Hinn will return to Trinidad, to preach his LIES at a cost of $600 per person.

AMERICAN televangelist Pastor Benny Hinn, one of the few people to ever meet Juliana Pena, the spiritual adviser of former prime minister Patrick Manning, is returning to Trinidad for a three-day “Fire Conference”. And this time, it will cost believers USD 600 for the three-day conference at Miracle Ministries in Chaguanas.

The conference is scheduled to begin on February 17. Hinn, on his first visit, predicted Manning, then opposition leader, would become the country’s next prime minister. He also said he cast out more devils in Trinidad than he had done in a long time, attracting criticism from several religious groups.

In 2006, during his second visit in May, Hinn met Pena.

“Years ago, I was in Trinidad… This man was sitting on the platform and I said…you will be the next prime minister and he is till now. I was in his (Manning) office a few months ago…he brought with him a very foolish woman who called herself a ‘prophetess’,” Hinn said.

“He came to the room with this woman and said, ‘I have a gift for you.’ So he looked at me, said, ‘This is the woman; she has a word for you…’ I was not happy and when I am not happy, people will know it. He (Manning) said, ‘I want her to pray for you and give her the word; I take her with me everywhere,’ he said (Manning).

“‘God speaks to me through her. She has been a great blessing to the Government. I’m thinking, ‘You foolish man’. This woman reaches out to touch me and I grab her hand in mid air. ‘Don’t touch me,’ I said.

“Shaken, I said, ‘Mr Prime Minister, I honour you but I don’t know who this woman is… nobody will lay hands on me,’ and I walked out of the room. Whether it is the prime minister or president, nobody lays hands on me. I don’t know what spirit is in her. Don’t let people touch you.”

My Comment:

Let’s begin with Benny Hinn and his USD 600 3 day conference. Hinn definitely falls under the “peddle the gospel for money.” He captivates his audience with deceit, and the twisting of the Holy Word of God to suit his greedy need. At a cost of USD 600, you risk not only being lied to, but being robbed of your hard earned money. Hinn is an imposter, a fake, who refuses to repent, and continues to spin his lies for dollar signs.

2 Timothy 3:13

While evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

Juliana Pena, who is the ”spiritual advisor” to Prime Minister Patrick Manning of Trinidad,  claims to have healed a woman from being demon possessed. Combine a false prophet like Hinn, and a woman who claims she is a “spiritual advisor”, but in reality is from a witch-like cult, and you have a recipe for what the Holy Word of God calls “unspirtual/demonic.”

James 3:15

Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.

It is Only in the Name of Jesus Christ that you can cast out demons, for even they know who Christ is and tremble.

Mark 16:16-18

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

People in reality, Christ’s gift of salvation is free. You don’t need to pay even a cent for it. All you have to do is repent from your sins, and accept that Christ died for them, and resurrected. It’s simple, easy, and is eternal.

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

The Angels needs permission from Benny Hinn to preach his gospel

This must be one of the super revelations Paul spoke about, by so-called “Super Apostles”.

The problem is that the “gospel according to Benny” completely contradicts the Bible.

There are 291 examples in the Bible where Angels are mentioned. They were sent by Father God. They came on a holy mission, and most of them had permission to speak and brought messages from Heaven.

It was an Angels that came to the Jewish virgin and brought good news to her.

In the “Gospel according to Benny”, non of these Angels were qualified.

Here Benny Hinn again becomes a servant of Lucifer. Because if he could, Lucifer would not have permitted the Angels of the Bible to do anything.

Lucifer has his own dark angles, that preaches a “different Gospel”, and tries to fool us to follow a “different Jesus”.

Paul the Jewish Apostle warned us in advance, about this kind of  “Jesus” that Benny Hinn seems to be following.

2 Corinthians 11:4
For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.

Revelation 22:6
The angel said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”

And if you do not mind, only two more verses, in regards to Angles who had permission to preach:

Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people.

This is an amazing message.

A Holy Spirit that is separated from the Father, is not the Holy Spirit. Because the Holy Spirit and Father God is One God. Always united, never separated.

There was a dark spirit that was kicked out of Heaven. And surely that claimed to be “Holy Spirit” has been separated from Father God for the last 2.000 years.

Lets replace the word “Holy Spirit” with the word “Lucifer” in the message from Benny Hinn. That lets see if the message fit the gospel. Let the word “kingdom” be replaced with “Kingdom of Hell”.

Now: This is what the God.tv conversation would look like:

The Vatican do not want to be supported by Word of Faith teacher Benny Hinn.

Benny Hinn on a miracle crusaide in India

The Roman Catholic Church is not supported by many Evangelical Pastors. Benny Hinn is en exception. And as a bizarre contradiction of the truth: While Benny Hinn claims he support the Vatican, the Papal system claims they have no records of him doing so.

Not so strange. Benny Hinn banked on nobody would cross check his claimed support of the Vatican Patrons of the Arts and the Vatican Museums.

Benny Hinn’s original written statement, dated July 24, was followed up with verbal statements during a July 30 crusade in Oakland, California. The telecast was aired August 5 on Hinn’s This Is Your Day! program, and aired again on August 13

A Patron of the Arts means you support the Vatican so they can maintain all the work of Michelangelo. I’m one of the guys now that supports what they do. And that is a fact. I was there, and we were taken around by a man named Wilhelm Kramer [or Cramer]. And they asked me, literally they said, “Do you know people that can help us financially?” I said, “Alright.”

Now here’s where I made my mistake: I let her [Paula White] come with me to Rome, so she can donate money. That was stupid on my part. And for that I do ask forgiveness. But that was an innocent mistake, nothing to do with stupid stuff.

A US Magazine exposes Benny Hinn and Paula White in Rome.

To recap, during the crusade, Benny Hinn told his partners he was invited to the Vatican in Rome, Italy, that he agreed to financially support the Patron of the Arts program,and that he was made a Patron of the Arts.

Hinn also said that he let Paula White come with him to Rome, “so she can donate money.”

However, there is another side to Hinn’s and White’s statements.

Mark Haydu is a Catholic priest and the International Coordinator/Director of The Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums, located in Rome, Italy. Along with The Patrons of the Arts membership, Haydu maintains that ”Our sole interest is to assist the Holy Father [Pope] in his desire to preserve, promote and protect the wonderful and historic treasures found in the Vatican Museums“

With Benny Hinn’s and Paula White’s statements in mind, Christian Research Service wrote the following letter to Mark Haydu and two staff members within the Patrons of the Arts program:

In his reply on August 11, Mark Haydu stated that,

To my knowledge, Paula White or Benny Hinn were not invited to the Vatican Museums in any official context, nor did we find anyone on our donors database of Patrons under those names. [Original on file with CRS]

Haydu went on to say that because the Vatican employs thousands of people, he isn’t aware of everyone who is invited to the Vatican. “I am just aware of the Patrons of the Arts and the Vatican Museums,” he stated.

Closing comments:

Based on the information above, it appears that Benny Hinn and Paula White have, once again, deceived their followers. If those who follow the modern-day false teachers would develop an inquiring mind–the type that demands the truth–perhaps they would know that Hinn and White cannot be trusted.

Do not let kindness and truth leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart (Proverbs 3:3).

Benny Hinn caught in adultery and web of lies in Rome

I was in Rome for official talks in the Vatican, claims Benny Hinn. Caught on camera walking hand in hand with prosperity teacher Paula White.

Benny Hinn and Paula White, hand in hand in Rome, claiming to have official work in the Vatican.

Television preachers Benny Hinn and Paula White have rejected reports in the press last week suggesting that they are romantically involved.

The two Faith Healers and prosperity teachers were caught by a Papparatzi, and the photo published in the American gossip magazine The National Enquirer.

The magazine showed pictures of the televangelists entering and leaving a hotel in Rome holding hands. They deny any wrongdoing during their visit to Italy, saying that they had been there for ministry duties and were never alone.

Paula White has more than Muscle power.

Paula White said:
“We were never alone and were in the constant company of staff and other associates … My relationship with Pastor Benny is genuine and pure and should not be taken out of context.”

In February, Hinn’s wife filed for divorce after 30 years of marriage. White split from her husband Randy in 2007.

MSNBC.com reports that both Hinn and White said they were in Italy to meet with Vatican officials, traveling independently for respective ministry duties.

The Norwegian Christian Daily Dagen, did not buy Hinn’s claim of a Vatican appointment at face value. A journalist called up the Vatican secretariat, to cross cheque if Hinn had had meet with Vatican officials.

Federico Lombardi

Priest Federico Lombardi is the official spokesman for the Vatican.  He denies that Hinn had any official appointments in the Vatican last week. But Lombardi confirms that Hinn var invited to the Vatican in 2008.

Benny Hinn was first visited the Vatican in 1989, when he had a personal meeting with Pope John Paul II.

” Some of the visitors wanted to sit on the first row at a Papal audience. Hinn was one of them. They were considering to donate funds to the restoration of a large orgel” explains Lombardi.

The American gossip magazine reports that it is not known if Hinn ever gave a donation to this restoration.

But Lombardi do confirm that the Vatican has knowledge of the work of Benny Hinn ministry, and that any kind of cooperation is out of the question.

If you are not aware that Hinn operates in the occult realms and serve the principalities of darkness, please read this sermon of the American TV-evangelist. During a sermon on the “Holy Spirit”, Hinn offered the following testimony:

Benny Hinn has taken his powers from Kathryn Kuhlman.

“One of the strangest experiences I had a few years ago [was] visiting Aimee’s tomb in California.

This Thursday I’m on TBN. Friday I am gonna go and visit Kathryn Kuhlman’s tomb. It’s close by Aimee’s in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

I’ve been there once already and every so often I like to go and pay my respects ‘cause this great woman of God has touched my life.

And that grave, uh, where she’s buried is closed, they built walls around it. You can’t get in without a key and I’m one of the very few people who can get in.

But I’ll never forget when I saw Aimee’s tomb. It’s incredibly dramatic. She was such a lady that her tomb has seven-foot angels bowing on each side of her tomb with a gold chain around it.

Kathryn Kuhlman and Pope John. Eye to eye, and hand in hand.

As—as incredible as it is that someone would die with angels bowing on each side of her grave, I felt a terrific anointing when I was there.

I actually, I—I, hear this, I trembled when I visited Aimee’s tomb. I was shaking all over. God’s power came all over me. …

I believe the anointing has lingered over Aimee’s body. I know this may be shocking to you. … And I’m going to take David [Palmquist] and Kent [Mattox] and Sheryl [Palmquist] this week.

They’re gonna come with me. You—you—you gonna feel the anointing at Aimee’s tomb. It’s incredible. And Kathryn’s. It’s amazing. I’ve heard of people healed when they visited that tomb.

They were totally healed by God’s power. You say, ‘What a crazy thing.’ Brother, there’s things we’ll never understand. Are you all hearing me?”

I guess this lesson from Benny Hinn is universal, the very definition of the word Catholic: If you are in Rome, be like the Romans.

Benny Hinn in Toronto 1992. Peopel fell like flies. He was anointed with this powers at the grave of Kathryn Kuhlman in 1991.

In regards to Hinn being caught by the anointing visiting the tomb of Kathryn Kuhlman. That is the ghost than comes up on people whom Benny Hinn touch.

The problem is that this ghost in not the Holy Ghost. Is is a power from the occult realm, that makes you a slave of money and sexual immorality. This is the very spirit of Jezebel.

Kathryn Kuhlman came on an official visit to the Vatican On October 11, 1972. She visited Pope Paul.

Both Ulf Ekman and Benny Hinn are Word of Faith teachers. But during the last years, Hinn and Ekman has moved their theology in two different directions.

While Ekman has managed to over jump even his Lutheran roots, and promotes end time unity with Rome, Hinn has started to get new “super revelations” from God.

From the stage in Sweden, Hinn told the audience that the blood of Jesus was not from his Jewish mother, and other strange new, completely unknown doctrines.

Ulf Ekman has a lot of explanation to do.

Hinns performance on stage left his Swedish host red faced.  To the Swedish daily, Ulf Ekman stated: Some of the teaching of Benny Hinn is pure gnosticism. On Ekmans blog, he warned his readers not to believe all Hinn said, but rather read the Bible.

The flip side of the coin, is that Ekman is the man who invited Hinn to open the European Faith conference. Ekman has also for many years been a student of Faith teachers like Oral Roberts and Kenneth Hagin.

If Ulf Ekman ever reachers the Kingdom of Heaven, He was able to repent. Because the souls he has mislead, runs the risk of not making it into the eternal kingdom.

Benny Hinn violated morality clause

SANFORD – A Lake Mary book publisher is suing televangelist and faith healer Benny Hinn, saying he violated a morality clause in their contract when he began an “inappropriate relationship” with another evangelist, and thus, must pay $250,000.

In August, Hinn admitted to a friendship with evangelist Paula White after The National Enquirer published photos of them in Rome, holding hands.

Hinn was married at the time. His wife, Suzanne, had filed for divorce a few months earlier.

Three years earlier, Hinn had signed a three-book deal with Strang Communications Co. of Lake Mary. He was paid a $300,000 advance on the first one, “Blood in the Sand,” according to the suit.

Hinn acknowledged to his publisher “his inappropriate relationship” with White in August, according to the suit, and agreed that the publisher should get back its money, but he has yet to pay up.

Hinn’s lawyer, Miles Archer Woodlief of Mill Valley, Calif., did not return a phone call Thursday. In a letter attached to the suit, Strang also accused Hinn of violated the contract by failing to work hard enough to market “Blood in the Sand”.

He failed to make television appearances to promote it, including several on “700 Club”, wrote Strang attorney Chris Vlahos. The suit was filed Tuesday in state circuit court.

Hinn lives in suburban Los Angeles. He moved there in 1999 after building a national audience at his faith-healing center, World Outreach Center on Forest City Road in Orlando, where he preached for 14 years.

My Comment:

No one is perfect. There have been many Christians who have sinned. BUT repented and strive to follow the Word of God completely.

Unfortunately, Benny Hinn doesn’t appear to be in that category. Upon many of his “own gospel” errors, Hinn can add inappropriate relationship while married to his list of wrongs.

Yes, he acknowledged what he did was wrong-supposedly to his publisher, but in his position “if he truly followed the Word of God” Hinn should have taken to the podium, and repented from his sins. That would have set an example to all who watch him. Hinn should repent from all his sins, including his false teachings. To read those articles, you can click HERE.

Benny Hinn defends luxury lifestyle in 100 million USD ministry

When asked whether he had any misgivings about the comfortable lifestyle he leads,including a private jet, fancy hotel stays and nice clothes – he immediately responded, «No».

In a rare interview, controversial preacher and faith healer Benny Hinn laid some of his cards on the table, saying he’s been wanting to answer his critics for 20 years.

«I’m very pleased … because it’s time for me to tell it all» Hinn told ABC’s Dan Harris in an interview that aired Monday night. « don’t want people talking for me. I want to talk for myself»

For years, Hinn has been a subject of scrutiny by the media and recently the government for the miraculous healings he claims to do and the lavish lifestyle he leads. His ministry’s latest report from the «Fire Conference and Miracle Service» last month in New York states that teens were healed of leukemia, lung cancer and partial deafness.

«There were so many miracles of healing that people were lined along the sides of the auditorium from the front to the back waiting to come to the platform to testify of God’s healing touch», the report touts. Such conferences, held around the world, have brought in hundreds of thousands of dollars at a time to the ministry, all of which are donations from attendees, many of whom were seeking a physical healing.

No medical certificates

Hinn, who was born into a Greek Orthodox Christian family and later became a zealous charismatic, admitted to ABC that he doesn’t have medical verification of the healings and said some people who claimed they were healed on stage at the events were actually not.

He said, «These are things that I cannot explain because I am not the healer. I’m human like you».

When confronted with the question on whether he’s taking advantage of devoutly religious and vulnerable people for his own enrichment, Hinn said, «You cannot fool all the people all the time. I think if I was fooling the people, over 35 years of it now I would’ve been caught already fooling them».

Hinn and his ministry are currently under a Senate investigation for possible financial misconduct.

«I have nothing to hide», Hinn told ABC’s Harris. But Hinn’s ministry declined to turn over any of the documents to ABC.

This is the first interview in which Hinn has allowed questions regarding the investigation. He told Fox News earlier this month, «[The media] are never going to paint me as I want to be painted».

«But, really, it doesn’t matter as long as people give me the chance to talk» said Hinn, whose program is televised in over 200 countries.

Harris hit him with questions that many have been raising since Hinn began drawing millions of followers and dollars. Although the preacher’s publicist interrupted the taping a couple of times obviously concerned with the direction of the interview, Hinn insisted, «The questions [you] asked me, I’ve wanted someone to ask me for the last 20 years of my life»

When asked whether he had any misgivings about the comfortable lifestyle he leads – including a private jet, fancy hotel stays and nice clothes – he immediately responded, «No».

«Look, you know there’s this idea supposedly that we preachers are supposed to walk about with sandals and ride bicycles. That’s nonsense,” he said, noting that the private plane is “a necessity, not a luxury»

According to ABC, Hinn’s ministry collects an estimated $100 million a year. Hinn revealed that his salary is «over a half-million» but declined to give the exact figure.

«Let me just tell you this, my aim in life is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, that’s all I care about», said Hinn.

He insisted that it would be his pleasure not to receive a cent from the ministry for what he does. But that came with a condition – that he is at least «completely taken care of financially», whether it’s through a side job or the assistance of someone else.
