When sport turns into idol worship of Zeus

The Olympic games was established to honor the Greek “god” Zeus.

Many people have “no time” to join Christian fellowships, nor any time to study the Bible. They are too busy running between different sports arenas, or watching sports on TV.

Paul the Jewish apostle acknowledge that physical activity does have some value. But in regards to modern day profession sport, such activity have become “money worship”around a pagan religion.

Little does  modern sportsmen know, that they have been deceived by the Greek pagan god “Zeus”.

Norwegian MP: Stop criminals who support Jewish settlers

The Norwegian police should investigate organizations who collect money to Jewish settlers.

Conservative MP Petter Gittmark wants to make the Mountains of Zion a "Jew free zone".

This is a public statement by Conservative Norwegian MP Petter Gitmark. He wants to bring an end to Norwegian support for Jewish setters in Judea and Samaria.

” Financial support given to Jewish settlers on Palestinian land is an act of criminality. The Norwegian police must investigate organizations who raise funds for contructions beyond the 1967-lines, explains Gitmark to the Norwegian Newspaper “Fœdrelandsvennen”.

Gittmark demands that all Norwegian submit to International law, and that no religion should lead its members into criminality. Such acts must be punished, demands Gitmark.
- Such support is today honored by a tax-free regime. We must end this arrangements immediately, demands Gitmark.  He request the police to act swiftly.

My comment:

We can not expect non-Christians to accept the Bible as the authority of how we shall relate to Israel.

Neither non-Christian ordinary citizens, nor members of Parliaments.

But to elected members of Parliament, we can raise some demands.

They must be able to read, understand and quote correctly from International Law.

Is Arab construction on disputed land illegal?

If the answer is yes, why do the Norwegian Government support Arabian construction on the mountains in Zion with tens of millions of dollars?

If such Arabian construction is illegal, than the Norwegian government is the criminals that the Police must investigate.

If such Arabian construction is not illegal, neither is Jewish constructions on the same land illegal.

Illegal constructions has nothing to do with the faith of the constructor.  Disputed land is disputed regardless if you are a Muslim or a Jew.

That something is restricted for “Jews only” is  basically the message from men like Adolf Hitler.  He tried to make Europe a “Jew free zone”.  The Mountains of Zion has never been, and must never become a “Jew free zone”

Obama: “Only a small Israel can be allowed to live in peace ”

Gamal Helal: President Obama supports the Arab viewpoint, that Israel must be reduced in size to be allowed to live in “peace”.

Gamal Helal has for many years guided US Presidents in how to relate to Arabs who wants to destroy Israel.

Gamal Helal is a former adviser to US presidents on Middle East affairs, told the Arabic newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat that what Obama has done is adopt the Arab line concerning negotiations.

Helal noted that for the Arabs – from the Egyptians to the Jordanians to the Palestinians – the 1967 borders have always been the starting point for any peace process, since they don’t believe they should lose any territory as a result of their past efforts to destroy Israel.

“The US stance in all the past years has been to agree to the solutions agreed by the sides through the negotiations without the United States stipulating anything so that this stipulation would not be an obstacle at the negotiations,” said Helal.

He continued: “This new thesis, which President Obama presented in his Thursday’s speech, supports the Arab viewpoint, and is a basic hindrance for the Israeli side, which links the size of Israel before 1967 to the ability to defend it, as the Israelis say that if Israel is of small area, it will be difficult to defend it.”

Solar storms to peak in 2013 and cause destruction

A leading scientist believes a ferocious solar storm will occur in 2013

Dr Sullivan, a former Nasa astronaut who in 1984 became the first woman to walk in space, yesterday told a UN weather conference in Geneva that ‘it is not a question of if, but really a matter of when a major solar event could hit our planet’.

She is not the only expert to issue a warning about the threat posed by solar storms.

In February, astronomers warned that mankind is now more vulnerable to such an event than at any time in history – and that the planet should prepare for a global Hurricane Katrina-style disaster.

A massive eruption of the sun would save waves of radiation and charged particles to Earth, damaging the satellite systems used for synchronizing computers, airline navigation and phone networks.

If the storm is powerful enough it could even crash stock markets and cause power cuts that last weeks or months, experts told the American Association for the Advancement of Science. The chances of a disruption from space are getting stronger because the sun is entering the most active period of its 11 to 12-year natural cycle.

The world got a taste of the sun’s explosive power in February when the strongest solar eruption in five years sent a torrent of charged plasma hurtling towards the world at 580 miles per second. The storm created spectacular aurora and disrupted radio communications.

Solar storms are caused by massive explosions on the sun. The explosions release waves of X-rays and ultraviolet radiation which smash into the Earth within minutes, disrupting radio signals and damaging the electronics of satellites.

They are followed ten to 20 minutes later by a burst of energetic particles which cause even more havoc with satellites – and then 15 to 30 hours later by supercharged plasma which collides with Earth’s magnetic field.

If this is to occur, it would fall under what Our Savior Jesus Christ has said: there will be signs, in the sun, moon and stars.

Luke 21:25

There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.

I believe the signs Jesus has given us, are occurring more and more with each passing day. Some scientists will say it’s “due course” that it was time for these things to occur.

But let us not believe in man. Let us believe in Our Savior Jesus Christ, because he has said when these things begin to pass, our redemption is near. Amen!

Luke 21:26-28

People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.
