The Stigmata: Mystical Wounds or Demonic Deceptions?

Why is it that the only “Christians” that receive the “Stigmata” are Catholic? Are these marks “holy” or the complete opposite?

Stigmatist Padre Pio's hands bleeding during Mass. He is now dead and many people pray to him to answer their prayers hoping for a miracle.

I have never heard of born-again Christians having the bloody wounds of Christ. This is because they have accepted Jesus’ free gift of salvation without having to rely on themselves to get to heaven for being “good.”

Saved sinners know exactly what they’ve been saved from. They know there is NOTHING they can do to save themselves. No ritual, no perfect prayer, no good work, no nice deed and no perfect church attendance can save a sinner. Only the blood of Jesus can save. When we accept Christ’s finished work on the cross for us, light meets darkness and we are made new. We can’t take a rag and clean our own souls, only the blood of  Lamb can make us clean and white as snow.

The Catholic Church says that those who have the stigmata are ultra holy and have mystical union with God. They have reached a higher plain of intimacy with Jesus, than the average Christian. Because of there unique union with Jesus, they can bear the marks of Jesus on their body.

Let’s take a look at some Stigmatists:

Therese Neumann spent many days in bed, bleeding from the 'wounds of Christ.' She is said to have lived on only one eucharistic host per day for 12 years without food or water.

Myrna Nazzour of Damascus suffering for the sins of the world.

You can watch this young married woman tortured by spirits here:

Back in the day, I would’ve thought she must have been super holy. This woman, surrounded by idols and icons is under demonic attack. Jesus came to heal the sick and deliver the oppressed. He did not come to make people sick, make them suffer for other people’s sins (as if His blood was insufficient) and give them holy wounds to pay for the sins of the world. What blasphemy is this. Lying signs and wonders.

If you are caught up in following these tortured people thinking you must be like them to win God’s favor, repent and turn to Jesus of Nazareth. The ‘jesus’ they worship is a different ‘jesus.’

Jesus said not to let anyone know you are suffering when fasting.

Matthew 6:6-18

“When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.  But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face,  so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

If He felt this way about fasting and how important it is not to parade your suffering, why would He give bloody wounds for people to worship and revere? Do these wounds portray the Gospel? No, they negate it by adding to the cross of Christ.

The closer we get to the return of our Lord Jesus Christ the more hideous demonic activity is being revealed, TV is hard to watch so much it’s easier just to read a book ..the radio is really not much better, just the wow factor of not being able to see…and the computer is getting so much worse.

  2. Kay says:

I know a priest who copy-cat tried to be like St. Pio (1st photo) imitating him in the stigmata, prophesy, odor of roses, etc…current Pope has him confined in n. Italy & is not allowed to do public ministry.

I know Pio is canonized a saint…curious about Therese Neumen & this Myrna? – has RCC approved them? Etc?

  3. JM says:

YIKES!! This looks more like the Amityville Horror house and photos of the family that lived inside who were terrorized by demons than something “holy”!

Nowhere in the Bible does it say that true Christians should seek out people who start bleeding out of their eyeballs and hands for no apparent reason and then join that church. This is nothing more than the sick, evil, despicable workings of demons.

The deceived members, promoters and those who “tolerate” and “defend” the Roman Catholic Church, those who claim to be spirit filled Christians but say it is okay to pray the rosary “once in awhile” or find it acceptable to have pictures of mary in your home, will give an account to the King of Kings one day soon, and all the pathetic excuses which they cling to so tightly will be burned up along with all of their rewards at the BEMA seat.

The propagation of this sick, satanic deception to prove that Catholics and the pope are the “true, sacred church” is a hideous farce. Those who spend time with Jesus and His Holy Spirit can see right through it.

For those who allow themselves, by either generational curses, demonic activity, ignorance, or just refusal to listen to God in this matter and have made their choice to approve of this fallen apostate “religion”– for those who hang on to the traditions of family rather than to do as Jesus said and to and that is to leave mother, father, sister, brother and follow ONLY JESUS — I pray the Lord opens your eyes.

Nothing short of renouncing this blasphemous lie will do in the eyes of Jesus. He has told us in His message to the seven churches that if you are lukewarm He will spit you out of his mouth.

A rosary and a statue of mary is LUKEWARM. Don’t fool yourself. Your eternity, rewards, and ruling and reigning with Christ are at stake. Make the necessary changes NOW!

      Dear Sue.

      Shalom.

This is a great article, and hopefully many Catholics will read this, and repent.

The issue of “false miracles” are not miracles that do not take place, and presented by people who are liars. False Miracles do take place, and contradict the scriptures. Just like false teachings contradict the scriptures, often in the name of “Jesus”. Occult and false miracles are often linked to stories about Catholic Mary appearing to people as a “ghost”, telling them she is the Mother of God, and that Catholics must stay put in the Vatican.

I still feel some of the stigmata stories have been made up. But curses can obviously manifest them selves physically, a bid by Satan to lead people into deeper bondage to occult death cults like the Roman Catholic Church.

      • Andrea says:

Just curious, Why isn’t there as many or as much detailed about the other ‘cults’ that influence so many people for generations? I mean this by no disrespect to the ones who give us these articles for they are very enlightening to say the very least. Yet as The Word of God speaks on a variety of demonic spirits that is easily seen as the ones ruling many denominations so easily accepted as ‘Christians’ when they lead many away and/or hinder many seeking The Truth. Just asking…for even Pat Robinson said “a Mormon running for President of the USA is a very good Christian”…I’ve been waiting for his apology on this for this time he really needs to apologize! It’s so accepted no matter what the religion, faith or tree-hugger comes along ‘don’t make waves’ and God loves everyone..My Bible explicitly defines The Lord entirely different and don’t mix words on who or what He hates! and who and what He loves. I just believe the time is so short that The Blood of Jesus and the hideous death he took on by so much love for us ALL that we ‘ALL’ should be more aware of The Great Salvation He did for us, so as not to try to white-wash a demonic based religious lie in stead of standing faithful to his Redemptive Work for and in all who will repent and believe. I say this not that I am of special anointing (we all have the anointing for what we are called to do hating the garment they wear to save some) to bring these demonic truths to light but that those who can and do so with much eloquence as well as Scripture-based facts would be a great help (I pray so) for many who read this site and those who many or some of us send copies out to others who have yet to have their eyes opened.

      • ivarfjeld says:

        Dear Andrea

        Shalom.

Why do News That Matters have such a high profile against the Roman Catholic Church?

Why do we not expose other cults?

The answer is very simple. There is only one cult that has its own state. There is only one cult who has a leader with diplomatic immunity, and 180 Ambassadors hailing him. There is only one cult who has a Observer seat at the United Nations. There is only one cult, who has a leader who claims he is the rightful head of all Churches on earth, the very “Vicar of Christ”.

The rest of the cults will hail the mother of all cults, at the very end of the road. There will only be two flocks left. The sheep and the goats. If we can avoid people accepting the mother of all cults as anything but lies, deceptions and wickedness, we might be able to find some people in heaven, who have repented. Because without repentance a billion people or more will perish, and have to spend eternity in Hell, simply by accepting an anti-Christ in flesh as a valid and legitimate “Christian” leader.

If you do not accept the Pope as a Christian leader, you better tell your Catholic friends about it. If not their blood will come on your hands.

        Dear Ivar.

        Blessings.

        Thanks for your words.

As I have been told in the past, those with Stigmata’s were ‘holy.’ I thought I had to work very hard in order to be holy and become like one of these people

There are many miracles in the Catholic church, but from whom do these miracles derive? Miracles performed by demons give a false proof of the ‘one true church’ keeping people inside of it’s walls. I always considered if “proof.”

Some stigmata’s are fake. I met a woman with a stigmata once. I believe it was legitimate. She held my hand as I spoke with her. That night I got attacked. I threw up for 24 hours. I knew, it was from the devil. The whole night there was the presence of demons in my room. I thought it was because I was with someone holy. Now I know the truth.

      • James says:

Mary is the Mother of God.

    • My friend, a minister, used to think as you about Mary. Until his dream of Jesus, asking him “why do you persecute my Mother?”. She who was Chosen of God, to bear the Messiah.
And those who think the sacrafice of Jesus saves; yes it does. But do you never read the Words from The Word Himself, which tell we may still damn ourselves. For instance, he says he will forsake those ashamed to be his followers, and hide it. Also, to sin against the Holy Spirit (Comforter), is Not Forgiven. “NOT FORGIVEN”. It does not say, “… except for Born Again Christians; you go ahead and do it & its Okay” … now does He !?
Does He ?! Thus, for God’s sake, and yours, Listen to HIM !
Peace Be With You ( and … ?!)

  4. Denise says:

We are to test every spirit to see if it is from GOd. The test is scripture.
The scars that Yeshua bares are are not stigmatas, we know how He got them, He suffered greatly to get His, and they are scars, period!
I believe that what we see here is demonic.

  5. wendy gayle dischler says:

GOD WILL DETERMINE HOW FAR “SHARING IN THE SUFFERINGS OF CHRIST” IS BIBLICAL; ONE KNOWS ONE’S RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST FOR ONESELF; NOT EVERYTHING SAID UNSCRIPTURAL IS UNSCRIPTURAL; SOME PEOPLE CALLED UNSCRIPTURAL ARE MORE SCRIPTURAL, BELIEVING LITERALLY… THEIR HEART IS RIGHT! I ACTUALLY HEARD A PASTOR SAYING, “THIS IS NOT THE BLOOD OF CHRIST…,” AT COMMUNION . . . IN DIRECT OPPOSITION TO SCRIPTURE–JESUS SAID, “THIS IS MY BLOOD . . .” MATTHEW 26:28, For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. JUST BE CAREFUL. <3+MOTHER

    • Denise says:

      Shabbat Shalom Wendy,
Jer:17:9, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; Who can know it?” This is why GOd tells us, to test the spirits, to make sure that they are from GOd. This is why we are told, not to add or to take anything away from His word. So scripture is the way,by which, we can know the things that are from GOd, and the things that are not from GOd.
How are blood spots magicly appearing on someones hands, evidence of ‘sharing in the suffering of Christ?’ This person wasn’t crucified, so whare exactly, is the suffering part? If anything, these oddities minamize suffering. GOd, gives us these instructions for our protection, and if we’re wise we will use them.
Soon we here in America will indeed have to suffer for our faith. In this country we don’t have any idea what it means to suffer. However, as the birth pangs increase, Satan will rachet up his attacks against believers. We need to allow the Holy Spirit to prepare our hearts to accept and to endure the perrsecution that Satan will shortly unleash against the entire body of Christ.
Blessings to you sister, and may the Lord increase your faith.

      • Andrea says:

Many do and many have ‘known the suffering for their faith’ in America. I do believe that there will be untold suffering as the shouts of Pharaoh’s laws continue to change, you’ll continue to see the church’s and a lot of their people come so unglued during this time, that will, I pray, awaken them to Truth. Many will turn away from Our Lord and Savior! I see this in my daily walk, how hard will it be for many to believe. The ease in which people ” sue and shout for their rights’ their faith will be hid in ‘their rights’ and not in their ‘first Love’. I pray I too will not be found wanting, but rather found faithful to The Holy One of Israel!

      • James says:

Again, which canon of Scripture? And if the heart is desperately wicked, how can you know you are interpreting Scripture correctly?

      • Andrea. says:

The natural minded man can not know the things of the spirit.

      • Denise says:

        Hi James,
I don’t know anything about catholic cannons. However, I can tell you what I have: I have the Hebrew and English TANAKH, put out by the Society For Distrubuting Hebrew Scriptures. I also have the Hebrew- English Brit Chadashah (New Testament) and I also have the NKJV of the Bible. I hope that this is helpful.

  6. sueliz1 says:

    Wendy.

Are you defending the stigmata then? Jesus also said he was a door, a vine..is this literal to you?

    • ivarfjeld says:

      Dear Sue.

      Shalom.

Jesus is also the “rock” of our salvation. So Catholic should basically take some stones on their back, and carry them through the streets. I guess they will feel this is a to heavy burden. But to drink literally blood, is ok. A very strange logic, that in in every way linked to spiritual blindness.

  7. Oldman says:

Don’t you heard the holy words :

1Peter 4:13 But rejoice in the degree that you have shared in the sufferings of Christ,..

Jesus suffered on the cross for the sin of the world. Praying for the sinful souls are also suffering. It is a free will, to suffer for other people’s sins. The way to Heaven is too narrow and suffering.

    • ivarfjeld says:

      Dear Oldman.

Shalom, and welcome to this site.

      You wrote:

1Peter 4:13 But rejoice in the degree that you have shared in the sufferings of Christ,..

      My reply:

You can not suffer for your own sins, in a bid to get redeemed. Jesus suffered in your place. He carried your sins to the cross and paid in full with His own blood, once and for all.

To suffer for Christ, is something totally different. This is to tell others about Him. If you do, you will be mocked and ridiculed. Some will be beaten, and even killed. Very few talk to others about Jesus. To pick up a cross daily, is not to carry a piece of wood in the neighborhood. It is to flow against the stream, and do the Fathers will, while the rest do what the flesh desire. The whole World will surely hate you, when you do this.

      • Denise says:

        Hi Oldman,
Often times Christians fail to fully understand scripture, their churches have long ago removed the depth and beauty that the Hebrew mindset provides. As to the issue of (free will,) this is temple language. One example of this is when Yeshua said; “no man takes my life, I lay it down, of my own FREE WILL.”
He is telling the listener that He is not only a Sin Offering, but that He is a free will offering, as well.
This occures again, when speaking to the jews, Yeshua says; “If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. Luke: 19,42. Once again, using temple langague, He is letting the listener that He is your Peace Offering.
GOd, gave us the scriptures so that we could test any spirit, to see if it is from Him. If you search the the word of GOd for any examples of spontainous occurances of bleeding stigmata, you will not find it. This is how we know that it is not from Him. Secondly, the appearance of sudden bleeding which is not brought about by any affliction, in effect, cheapens the real agony that Yeshua endured.
Yeshua told us that we would be hated and many of us killed, because we carry His name. This is a common experience; you’ll notice, you can talk to anyone about GOd, in the generic sense, but once you put a name to this GOd, namely, Yeshua or Jesus, suddenly, the conversation is not as welcomed. In the comming days we can expect this type of intolerance to increase. This type of suffering will be real and it will be because we carry His name.

Beautifully written Denise. Thankyou for ministering to the readers.

    • Denise says:

      Hi sueliz1,
Thanks, but I am not a writer. Most times, but not always, I will pray for the Holy Spirit to help me, and the difference between the two is obvious. There was a time when I could hardly speak or write a sentance without using the ‘F’ word. So all the praise is GOd’s alone.

  9. sueliz1 says:

    Denise.
:) …. I’m sure paul and james did not have a journalism degree. You are in good company. Lol.

  10. Oldman says:

    Hi ivarfjeld and Denise,

Don’t you do fasting? It’s a self suffering to get strength to the prayer what we are asking. Everything is with His Mercy.

  11. sueliz1 says:

    Hi Oldman,

I know you addressed Ivar and Denise but I just wanted to add a quick comment.

Fasting and the denial of this bodily need, draws us closer to God, who becomes our bread and our living water. It reminds us of our complete and total dependence on God, who gives us all our needs.

Fasting is not used to pay for ones sins or anyone else’s sins. We simply hunger and thirst for Him.

Oldman, if you can save another person from suffering, the gospel is null and void. His blood alone is sufficient to save and to cover you completely.

In the scripture, Jesus healed EVERY disease and never GAVE illness to people. His message is compassion: feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and delivering the oppressed! Praise God! He never said to one person “Be sick so the glory of God will be evident.” No. He said the radical opposite and set free all those who believed.

Therefore, the stigmata is a deceptive deception, convincing the blind that Jesus’ blood was not enough. That we need to fill in the gap for Jesus. This is a lie from hell. He is mighty to save! Completely and totally. There is nothing you or I can do to add to His PERFECT work. And to accept Him as Savior and Lord liberates you from the burdens you carry. Have you accepted Him as Savior Old Man?

  12. Oldman says:

If this for the Glory of God what is your problem my dear brothers?

John 11:3-4 So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.” When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.”

And about a born blind man:
John 9:3 said Jesus, “but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.

“We see the wise and wonderful arrangement of Divine Providence. It is a part of his great plan to adapt his mercies to the woes of men: and often calamity, want, poverty, and sickness are permitted, that he may show the provisions of his mercy, that he may teach us to prize his blessings, and that deep-felt gratitude for deliverance may bind us to him.”

  13. sueliz1 says:

    Oldman,,

Why did the sickness in John 11 glorify God? because Jesus, healed the sick person and raised him up. The person did not remain ill, He was healed. The healing is what glorified God, not the sickness.

God did not give the illness in John 9. But He used the sickness to glorify the Father, whose will was for the person to SEE and be WELL.

  14. sueliz1 says:

    Isaiah 53:4

Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.

    Isaiah 53:5

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.

If it was God’s will that people were sick, then it would a sin to go to a doctor and seek healing. it would be a sin to take medicine. Jesus bore our infirmities on the cross and gave us a new nature. Our illnesses were nailed to the cross. And He bore them all.

  15. MAMaK says:

Please read the entirety of the following. I am Catholic. I went through each argument, and explained it. I countered many arguments, all of which are important. Seek the truth in full, not just part; that is Christianity. Feel free to email me questions, comments, concerns,and/or complaints at mkatalenich@yahoo.com. Do not send me vague comments against the Church; please provide actual arguments with which I can work. Do not try to convert me without some very good evidence; otherwise, you labor in complete vain.

    Here we go…

Catholics would not say that one who Has stigmata is “ultra-holy.” It is defined as a Charism (that which is given to an individual regardless of personal sanctification). “without having to rely on themselves to get to heaven for being “good.”” So, if you believe in Jesus, but do bad, you’ll still get to heaven? That doesn’t make sense. What about people who have never heard the name of Jesus by no fault of their own? Are they excluded from heaven since they do not “believe in Jesus?” God certainly wouldn’t expect them to go to Hell because they haven’t heard of Jesus. not hearing His name isn’t a sin. By that logic, Moses wouldn’t have been in Heaven (he wouldn’t have known the name of Jesus). The closer we are to Christ, the more the Devil hates us. It makes sense that those who are closest (yet still within his reach on Earth) should be the most tormented.

Why would praying the Rosary be evil? All it does (if you’ve even read the words) is ask Mary to pray for us. Have you ever asked someone else to pray for you? It’s exactly the same thing. Jesus told us to pray for one another. Doesn’t it make sense to ask the one who is closest to Him to do so for us? this is the same reason Catholics pray to Saints. Also, the word “pray” does not mean worship. Praying is merely asking someone. It comes from the Latin “precare” meaning “to ask in earnest.” If a Catholic ever worshiped Mary, they would not be in communion with Christ or the Church, because that would be wrong.

Stigmata are not in the Bible. This is true. Neither are the 36,000 denominations of Christianity. By this logic, we could see that having 36,000 “types’ of Christians is from the Bible. Actually, you can’t believe that the Bible is infallible if you do not believe that the Catholic Church is infallible. otherwise, the Bible would be full of errors. Only God makes no mistakes, unless he gives that power to an entity. No God certainly came to each of the 36,000 denominations individually. Jesus only gave “the power to bind and loose” to one man, Peter, the Earthly-leader of the first Christian Church (The Catholic Church). Other things not mentioned in the Bible: The New Testament itself, SOLA SCRIPTVRA, faith-alone salvation, etc.

“God did not give illness,” but He let Lazarus die. he knew about it, and chose to let Him die. He raised him up. People who have stigmata are “let have them” bu God. He will raise them up.

“You cannot suffer for your own sins in a bid to get redeemed.” True, but you can work through suffering to bring about God’s blessing. We do not earn salvation. Nothing we do can merit salvation (even accepting Christ). Nothing. God gives it to us. However, it was the belief of the early Christians (Apostles included), that suffering for God (physically and spiritually) meant more than just being ridiculed. it meant true, physical pain and affliction if need be. If God gave stigmata to someone as an example that we have enough strength to pursue God anyway, then that would be a great example. He has done this.

Until the schism and reformation, all Christians were Catholic. This includes the Apostles. If the Apostles were Catholic, why shouldn’t we be? The Catholic Church has never changed a single teaching since Christ gave the first one, ALL other denominations have. Can you truly say that you follow Christ, if you changed what He said/meant? Isn’t changing something to suit your own desires/thoughts just like making something of your won? Wouldn’t you be worshiping something which you created? Wouldn’t that be idolatry?

As Christians, we are not people of a book! We are people of a person, Jesus Christ. Anyone who claims only to believe in the Bible, fails to see that the Bible doesn’t “believe in the Bible.” No where in the bible does it say that Mark, Luke, Matthew, and John wrote the Gospels (these Titles were added by the Catholic Church to the original texts). The Bible didn’t exist for the first Christians (they didn’t practice SOLA SCRIPTVRA). They believed in what Christ taught, and taught it themselves as the Catholic Church. If this Church has never changed her teachings (which she hasn’t, There are no examples where you can show that she has. Go ahead and try.), then it would still teach what Christ taught. This is the definition of the true Church of Christ.

“YIKES!! This looks more like the Amityville Horror house and photos of the family that lived inside who were terrorized by demons than something “holy”!” Jesus’ dying on the cross for a crime He didn’t commit sounds more like a bad detective movie than something holy. But, you would never have claimed that would you?

“Nowhere in the Bible does it say that true Christians should seek out people who start bleeding out of their eyeballs and hands for no apparent reason and then join that church.” No, but it does say that true Christians should seek out a man who was reviled by His peers, called a heretic by the Holy Council, whipped for treason, crowned with thorns and mocked for His “insolence,” and crucified as nothing greater than a common criminal, and join His Church (note the singular noun).

Following traditions isn’t evil. No where in Scripture does it say that we should celebrate Christmas on December 25th. The Church established this Tradition. No where does it say that we should have Sunday be our Holy day; actually, it claims Saturday in the Old testament. Christian Churches have used this Tradition from the time of Christ. Tradition also names our Churches. it gives us what we use as ways of ordaining ministers. It gives us the idea of SOLA SCRITVRA. It gives us the name Christians. “for those who hang on to the traditions of family rather than to do as Jesus said … to leave mother, father, sister, brother and follow ONLY JESUS — I pray the Lord opens your eyes.”

      My comment:

People have been sent to Hell, long time before Jesus came in flesh and died on the cross for the sins of the Word. Men is cursed, and all of us, ALL, deserve to be sent to Hell.

There is only one gate to Heaven, and it is narrow. If you want to live, you have to search for the truth. If not you will die in your sins, and perish.

The World of God is now widely available. The Bible is there, and the gospel is presented in TV, radio, CD, DVD and on the Internet.

Jesus has promised that all who seek for the truth, will find Him. Those who do not care will not find Him, and perish. Likewise those who rejects Him. Inside Iran are Muslims saved, simply by crying out in His name. The Messiah sends His Holy Spirit on them. They have no idea about who the Pope is, and there is no Roman Catholic Churches to be found for about 800 kilometers.

This is simply not true. The apostles were JEWISH. Not “catholic.” The apostles were not priests. (please show me in the bible where you get this from.) The apostles would never pray to anyone but God. Not “Saints”, not “Mary” not Steven, the first martyr.
The apostles did not drink blood and flesh, say Mass or have tabernacles in their homes. There were no “holy days of obligation” and no hierarchy. There were elders, yes but not a hierarchy as developed from Constantine. There were also no ‘indulgences’ in the apostles day.
It is a fallacy that the first Christians were Catholic and ruled by an infallible “Pope.” Just not true.

      Mamak,

Jesus said that just before the tribulation, deception and evil would run rampant and evil men would deceive and be deceived. After I read your post, Bible Prophecy was right on the money once again.

I would say that 99.5 percent of these so-called stigmata wounds are fake, painted on hoaxes. The other .5 percent are the workings of demons. And what a coincidence that within just a few short hours, most of the so-called wounds are reported to “miraculously” disappear.

If the “saints” in these photos were alive today, maybe they would be able to have their own Reality TV Show called, “Saints, Stigmata, and Swenson’s Ice Cream.”

The show could take us behind the scenes where we could watch the most holy “charismatic” frauds self-inflict wounds with pocket knives on themselves, while pouring red dye, ketchup, or some type of collected blood (whether human or animal) all over the so-called mystical wounds.

(By the way, the second photo from the top with the caption that reads:)

“Therese Neumann spent many days in bed, bleeding from the ‘wounds of Christ.’ She is said to have lived on only one eucharistic host per day for 12 years without food or water.”

Well! That must be one nutrition packed wafer to keep Therese Neumann so pleasantly plump for 12 long years! Maybe the author of “The South Beach Diet” needs to investigate this and write a new book called: “The Eucharistic Diet — One Pint of Blood Loss Equals One Pound of Weight Loss.”

(Shuuuuuush!) Don’t tell anyone, but I would bet that Miss Therese had a few boxes of pop-tarts and Snickers bars hiding under the mattress.

The only miracle that we are witnessing here is not some “holy stigmata” but the fact that these liars have not be committed to a mental institution or put in jail for the fraud they perpetrate.

But I suppose a better place for them rather than an institution or jail, according to the pope, would be to have them lie like a decaying corpse in a Catholic “church” somewhere so the “faithful ” can bow down to them, kiss the glass encasement they are in, and pray directly to them — instead of to the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Yeshua.

May God have mercy on you, Mamak. I will keep you in prayer.

      • Denise says:

        Hi JM,
It’s sad, but these empty “miracles” keep many people in bondage to the catholic church and to Satan. As the days become more wicked even the ellect will have to be very cautious. Remember, G’d will allow Satan to perform miracles, this power will be granted to him by G’d, Himself. This is why we must depend on G’d's word alone, to judge what is from G’d and what is from Satan. Just keep praying for G’d to increase the size of the remnant, and to increase the number of workers, for the end times harvest of souls. Peace be upon you, and upon your house hold.

    • Denise says:

      Hi sueliz,
Tell who ever you are chatting with to google the pope kissing the koran. If that dosen’t convince her, then I don’t know what will. Look at pictures of this pope and you can see that he even looks demonic. There are some people who love the traditions of men more than they love G’d. His word is very clear; there is only one mediator between G’d and men, and that is Yeshua,(Jesus.) There is only one acceptable sacrifice for sin and that is yeshua’s blood. Period!

  17. Oldman says:

    Hi Denise,

    You wrote:

Then how will an ordinary believer know what is from G’d and what is from Satan. Please write the verses to help believers.

    Peace with you

    • ivarfjeld says:

      Dear Oldman

      Shalom.

Her is the stern warning that exposes that SATAN has permission to perforce miracles, to test us:

      Deuteronomy 13

      Worshiping Other Gods

If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a sign or wonder, and if the sign or wonder spoken of takes place, and the prophet says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and let us worship them,” you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul.

      • Oldman says:

        Dear Ivarfjeld,

It is ok with Deuteronomy 13 for Worshiping Other Gods.

Here we are discussing the same God. How to test the spirit what is from God and what is from Satan. These Stigmata either from God or Satan and how to identify?

        Peace be with you.

      • Andrea says:

        Amen! to Deuteronomy 13

      • Denise says:

        Hi Andrea,
Yeshua, being fully G’d and fully man, is the only acceptable sinless sacrifice, and it is only His bloood that was shed, for a purpose, as a sin offering. He is the One who laid down His life, no one else. And as G’d, He shares His Glory with no man! Period! Hi, again Andrea, I wrote this to you, for you to share it with the person that you are having this exchange with.
        Blessings to you!

  18. Oldman says:

Amen! to Deuteronomy 13 >>> Worshiping Other Gods

Amen! to 1 John 4 >>> Testing the Spirits

1 John 4:2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses Jesus as the Christ who has come in the flesh is from God,
1 John 4:3 but every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God, and this is the spirit of the antichrist,…

    In my humble opinion:
    * St. Padre Pio confesses Jesus as the Christ.
    * He had stigmata for about 50 years and stay fresh and uninfected.
    * His life was not evil. He known for his long hours of prayer, penitence, obedience and humility – the qualities not certainly of Satan.

Praying for Jesus Mercy upon everyone.

    • ivarfjeld says:

      Dear Oldman.

      Shalom.

      Your comment:

In my humble opinion:* St. Padre Pio confesses Jesus as the Christ.* He had stigmata for about 50 years and stay fresh and uninfected.

      My reply:

Read Isaiah 53. Stigmata is blasphemy against the Messiah, who is the only one who was pierced for my transgressions. I do not want stigmata of created beings. I reject them as demonic falsehood. A false Miracle is a miracles that goes head on the scriptures, The Wold of God.

      • Andrea says:

This is in reply to ‘Oldman” saying, I said Amen o tDeuteronomy 13 is worshiping other gods. That is not what I said..nor is it what I meant. Anyone who twists The Word of God, will ultimately twist The Word of God for their own benefit, ie to appear as ‘right’ using The Word to justify what they want said I said ‘Amen to Deuteronomy 13 in response to Ivars explanation of the topic at hand! The Lord Jesus Christ is the only one I will worship…all others are man-made inspired by Satan!

      • Denise says:

Andrea, excellent point, my dear sister!

    • Andrea says:

Amen! to Deuteronomy 13 >>> Worshiping Other Gods
      ??? How sad…How sad!!!

  19. Oldman says:

Matthew 7:16-20 >>> A Tree and Its Fruit

16 You will recognize them by their fruit. Grapes are not gathered from thorns or figs from thistles, are they?
17 In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.
18 A good tree is not able to bear bad fruit, nor a bad tree to bear good fruit.
19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20 So then, you will recognize them by their fruit.

Now it is inevitable to recognize St. Padre Pio because of his fruits.
We should (also) test the spirit with their fruits.

Praying HolySpirit to give wisdom to everyone.

    • ivarfjeld says:

      Dear Oldman.

      Shalom.

      We shall looks for fruits.

If you ask a Roman Catholic, where He will go after he die, he will not know. At best he will says: I will depart for Purgatory. He might have heard the gospel, but have been told it is a false gospel. That includes the Italian priest Pio. No fruits. Just lies and wickedness without end. Catholics have been told to believe and teach papal doctrines. If you believe in them, you are on the high way to Hell.

      • Kiki says:

I am a Roman Catholic, I believe in God, I am a good person, I give my time to help at the library, I am kind to people. Yes, of course I sin! Don’t you? But in the end I KNOW I am going to heaven.

I don’t think that anybody but God has the right to decide where anybody is going after they die.

The only reason I looked at this article was to see pictures of Padre Pio. But I read the article, then the comments. It’s enraged me. If you’re a “Christian” you don’t condemn others to hell, or make rude comments about the way we worship.

      • Kay says:

        Kiki,

You wrote you don’t think anyone has the right to declare who gets to heaven: that kind of contradicts catholic belief that the Pope declares who has made it to heaven when he declares someone a saint. And RCC can condemn those who leave the RCC to hell & they are anathema.

        Kay

  20. ian says:

‘every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste and house will fall against house.’ -luke 11:17. Now, if these stigmatas are from the devil but bring many closer to jesus then how can they be from him? Just as Catholics HONOR (not worship) Mary and the Saints, it is all meant to bring us closer to Jesus. How does it bring us closer to Jesus? it gives us examples of normal people just like you and me to live a life of holiness. We can only hope to aspire to be like God, however, we can never ever be God. Honoring the saints is just another form of admiration, like giving respect to a great leader or athlete and praying for their intercession is like asking a friend for his prayers. Ultimately the main goal is to bring us closer to God. I saw some comments earlier about the mystery of the Eucharist and it truly
is a mystery…lol. It took me awhile to wrap my head around eating jesus but after I stopped seeking through my own heart and instead through Jesus’s

    • ian says:

      I was able to realize it’s awesomeness…just my 2 cents…God Bless guys!

    • Denise says:

      Hi Ian,
All of these “saints” are nothing more than dead people, so prayer to a dead “saint,” even as an intersessor, is wrong on several points…One there is only ONE meidiator between G’d and man and that is Yeshua.aka, Jesus. Also praying or conversing, with the dead is called necromancy, it is a practice that is absolutely forbiden, and is called an abomination by G’d. The “saints” are nothing more than sinful people, just like the rest of humanity and to glorify them beyond that, is sinful. G’d says that He shares His glory with no man.
Love and blessings, in the Lord.

    • Denise says:

      Hi Ian,
I don’t know much obout Catholics, that said, I think that you might be refering to the bread and wine. These are just two of the elements of the Passover Sedar. What Yeshua was saying, is that He was G’d's passover Lamb, and that He would be leaving soon, to die on a tree as an offering for sin. He was also telling His decipels that in the future, when they partook of these Passover elements, that they were to remember Him, and that we were to remember that His body and His blood were shed for us,by Him, on our behalf. He told His deciples that He would not touch wine again until He drinks it in in the messianic kingdom. This is a Jewish Rabbi, speaking to His Jewish deciples. Yeshua was fulfilling part of the Spring Feast. In His second coming He will also fulfill the fall feast. Nothing Catholic here.

    • Kay says:

Praying to saints is a distraction. It is a deceit. I myself was a devout saint-prayer & it lead me to great depression b/c it goes against God’s law. It does not bring life. Once I realized this & gave my heart/soul only to Jesus, I have had great joy & peace praying directly & only to my Lord Jesus. No one can convince me now to pray to a human (dead) when I am free to go to Jesus & that He desires only this!

  21. Denise says:

    Hi Ian,
I forgot something, you are not eating Jesus. I can well imagine the difficulty you would have trying to wrap your head around that teaching.

  22. cecy says:

I know of a “born again christian” who has the stigmata and believes it from god and when praying for deliverance for people diamonds were spit out why such maifestations how can saton be involved in such a life what was the open door and how do we expose such as false to those whom follow

  23. cecy says:

what do you think of the dead sea scrouls

  24. dominique says:

I can’t believe how anti-catholic so many christians are. I am a Catholic and i respect and appreciate all christians no matter what denomination. The Catholic church is not a cult. there are sometimes corrupt and deceitful people in the church but that is so in every organisation the world over. In my opinion, the ‘holy’ Benny Hinn is one of those corrupt people.

I don’t know a lot about the nun Therese or the other girl but i know a lot about Parde Pio and he was a VERY holy man. He saved a LOT of souls and he suffered all his life to atone for the sins of others and convert souls for Jesus. He was a very humble man and never flaunted his stigmata. In fact he was extremely humiliated that the wounds were visible and begged Christ to take them away because of the attention they drew. Another very holy saint who had stigmata was st. Francis of Assisi and if you knew anything about him you would know that he too way a humble, kind and generous person and i guarantee you could find no way to call him demonic or possessed.

I am surprised that so many christians believe that we do not have to do anything more than believe to be saved. I think there is a lot more to it than that or life would be far too easy. And we know life wasn’t easy for Jesus. aren’t we supposed to follow his example? If Jesus can suffer for us when He doesn’t even deserve it, why can’t we suffer for Him? It seems obvious that we should suffer as He did and the stigmata, to bear Jesus’ own wounds seems to me a great blessing. How honoured are these humble disciples who are allowed to suffer for Christ as Christ suffered for us?

I encourage christians to be open minded. My Catholic faith is the deepest, richest and most beautiful thing in my life. I hope you don’t think that these images would turn me off it? Do you think Catholics don’t already know about the stigmatics and the horrible reality of their suffering? We know and we embrace.

I would also like to add that I know a lot more protestants who speak in tongues than i know Catholics (although many still do). I think God allows different people different blessings. Just because something is different to what you are used to doesn’t mean it is bad or wrong.

    • ivarfjeld says:

      Dear dominique

      Shalom.

      You wrote:

….know a lot about Parde Pio and he was a VERY holy man. He saved a LOT of souls….

      My comment:

One of the problems with the Roman Catholic Church, is that the RCC priests have no clue about how to be saved. They teach a false gospel, walks in a false Holy Spirit, and deceive both them selves and all who listen to them.

Man is saved by faith alone, in Jesus alone, separated from works. Neither the Pope nor Padre Pio can save anyone.

    • sueliz1 says:

      Dominique,

What is the purpose of the stigmata?
      Non-Christian stigmata

Among the Warao of the Orinoco Delta, a contemplator of tutelary spirits may mystically induce the development of “openings in the palms of his hands.”[29] That these tutelary spirits are presented by the “itiriti snake” makes for a close analogue with the Seraph who endowed Francis of Assisi with his stigmata.

Buddhist “stigmata”[30][31] are regularly indicated in Buddhist art.

      Read more: http://www.answers.com/topic/stigmata#ixzz1n1gnOnA9

Did you know Buddhists and other religions get the stigmata? This is demonic. Padre Pio’s blood can NOT save one person, only the finished work of Jesus can save. Ivar is right. Catholics do not understand salvation. I know because i was one.

  25. Mark says:

Answers to some of the questions stated here..
    Are these from the devil?
    Luke 9: 49-50

    Matthew 12:22-37

    Prayer to saints
    Rev. 5:8-14

Although many catholics are going in the wrong path, it doesnt mean that all catholics are going there also. Some catholics are sinners, and will do anything for earthly satisfaction and glory but it doesnt mean that all of them are. In my opinion, some born again christians pastor are corrupt, but I know for a fact that not all of these pastors are.
