Men like Mike Murdock exists to make a buck off anyone who care to believe in the lies spewing from his mouth.

Mike Murdock promises 3-months of miracles and uncommon blessing to those who give the $1,000 seed. Murdock believes in 7 laws, that is his 7 laws. They are: law of difference, law of the mind, law of recognition, law of 2, law of place, law of honor, and law of seed.
What do you need to expose Mike Murdock as a false prophet? Just one thing; the Holy Word of God. Let’s compare just some of Murdock’s lies to the Bible.
1. The law of seed: Murdock says: “Our offerings to God are seeds that produce a harvest. There are many types of seeds in our life. Honor is the seed for access, kindness is a seed, time is a seed, love is a seed, teaching is a seed, giving is a seed. This law is to work in the financial arena as well.”
My Comment:
Listed on Murdock’s websites are comments from people who believe in Murdock’s law of seed. Sandra of Tulsa OK says:
“ When I was at your meeting in Dallas, I planted a $58 Seed. In 58 days, I received a receipt stating that my rent was paid in full throughout the lease of six months. Looking forward to seeing you.”

To give an offering and to expect something in return is not giving you’re your heart. Financial gain is nothing, if you do not accept Jesus Christ as your Savior.
The Word of God is the standard Christ wants us to live by. Jesus Christ has always provided me with the basics, and as long as I have my Savior, I am content with my lot in life. I expect no monetary gain in return.
1 Timothy 6:6-10
Now there is great gain in godliness with contentment, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.
But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
2. The law of place: Murdock says:
“Where you are is as important as what you are. Jesus, who had to leave his hometown and preach elsewhere to be recognized. When you are where you belong, your genius emerges. So it behooves us to consider whether we are where we need to be, and if not, where is that place.”
My Comment:
This remark of Jesus is completely blasphemous and a complete lie.
To even suggest that Jesus left to be “recognized” is the same as saying Jesus is vain. Murdock has a lot to answer for when he stands in front of Jesus Christ someday soon.
The truth is Jesus Christ left Nazareth, when he heard that John had been put in prison. Matthew 4 tells us that from around that time Jesus began to preach, saying: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
Matthew 4: 17
From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
My advice to Murdock would be the same as My Savior’s. Repent, for Christ is coming very soon, and the bible tells us that, “Every knee shall bow and confess to God.”
Romans 16:17-18
I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.

I am sure you have the best of intentions, but who are you to judge whether Mike Murdock, or anybody else for that matter, is right or wrong in his beliefs? There is a judgement coming for all of us, coming from someone who is infinately more qualified to pass judgement than you are. It is a proven fact that no two people understand the Bible in exactly the same way. That is why there are many different types of religion based on the Bible.
There is a country song that says that if you don’t stand up for something, you will fall for anything. As long as a person believes in something, even if its different from what you believe, good things can come out of it. Religion in general gives a person a specific something to believe, and that is what every human needs. Miracles can happen if somebody, somewhere believes that they can. I have seen it happen many times.

I just found an envelope on my desk from a gentleman going to Bulgaria to preach the gospel and build homes for the poor. I want to be a part of that Harvest knowing I cant go. I tell you Lewis, that I know of a Pastor, who is a poor man, and he went to a country and preached the Word of God. A blind man who had been blind from infancy said: Heal me. The Pastor said: Do you believe in Jesus? The blind man said: If you believe, then yes. In the name of Jesus Christ, Lewis this blind man was healed and could see. There was no money exchanged, no “seed” exchanged, just faith in the Word of God.

Gloria, I agree with that statement as Murdock’s ministry has a very dismal record of what “his ministry” has done with the money and that is public information anyone can verify.

God does not need the faith of the receiver to bless him. I am not saved by my faith in my faith. That is the problem with Word of Faith teachers. They becomes mediums, claims “God needs to work through them”. God of the Bible let the sun shine on both the righteous and the wicked. Come out of your shadow, and you will see this.
Elijah was fed by a raven. Who put His seed in the raven?
Jesus asked his students, to open the mouth of a fish, and pay their taxes. Who put “a seed” inside the fish?

As best I can tell — Murdock is (at bare minimum) spending much money on his internet appearance. Additionally, he seems to be working to secure his most powerful allies and those who are his best supporters. I am interested to see what he does next.
I am sure he (and others) are not comfortable right now. This is for two reasons.
1) I am not one to back down and I am not praying for favor (I am praying for nothing less than the will of the Lord in my decisions).
2) Perhaps equally as dangerous — What I have to say is not just shocking — it is true.

His spirit is already coming into your living room, if you accept this kind of false anointing.

I wanted to share that about 10 years ago i stop watching christian television because they would start a message and interrupt it and ask the viewer to pay through credit cards if they wanted to finish watching the message. i am a believer of God, i not only go to church but strive to be a good christian in my everyday life. couple of weeks ago, i decided to watch televangelistic programs once again and i found Dr. Murdock preaching about wisdom. i really found his message to be instructive and i follow to the end until when he started asking for the $1000 seed, i have to say i felt tempted to call, but then i saw this pressure that he continued to say “go, go ,go hurry up, get to the phone, right now, don’t miss this opportunity” and he kept rushing viewers to get to the phone to make the seed, it really looked like an informercial instead. i belive in the power of given YES we should give to the needy, but God also said we should give with our heart when we give we should be happy but Murdock contradicts this, he said that when we give we dont feel good about it. Well we cannot contradict Gods word God said if we give and we are not happy he tells that we should take our gift back because he will NOT bless anything that dont come from our hearts, therefore we will be giving in vain.
II CORINTHIANS 9:7 “EVERY MAN ACCORDING AS HE PURPOSETH IN HIS HEART, SO LET HIM GIVE; NOT GRUDGINGLY, OR OF NECESSITY: FOR GOD LOVETH A CHEERFUL GIVER”
so dr. murdock should NOT contradict God’s word. because God blesses those who give cheerfully. i want to encourage people NOT to stop giving but be aware of the wolves. Giving is biblical, but we have to be wise as a serpent and gentle as the dove when it comes to people demanding for money.
oh by the way couple of days ago Dr. Murdock was not asking for $1000 he was asking for $7500.00 to 70 people and yes promising all of the good stuff!

I am the son of a Baptist Minister, God rest his soul, and from the time I was old enough to understand, I watched him struggle with the finances of the church. Ministers of any kind have more overhead than you have considered, and when God blesses them with material things, small or large, a true believer of the scripture will be happy for him to have them. A minister is your conduit, your direct access to God. He brings you the truth, and tells you what God directs him to tell you. Don’t shoot the messenger! Use that brain for more than a hatrack! You will do well to keep your words sweet, because you may be eating them sooner than you know!

You are right. We all have to pay our bills. Also those who gift money to Christian ministry’s and World wide missions. The question is not about the need for money, but the promises of financial returns.
Have Jesus promised 30,60 and 100 times return on money given to any of his students?
Lets look at the Bible verses used:

I am sometimes amazed, that this verse is used to pray for multiple return of cash. Why do not the same money-peddles pray that more Christians are thrown out of their houses, because they have refused to bow before idols?

You have to twist these Bible verses, to be able to use them to collect money, by promising high financial returns.

Benny Hinn, John Hagee, my self and you have one thing in common. We are all created beings, sinners who commit mistakes. Also after we have been saved. I do not excuse sin, but know there is a living God who pardon sin, if we repent.
I might even teach not correctly once in a while. Than I need people who love me enough around me, people who will rebuke med and correct me in love. I do not agree with all john Hagee teach, and specially his Word of Faith doctrines, and claim that poverty is a curse. But I do acknowledge that he is one of the most prominent Christian teachers who support Israel. Like Hagee, I am a Christian Zionist.
Thank`s for the link Ivarfjeld, this is typical benny hin stuff. a new`s team followed him in the usa, he went to other countrys, ha stayed in 35 hundred dollar a night rooms, he took his staff on expensive shopping sprees letting them spend thousands of dollars, he does this so he can keep them on his side, cameras caught up with hin, he was being pretty cocky with the reporters, but when he was told he was on camera, he was ready to go as fast as he could get away. anyone should know when benny hin blows on someone and they fall down, then when they stand up they are well as though was ever wrong. if these healings are so real, then why don`t you see an arm or a legg restored, not that`s a healing that can`t be faked, but the truth is, benny hin is a fake. not one prophecy that hin has given has come to pass, not a single one. earl camping say`s may 21st 2011 is the end of the world, another false prophet, he was wrong before when he set a date and he will be wrong this time, watch and see. i wish everyone had the disearnment to see through all these false prophets, it`s really not that hard, just listen and check behind them.
See benny hin pulls in 200 million dollars a year, so he can afford to let his staff spend a few thousand dollars, mere pocket change, besides it was`nt his to start with, he conned it out of the unaware. and benny hin is friends with john hagee. if benny hin is such a great healer, then why when john hagee had heart surgery 2 year`s ago, why did`nt he have hin to pray for him and get a healing so he would`nt have to have surgery? if that was to hard for hin here is an easier one. why don`t hagee have hin to pray to heal his eyes so he does`nt have to wear glassess? also hin wears contacts, how come hin can`t get a healing for his own eyes, he get`s healings for everyone else, only problem is they are fake healings. mr hagee say`s give to the poor, then why did he buy an 8000 acre ranch that cost near 4 million dollars? give some of that to the poor.

If you have not given a dollar to Benny Hinn Ministry, you should not be concerned about how Benny Hinn spend money others have given him.
You should rather be concerned about how you spend your own money. Do you obey what Jesus command from His students?
I must in a similar way, be concerned about how I spend the money Jesus have put me as a caretaker of. And the full NTM-team have to think likewise.
Jesus do not permit us to waist money, nor to neglect the poor. If we store up riches on Earth, we will face the same problem as a camel who tries to make it through the eye of the needle. That is obviously very close to impossible.
The link is interesting, i have all kind`s of video on hin, i got it off of the webb. hin said GOD could`nt do a thing on the earth without first getting permission, you know the guy is a nut to say that..hin is filthy rich, he has an 8 million dollar home with an ocean view. but if i had to get it the way he got it i would sure have to pass.
For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul.
If God were to take everything away from these men you talk about, All their money and material things, I wonder if the only thing that was left for them was the Jesus they speak of, if he would be enough. These men ,all of them in my eyes are Wolves in sheeps clothing. We were warned not to watchout for the wolves. They are obvious. We are warned to watch out for the wolves who look like sheep. I personally would not give a dime to any of them.
Also, Paul said in his letter to the Corinthians. Unlike many we do not peddle the gospel for profit. I believe that statement carries with it a negative implication towards making a profit and or getting rich from the gospel. These men are getting their reward here. Their minds are on worldly things.
I believe only part of what Mr.Murdock has said and written. I do not need and follow his (58USD) Money-Wisdom at all. I do not envy his BMW´s, villa or jets because nothing of these can we take with us into eternity.
Mike Murdock is a deceiver who uses the Word of God to his benefit.
Romans 16:17 I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.

You give your money to your local church and you don,t have to give your money to a mega church that cost Millon of dollars to run.
I do not like any falseness, though; we must admit that hearing scriptures explained correctly by people, even those such as Kenneth Copeland and others, that it has helped bring many to the Lord. However, it is good that after one is brought to the Lord they get more knowledgeable and can spot the falseness. Again, I am glad for the times when I heard the word before I was saved, even from a money grubber.

I do not know for sure, but I truly hope that these people who have come to accept Jesus Christ by hearing Mike Murdock have learned to adhere only to the bible, and not to man.

I do not want to be branded as a donkey. Would you? God of the Bible can use not righteous people all the time. Like me. But I do not cheat the flock I have been called to shepherd, and peddle the gospel for money.
There are thousands of people visiting News That Matters every day. I do not mind donations. But I will not promise you cash returns. But I will pray that you will receive all kind of heavenly blessings. Also enough money to live a decent life, while you are here on Earth, being able to pay your bills.
Lord Jesus also give us more than we need, so we have enough for all kinds of good deeds, He has called us to do. Amen.

What does this tell you about Mike Murdock’s fans??
If people read their whole bible from Genesis to Revelation, word for word without one word out of place they would know just how much these Prosperity preachers are spinning and twisting the bible out of context! Read it for yourself so you can know when they are not putting their own spin on it.

Notice it didn’t say – what the Preachers are saying. So when they preach, we ought to allow the Spirit of God to interpret His message to us accordingly.

Mike Murdock is selling the free blessings of God for cash dollars. Jesus paid in full for our daily grace and blessings on the Cross. Mike Murdock has no authority to sell the free gift of God’s daily blessings. I wish Jesus would kick the Merchants out again like he did in the New Testament Gospel of John. Mike Murdock fools bible illiterates who fail to understand their New Covenant of Grace.
I don’t believe for a minute that God’s best is poverty for His children. I do believe that we don’t have to make a “ritual” out of getting our needs met from our Heavenly Father. There is no process or program, we need to walk humbly, love mercy and do rightly and we’ll be fine. Rich is a relative term. Each one of us comes from a different perspective and wealth is defined by that perspective. Prosperity is another thing, we are told we will prosper, be in health even as our souls prosper…amen. We, as the body of Christ, must be content with what we have and share as much of what we have with those who are in need and those who are preaching Christ crucified, dead and coming again. We must work while it is day for the night is coming. His sheep hear His voice and unless I hear to the contrary and I have something I can share, I do cheerfully and know that He will do what He has to meet my needs. I try to keep it simple, God blesses us, blessings we can expect from a loving parent; and we continue by blessing others, so forth and so on. I am 66 years old and have never missed a meal because of lack, never left homeless, never had to sleep in a frigid room or on a cold floor, and have never seen my family suffer the same. I trust that my Father God takes care of me and my family just like my earthly father took care of his family. I didn’t have to beg my earthly father to go to work so we wouldn’t starve or lose our place of abode. It was understood by us children that our father loved us, was responsible and trustworthy and we never gave that a second thought. How much more does our Heavenly Father love us, His children. “… I have never seen the righteous forsaken or God’s chosen begging bread…” Please my brothers and sisters keep your eyes on the Lord and work unto Him. Trust in the Lord, He is faithful to us even when we are not faithful.
Paul identifies false teachers as those who deny the sacrifice and person of Jesus. As far as I can tell, Mike preaches those like Paul. So you don’t like his teaching. Does that make him a false teacher??
