Dailaj Lama to preach in Swedish Church

January 6, 2011

The Lund Cathedral in southern Sweden has invited the head of Buddhism to preach a Sunday in April.

The World head of Buddhism is going to teach the Swedes how to get saved.

Tibetan Buddhism’s highest leader, the Dalai Lama, is set to visit Sweden in April and has been booked in to take part in a service in Lund Cathedral in southern Sweden. This is according to a report in the Church of Sweden newspaper Kyrkans Tidning.

The visit is planned for April 15th-17th and will include stops in Lund and Stockholm, and could well be the last visit by the current Dalai Lama to Sweden after his announcement that he plans to retire to his home in Dharamsala, India.

The Lama has been invited to Sweden by the charitable organisation Individuell Människöhjälp (IM) whose chairperson, Håkan E Wilhelmsson, is also the dean of Lund Cathedral.

“He is one of the people who the whole worl respects as a spokesperson for the whole of humankind,” Wilhelmsson told the newspaper. “It is a great pleasure for us in Sweden to receive him.”

Wilhelmsson told the Christian daily Dagen that he sees no problem in a Buddhist leader taking part in a protestant church service.

“Everyone, regardless of religious or political beliefs, looks up to him… In every continent there are buildings for people to seek something beyond themselves, in Sweden it is the churches, in other parts of the world, other religious houses,” he said.

IM has had a long cooperation with the Dalai Lama, ever since they offered him support after his flight from Tibet after the invasion by Chinese forces in the end of the 1950s.

My comment:

Yesterday, I wrote about Sweden giving in to Islamic demands, and enforcing Sharia Laws inside the sport sector.

Today’s story is that “Christians” in Sweden allows the head of the Buddhist religion, to preach in a central Church within the Lutheran movement.

There seems to be no limits on the speed of the New One World Religion in Sweden. The Lutheran Kingdom is on its way into the abyss.

Moslem media sees “Mossad Plots” Everywhere

January 6, 2011

Reports in Arab media have the Israeli Intelligence Agency, the Mossad, being responsible for a wide variety of sinister plots, including some events which are acts of nature and others which are entirely benign.

The Saudi Police have caught a dangerous Israeli spy

Saudi Arabia claimed on Tuesday to have captured a “Mossad spy vulture” wearing a bracelet marked “Tel Aviv University.” While Israeli scientists say the bird was part of a migration study, local residents told the Saudi media that it was most likely part of a “Zionist plot.” Speculation then took off on Saudi websites that Israeli intelligence was training the birds as part of an espionage mission.

Five swimmers were attacked (one fatally) by a shark on Egypt’s Red Sea coast near Sharm El Sheik in recent months. An expert identified as “Captain Mustafa Ismail, a famous diver in Sharm el-Sheikh,” claimed that ocean sharks don’t naturally live off of Egypt’s coast and that someone must have introduced them to those waters. Ismail claimed that a diver friend in the Israeli resort city of Eilat had recently found a small shark with a GPS tag on its back, indicating that it was being sent to infiltrate the Egyptian coastline.

Elements of Iranian intelligence recently told the press in that country that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is an asset of Western intelligence agencies, passing information on to the U.S. and Israeli governments and plotting to destabilize the Islamic Republic.

According to a report on Iran’s state-owned Press TV, an Israeli security company arranged for Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab to board a plane in Amsterdam without a passport so he could “fake” the December 2009 underwear bombing attempt. An “Indian man” was evidently instrumental in arranging Abdulmutallab’s passage, which is no surprise since “Israel and India are very close business partners, especially via their military contracts,” noted the report.

My comments;

These stories are funny until we remember that there are tens of millions of people in the Muslim world who accept these anti-Israel conspiracy theories without question. The Koran tells them that Islam is the religion which should rule and dominate the world, and that Jews, Christians and all others should be subservient to them.

Since this is obviously not the case, they need to find an alternative explanation of why things are the way they are.  That’s why they are so open to ridiculous conspiracy theories like these ones, and it feeds their continued unreasoning hatred for Jews and the State of the Jews.

Anyone who talks about the possibility of “peace” between Israel and the Muslim world, and not just a cessation of armed hostilities between Israel and Arab governments, will have to address how they intend to undo decades of this kind of thinking in the populations of these countries.

Egypt rejects Iranian donations sent for Gaza

January 6, 2011

The Indian aid convoy from Gaza, got stuck in the Egyptian sea port of Al-Arish.

Egypt is not letting the "Asia 1" convoy enter Gaza. Still many will put the blame on Israel.

An informed source told IRNA here Monday night resorting to baseless excuses, Egypt is refusing from issuing a permit to unload the cargo of a ship containing contributions of Asian nations to Gaza residents.

The source who spoke on condition of anonymity added in his exclusive interview with IRNA, ‘Cairo has in addition to refusing from issuing an unloading permit, asks for paying a high demurrage fine for the period that the ship is banked at its Al-Arish Port, paying which is impossible.

The source who was at the time in direct contact with the ship crew reiterated, ‘The ship has been banked at the Egyptian port for 60 hours so far and since it was originally scheduled to be there only for 25 hours, the reserve of their food and water, too, may be diminishing soon”.

Members of the Asia One caravan were after arriving at the Egyptian port directed by the Egyptian officials to head for Gaza to express sympathy with the Gaza residents who have been under the Zionists’ inhumane siege for six years now.

Ten Iranian MPs accompanying the caravan were denied permits to leave the ship though.

The cargo of Asia One Ship, carrying the flag of Sierra Leon, was to be unloaded on Monday and forwarded to Gaza along with the entire caravan members.

The Asian Nations’ contributions include one thousand tons of medical, food, and relief contributions, as well as toys provided by 135 charity funds from 15 countries, including Iran, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey and some other Asian countries.

My comment:

if your bank goes bankrupt, blame it on the Jews.

The state of Israel has been blamed for everything from bad weather, to internal fighting in the Venezuelan government.

Iran has blamed Israel for creating a “Holocaust” in Gaza. But now the fiddler in Tehran, can no longer blame the Jews for stopping a “peaceful aid convoy”.

The Egyptian refusal to allow Iranian propaganda material flow into Gaza is understandable. A Iranian terrorist state at the border with Egypt, do neither profit Cairo, nor Jerusalem.

Last time a “British aid convoy” tried to enter Gaza from Egypt, these supporters of Islamic hooligans created a riot, and one Egyptian security officer was murdered.

The US, The EU and United Nations seems to be more than fit to send supplies into Gaza.

Than why should Egypt wish to have all this Iranian garbage at their door?

‘Wars and Rumors of Wars’

January 6, 2011

Tensions Continue On the Korean Peninsula

An insane dictator and his loyal troops.

Ambassador Stephen Bosworth, the U.S. special representative for North Korea policy, arrived in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, on Jan. 4, calling for “serious negotiations” to ease tensions over Pyongyang’s nuclear program and deadly attack on a South Korean island.

“We believe that serious negotiations must be at the heart of any strategy for dealing with North Korea and we look forward to being able to launch those at a reasonably early time,” he told reporters at the airport.

Cross-border tensions have been high since the North shelled a South Korean island on November 23, killing four people including two civilians. The North also raised security fears that month by disclosing a uranium enrichment plant to visiting U.S. experts.

South Korean marines and naval forces will hold joint war games this week to simulate an infiltration by North Korean troops.

The Chinese Dragon vs the Indian Tiger

Uneasy truce between the two emerging Asian giants

The soaring “Indian Tiger” facing the rising “Chinese Dragon” will eventually grow into two regional giants, both competing with rapidly dwindling strategic assets, vital for their survival, transforming the geopolitical landscape in the Asia-Pacific region – and challenging American hegemony as a global superpower.

The Chinese Navy’s recent seafaring activities and maneuvers have revealed Beijing’s intention to increase its control of the maritime sea lanes in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. The latter is an obvious cause of concern for India.

India’s quest to enhance its military potential, with active aid from Washington, could reignite a new  Indo-China Himalayan border war – with acute danger from its escalating into a terrifying regional nuclear-weapons conflict.

My comments;

Jesus said in Mark 13:7;

“When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be frightened; those things must take place; but that is not yet the end.”

North Korea is ruled by a dictator who is utterly insane and his generals and counselors are afraid to oppose him.  Because China and Russia have an interest in using North Korea for their own purposes, the US and its allies in East Asia can only flex their military muscles and hope that some of North Korea’s senior officials continue to exercise a restraining influence on the lunatic who has his finger on the trigger.

China, India and Pakistan are right next to each other, armed with nuclear weapons (they are soon to be joined by another highly unstable near neighbor, Iran) and they represent three political, cultural and religious systems that are mutually anathema to each other (Iran, which is a Shi’ite Muslim theocracy, represents a fourth system.) Conflict between them, which will draw in their neighbors, is almost a certainty.

As we move closer to the end of this age, “wars and rumors of wars” will increase in frequency and violence.  We must all be vigilant to pray for the protection of ourselves and our loved ones, and also to pray for our leaders to have the wisdom to deal with all of these crises.

Jesus promised us that this is all going somewhere, and we are to put our faith and hope in Him.

Prayer Beads Sold to Support Interfaith Harmony Week

January 6, 2011

On the United Nations-sponsored website, they are selling Interfaith prayer beads that can be used by most major religions: Buddhists, Muslims, Catholics and Hindus.

They are using the bead money to financially support World Interfaith Harmony Week.  Ironically, these beads are made in the Holy Land. They boast, their beads can even be used by non-religious as worry-beads to help decrease stress.

The UN explains the bead benefits on their sponsored website:

“Prayer beads can be found in various religious traditions: Muslims know them as misbaha, Hindus and Buddhists as japa mala, and Roman Catholics as rosaries. The essential purpose of praying and meditating with beads is to enable inner integration of mind and heart. As the beads move through one’s fingers, keeping track of the number of prayers or mantras being said, full spiritual consciousness is devoted to those meditations Prayer beads thus have physical, psychological and metaphysical effects on the people who use them. They can even be used in a secular context as ‘worry beads’ to relieve stress due to their calming effect.”

You can read more about these beads on the UN web site here.

My comment:

The UN’s attempt to bring all religions together as one is picking up speed. This agenda was sparked by the document “A Common Word” in which Christans and Muslims unite in inter-religious dialogue. You can read more on the document here.
