Virgin Centurione died in 1651. 150 years later her corpse was removed from the grave, and kept for display in Genova.
No one in sure how many corpses the Roman Catholic Church have kept for display for adoration and veneration. But this lady died in Genova in Italy is 1651 A.D.
150 years lauer, in 1801 her body was removed from the grave, to be kept for display. Lets take a look at some few more pictures:

A man made image and a corpse. A life that ended as a tragedy around idol worship and sinful prayer of the pagan rosary chain.
The Vatican did not start the process of beautification before 1985. That is a long wait for those who kept on venerating a person, who had not performed authorized miracles.
What would have happened to the remains of this person, if the Pope refused to grant “it“sainthood?
Would the corpse have been reburied 334 years after it had been removed from the grave?
Why did it take the Vatican 184 years to complete the process of beautification in the the first place?
Was it the local production of suitable garments that took so long time?
The body of ‘Saint Virginia Centurione from Genova in Italy is not a pleasant catch for the eye. It makes me wonder what the “beautification” process is all about, but a wicked looting of a dead woman’s grave.

A belated L’ Shana Tova to you Ivar,
When ever I hear about the veneration of anything other than GOd, it sends up a huge red flag for me. The muslims have their black rock that they bow down to. It is said, that the rock was white at first, but, because the rock is able to absorb the sins of the faithful, the rock is now black. Yet, muslims will tell you that they do not worship idols. The connection to the worship of the moon god, is another form of idolatry that they try to deny; note the creasent moon, it is Islam’s emblem.
It is beyond my understanding how anyone with a modicum of common sense, could in any way, reverence, let alone pray to, something as macabre as this, and not call it idolatry, necromancy, and sorcery.
GOd is very clear in matters of worship. It is to Him alone that we are to render sacred service, or worship. We are not allowed to pray for the dead; never mind, praying to the dead. Besides, it’s down right creepy!
Dear Denise.
Sabbath Shalom, and happy New Year.
Thanks for blessing me. It will keep me blogging.
