More hick ups from the Pope will silence critics of Islam

“Pope Benedict has repeatedly addressed Islam negatively, more than once.”

There are so many peaceful Muslims that comes to the Vatican. Will the present Pope ever learn that he has to protect them?

This is a statement signed by Al Azhar’s Islamic Research Academy Secretary General Sheikh Ali Abdel Dayem.

The pre-eminent institute of Islamic learning in the Sunni Muslim world said Thursday it is freezing its dialogue with the Vatican to protest Pope Benedict XVI’s recent remarks calling for the protection of Christians in Egypt.

The move from Cairo’s Al Azhar comes as Muslim-Christian tensions have been rising in Egypt following the new year’s bombing on a Coptic Christian church in Alexandria that killed 21 people.

Vatican spokesman Rev. Federico Lombardi said the Holy See’s council for inter-religious dialogue remains committed to dialogue.
“This succession of attacks is yet another sign of the urgent need for the governments of the region to adapt, in spite of difficulties and dangers,” the Pope said in a speech January 10 to diplomats.

Sheikh Ahmed Al Tayyib, the imam of Al Azhar, also blasted the Pope’s remarks, saying at the time that the “protection of Christians is an internal affair and should be carried out by the governments as they [the Christians] are their citizens like other citizens”.

My comment:

The Pope simply has to stop criticizing Islamic states, if he wants to become head of the One World religion. The present Pope has more than once been like an elephant in a china store, creating problems for the Global peace makers.

The Pope must understand that Islam is the only violent peace movement on the Earth.

The Pope needs to learn from Obama, who brand Islam a “great religion of peace”. The White House do not longer wage war on Islam and evil, but are battling “extremism”.

And as Obama have said, such evil exist inside all religions. The true global peacemakers are above religion, a religion of their own, the only good there is.

UN Chief urges false “Peace Agreement” for Israel

The United Nations political affairs chief on Thursday warned the Security Council of developments in Israeli-Palestinian talks and in Lebanon which have heightened tensions in the region.

Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs, B. Lynn Pascoe.

“As a new year begins, hopefully one of progress in Middle East peacemaking, several challenges are present,” said the Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs, B. Lynn Pascoe, at an open debate of the Council on the situation in the Middle East.

“We are seriously concerned at the continuing lack of progress in the search for a negotiated settlement. Peace and Palestinian statehood cannot be further delayed.”

Regarding Gaza, Mr. Pascoe voiced extreme concern over the situation in the past month, including an increase in tensions.

“We condemn the indiscriminate firing of projectiles towards Israeli civilian areas by Palestinian militants,” Mr. Pascoe told the Council members. “We equally stress that all parties must refrain from actions contrary to international humanitarian law which target or endanger civilians. A new outbreak of major hostilities would be devastating and must be avoided.”

On relations between Israel and Syria, Mr. Pascoe expressed regret over the lack of progress in the effort to promote peace between the two countries, despite continuing contacts by diplomatic actors, and noted that resolution of the conflict between the two countries is critical for regional stability.

The United Nations never misses an opportunity to damage the Jewish State.

My comments;

There is an old saying that even a stopped clock is right twice a day. The UN has a long history of hostility to Israel but even this corrupt organization can see that the Hamas terrorist militia which rules the Gaza Strip is wrong to launch missiles at unarmed civilians in Israel.

That having been said, the UN is, as usual, looking for a “solution” which will in fact only bring more problems. The establishment of a Palestinian State in Judea and Samaria (known to most of the world as the “West Bank”) would not bring peace because it would not remain in place for more than a few weeks.

The Palestinian Authority that the UN, US and EU have poured so much time, money, effort and energy into building up, with the hope that it will someday be able to govern a future Palestinian State, will be quickly overthrown by Hamas, just as Hamas kicked them out of Gaza in 2007.

The only solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the only thing which will bring peace to the Holy Land, is when the Prince of Peace, Yeshua Ha’Mashiach (Jesus Christ) is reigning in the hearts of the people who live there. This is also the only way there will ever be peace anywhere in the world, because the human race won’t be at peace with itself until it is at peace with its Creator.

Christian Family Separated by New Jersey Agency

Army Major John Jackson and his wife Carolyn, devout Christian homeschoolers with a history of serving as adoptive and foster parents, had their five children taken away in April 2010 by the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services – and despite the collapse of the evidence against the Jacksons, DYFS hasn’t returned the children to their parents.

During the course of a nine-month legal battle to regain custody of their children, the Jacksons say they have encountered prejudice against their religion and homeschooling as they fight a state agency determined to see the children adopted by strangers no matter what the evidence says.

According to the Jacksons, DYFS employees, contractors and foster parents alike have demonstrated anti-religious bias, including one case supervisor who refused to allow the Jacksons to pray with their children as they wished, for the reunification of the family.

“You can pray about other things, you can pray that they’ll be happy in their placements,” said a DYFS worker identified by Jackson as Denise Hollerbach.

Jackson accuses DYFS of fraudulently misrepresenting statements by himself and his children to build a case against him, “brainwashing” the children by telling them they have been abused and “isolating” them by not allowing them to be assessed independently by U.S. Army investigators.

The father of five claims DYFS suppressed a medical report concluding that injuries suffered by daughter Chaya Jackson could not be proven with “medical certainty” to have resulted from child abuse. Dr. Mark S. Finkelstein of the Alfred I. Dupont Hospital for Children wrote, “It is equally possible that this injury may have occurred in or around the time of birth or in the later post-neonatal period” – before Chaya was adopted by the Jacksons.”

My Comment:

The NJ Division of Youth and Family Services have a lot to answer for: the main question being why this corrupt service has not returned these children back to their parents. The lack of evidence against the Jackson parents should at least warrant another fresh look at the case, or an outside unbiased party.   

In retrospect, Chaya Jacks their daughter has suffered abuse. But Dr. Mark S. Finkelstein has stated: “It is equally possible that this injury may have occurred in or around the time of birth or in the later post-neonatal period” – before Chaya was adopted by the Jacksons.”

What struck a warning bell for me was that DFYS employees have not allowed these parents to pray with their children. Now it begs the question are the Jackson going through a form of persecution as stated in the Holy Word of God? Let’s take a look at what Christ Our Lord says.

1 Peter 4:12-14, 16 

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.

As a Believer in Christ, we must take a stand against the unbelievers. They will us any persecution against you, sometimes even death. But the Bible tells us that our reward is great in heaven. Let’s prepare ourselves by praying and reading God’s Word, and getting close to Christ. Rough times will occur more and more often, but Our Savior has prevailed in all.

Pakistan on the verge of catastrophic meltdown

Pakistan is struggling to maintain stability while trying to cope with a shaky economy, wobbly politics, and emboldened domestic terrorism.

Pakistan is on the verge of being the world's first failed nuclear weapons state.

Pakistan remains beset by security, economic, and political troubles that have caused leading analysts to voice deep concern about the country’s stability.

Stephen Cohen of the Council on Foreign Relations says Pakistan’s woes do not necessarily mean the country is on the verge of collapse, but adds that there are very worrisome trends.

“It’s not necessarily on the road to disintegration,” he said. “But all of the trend lines are negative. I can’t think of many positive ones. And, of course, the floods and the assassinations and the sectarian violence and the bad economy contribute to this.”

“The politicians we are dealing with are weak, corrupt, and, more often than not, ineffective. But they are the best of bad alternatives,” lamented Former CIA officer Bruce Riedel.

The country is recovering from the recent destructive floods, electric power outages are widespread, prices are rising, and inflation is hovering at over 15 per cent – all of which, analysts say, are further fueling anti-government sentiment.

When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be frightened; those things must take place; but that is not yet the end.

Pakistan is only one of many countries in the world with weak governments on the verge of losing control of their own people. But what makes Pakistan’s case much more dangerous is that it possesses Nuclear weapons and is a base for many of the world’s most virulent Muslim extremist organizations.

When you combine these two facts, it is not hard to imagine that Pakistan could easily become the source of the world’s first nuclear terrorist attack.

The only gleam of hope in this situation is the tiny but vibrant Bible believing church in Pakistan. There is no way for us to know how many they are, but we must pray for them daily, that they will have strength and courage to spread the Gospel among their neighbors and that they will stay strong in their faith even as they face persecution and hardship.

Pakistani Mob Stone Child to Death

KARACHI (AFP) – The lifeless bodies of two tiny babies are being given their final bath before burial in Karachi, after they were left to die in the southern Pakistani city’s garbage dumps.

“They can only have been one or two days old,” says volunteer worker Mohammad Saleem, pointing at the two small corpses being gently washed by his colleagues at a charity’s morgue.

In the conservative Muslim nation, where the birth of children outside of marriage is condemned and adultery is a crime punishable by death under strict interpretations of Islamic law, infanticide is a crime on the rise.

More than 1,000 infants — most of them girls — were killed or abandoned to die in Pakistan last year according to conservative estimates by the Edhi Foundation, a charity working to reverse the grim trend.

The infanticide figures are collected only from Pakistan’s main cities, leaving out huge swathes of the largely rural nation, and the charity says that in December alone it found 40 dead babies left in garbage dumps and sewers.

The number of dead infants found last year — 1,210 — was up from 890 in 2008 and 999 in 2009, says the Edhi Foundation manager in Karachi, Anwar Kazmi.

Kazmi recounts the discovery of the burnt body of a six-day-old infant who had been strangled. Another child was found on the steps of a mosque having been stoned to death on the orders of an extremist imam who has since disappeared, he says.

“Do not murder, lay them here,” reads a sign hanging outside the charity’s Karachi base where it has left cradles in the hope that parents will abandon their unwanted children there, instead of leaving them to die.

“People leave these children mostly because they think they are illegitimate, but they are as innocent and loveable as all human beings,” says the charity’s founder, well-known humanitarian Abdul Sattar Edhi.

Most children found are less than a week old.

The media calls Pakistan a conservative Muslim nation. But what lies in some parts of Pakistan are women and men with cold hearts. To murder children and babies, and then leave them in dumpsters and garbage is a crime against humanity. This comes from the devil himself.

The word murderer is listed several times in God’s Word.

Matthew 15:19

Our Savior Jesus Christ will soon arrive, and with Him comes judgment. To stone a child to death is incomprehensible. But even then Jesus Christ is so great, that if you repent, he will forgive you. If you do not repent, the bible says exactly where you’ll go.

Revelation 21:8

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Arab leaders reject “Foreign Interference”

Arab leaders on Wednesday voiced their “total rejection” of foreign interference in Arab affairs, especially over the region’s Christian minorities.

These Arab leadres would be thrown out by their own people very quickly if not for the "foreign interference" they say they don't want.

“Arab kings and presidents… express their total rejection of attempts by certain states and foreign parties to intervene in Arab affairs in the name of protecting the minorities of the East,” they said in a final statement after the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit in Egypt. This “demonstrates a regrettable lack of understanding of the nature of the terrorist acts… and a harmful ignorance of the history of the people of the region.”

Arab leaders said they opposed “any foreign attempt to interfere in Arab affairs under any pretext, or using events to tarnish the image of Islam and Muslims, or to sow sectarianism between Muslims and Christians.”

My comments;

For these autocrats to reject “foreign interference” is beyond absurd. None of them would stay in power for even one day if their patrons in Washington, London, Moscow and Paris stopped “interfering” in their countries by providing them with the weapons, money and expertise they could never produce themselves and which they need as much as they need the very air they breathe.

So this statement rejecting “foreign interference” is meaningless except as a reminder that Christians in Arab countries should not expect help from any earthly kingdom. Their governments won’t be persuaded by outside pressure to respect their freedom of religion or human rights.

As I have said before on this blog, the Arab Christians are giving us all a great example of how we need to stop looking to governments and other things we pledge allegiance to in THIS WORLD for our help, and get serious about looking to Yeshua Ha’Mashiach (Jesus Christ) as the only source of our hope and strength.
