Arab journalist: Gaza’s problem is not Israel

May 7, 2011

Oppression felt by local Arab Palestinians in Gaza is caused by fellow Arabs, and not Israel.

A kite festival on the beach, in an area where people is supposed not to have enough food?

This is a report from a journalist i Egypt’s Al-Ahram daily newspaper.

The article confirmed what a small handful of Western reporters have had the integrity to reveal of late: Gaza really isn’t under siege, and that any oppression felt by local Arab Palestinians is caused by fellow Arabs, and not Israel.

In stark contrast to regular Western media reports of widespread deprivation and destitution in Gaza, Ashraf Abu al-Houl reported that “a sense of absolute prosperity prevails, as manifested by the grand resorts along and near Gaza’s coast.”

Al-Houl also wrote that “the sight of the merchandise and luxuries filling Gaza shops amazed me.“Not only that, but al-Houl quickly discovered that most goods can be bought in Gaza for much cheaper than in Egypt because in Gaza “supply is much greater than demand.”

In other words, Israel is not causing an economic or humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

If there is no food in town, I guess its better to chill out on the beach?

There is reports of widespread poverty in Gaza. But this is the product of corruption and a wide gap between the “haves” and “have-nots.”

Al-Houl interviewed political activist Mustafa Ibrahim, who noted that around 20 percent of Gazans control nearly all the wealth in the territory, and nearly all of them are affiliated closely with the ruling Hamas movement. The wealthy Gazans invest heavily in the leisure industry and spend lavishly, while charging outrageous fees for basic luxuries like visiting local beaches.

Among the rest of the population, unemployment is approximately 45 percent. Those those are the Gazans constantly featured by the Western media as the products of so-called “Israeli oppression.”

Translation of the article was provided by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

My comment:

When an Arab raise accusations against a Jew, it is all but normal. But if an Arab journalist try to tell us that the Jews are not the culprits, we better pay attention.

What is the situation in Gaza?

Is it possible that the TV-images we receive only display the”political correctness”, selected to defame Israel?

Would Hamas ever get International support for their Jihad against Israel, if the World did not believe there was a humanitarian crisis in Gaza?

There has to be some rubble here and there, so the media will buy the Islamic story.

The images from Darfur in Sudan, is an example of a Humanitarian crisis, created by an Islamic state.

What will be natural side effects of a humanitarian crisis? How will the misery manifest it self in the culture and society?

Can there be luxury, peace, joy on the beaches of a society “crippled” by a claimed humanitarian crisis?

Again, the truth lies in the pudding. Lets take a look at some fresh pictures, from the beaches of Gaza. Do not look at each single picture. But try to get the full picture.

These kids have been fed by United Nations since 1967. It looks they have lots of energy.

The kids of Gaza jumps from the Humanitarian crisis into the ocean.

On empty stomach, they enjoy and playing in the water.

Even the police horses in Gaza seems to be having enough food and proper shelters.

It does not seems to be a dogs life on the beaches of Gaza.

Look at this old black and white picture. Before Israel was forced to leave Gaza, even the females could play football.

During a humanitarian crisis, civil society and government institutions collapses. But fisheries and business in Gaza seems to prosper for those who support Hamas.

An Hamas summer camp on the beach. There seems to be no lack of anything.

In the midst of a claimed to be Humanitarian crisis, there seems to be people living like every day is a feast.

Pakistani’s burn US flags as they pray for bin Laden

May 7, 2011

These were the angry scenes across Pakistan today as Muslims staged protests against the killing of Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden.

Prayer sessions were held across Pakistan for Bin Laden.

Hundreds of people marched through Multan, burning U.S. flags and waving placards as they warned the terrorist’s death could produce many more radical figures to take his place.

It comes after crowds of weeping mourners were pictured offering funeral prayers for the Al Qaeda mastermind widely blamed for thousands of deaths at 9/11.

They will heap further pressure on the British government to justify the £650million aid package sent to a country where so many appear to hate us.

Only today Lashkar-e-Taiba – the militants behind the Mumbai terror attack – said Bin Laden’s ‘martyrdom’ would not be in vain.

David Cameron has insisted it is in Britain’s national interest to continue to co-operate with Pakistan in the fight against terrorism as debate intensified over a £650m aid package handed the country just weeks ago.

The Prime Minister said there were ‘searching questions’ for the Pakistani government to answer after U.S. special forces tracked down the Al Qaeda leader to a large villa complex close to the country’s leading military academy.

My Comment:

That the Pakistani people pray for a dead man (bin Laden) and believed he died a martyr is one big false delusion fueled by the allah lie, created by Satan. It is a sin to pray to for or even consult the dead.

Deuteronomy 18:11-13

Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.  Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD; because of these same detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you.  You must be blameless before the LORD your God.

The bible tells us that after death, is when judgment begins.

Hebrew 9:27

And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.

There are those who have rejoiced in the death of bin Laden, and have said he deserved to die. But I say, that Jesus Christ died for everyone’s sins, and yes believe me when I say if bin Laden had repented before his death, truly from his heart, Our Messiah who is so great would have forgiven him.

1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Do not be like those who rejoice in death, but pray for the Muslims, Catholics, Hindus, and all those who do not know Jesus Christ, Pray for those to come to know Him, so that they may be found in the kingdom of Heaven.

Revelation 20:12-15

And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

UN Rights head demands details on the “Osama-story”

May 7, 2011

UN human rights chief Navi Pillay on Thursday called for “a full disclosure of the accurate facts”.

Indian US Rights head Navi Pillay is not convinced the US gave Osama fair treatments, as International laws requires.

Navi Pillay see a need to determine the legality of the killing of Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. “I’m still for a full disclosure of the accurate facts,” Pillay told reporters in Oslo.

“I think it’s not just my office but anybody is entitled to know exactly what happened,” she added.

Pillay’s declarations come a day after US Attorney General Eric Holder told a Senate hearing the raid during which bin Laden was killed “was lawful and consistent with our values.”

“The United Nations condemns terrorism but it also has basic rules of how counter-terrorism activity has to be carried out. It has to be in compliance with international law,” she said.

“For instance, you’re not allowed (…) to commit torture or extra-judicial killings,” she explained.

The White House’s changing story over the attack has raised doubts about US assurances that the US special operations forces sent to bin Laden’s lair in the Pakistani garrison town of Abbottabad were prepared to take him alive.

“If he had surrendered, I think — attempted to surrender — I think we should, obviously, have accepted that,” Holder told the Senate committee.

My comment:

How many people believe, that 20 US Navy seals are not capable of arresting an unarmed Muslim in his bedroom in Pakistan?

There might have been given an order, from US President Obama: “Shoot this man”.

If so: What does such an order make President Obama?

What about bringing Obama on trial for manslaughter?

Anyone who would like to point their fingers towards Mossad, who bring Hamas terrorists to silence in similar manners?

As a follower of Jesus I will say:

If Osama is dead, well and good. But I am not so sure what took place in this bed room in a villa, hardly 800 meters from the Military Academy of Pakistan.

But what I am pretty sure of is this:

Obama and his administration has not told us the truth about how Osama was sent towards his eternal dwelling place, to face judgment for his life in sin.

Only Jesus could have, and can save Him. If it pleases Him.  Just like in my case.  I have to ask Him for mercy and grace. He has promised to always love Me, if I continue to love Him
