Jerusalem ‘eternal capital of Arab culture’

Traditional Palestinian folklore was showcased on Wednesday, Dec. 29, at the closing celebrations marking Jerusalem as an “eternal capital of Arab culture”.

The two-day festival, held at the Royal Cultural Centre, aimed to enshrine Jerusalem’s status as a permanent capital of Arab culture, according to organizers.

“What we did is the least we can do for Jerusalem, which is under siege from Israel and its allies. We need to tell Israel that Arabs and Muslims will never forget Jerusalem no matter what happens on the ground,” said Khalid Qouze, director of the festival preparation committee.

The Arab League named Jerusalem as the 2009 Arab Cultural Capital, but several organizations and activists have called on the league to adopt the city as an eternal capital of culture.

My comments;

The city of Jerusalem is mentioned more times in the Judeo-Christian Bible than any other place.  It is not mentioned even once in the Koran and in its entire history it was never an important city for “Arab Culture” until 1948 when all of a sudden it became important because Jews had political sovereignty over the Western part and then again in 1967 when a Jewish government gained full political  sovereignty over the united city.

Most Arabs and Muslims wouldn’t care about Jerusalem at all if there wasn’t a Jewish State with its capital there.

Some of the more interesting Biblical passages about Jerusalem include;

1 Kings 11:36
“And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light always before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me to put my name there.”

In this passage God very clearly spells out who Jerusalem belongs to and what its significance is.

In Zechariah 12:2, God warns that;

“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.”

God has enemies, and those enemies desperately want to subvert His plan for the salvation and the redemption of the Human Race through His Chosen People, the Jews.  They will do anything and everything they possibly can to disrupt those plans, but their end will be to be cast into the Lake of Fire to spend Eternity with Lucifer and his fallen angels.

Religious violence in Egypt

Egyptian religious leaders are working to maintain a precarious calm between Christians and Muslims after several days of angry demonstrations after Saturday’s church bombing in Alexandria.

A protest of Coptic Christians in Egypt

Eyewitnesses say a fragile calm prevails after overnight clashes between Coptic Christians and police in front of St. Mark’s Cathedral in Cairo, which is the headquarters of Coptic Pope Shenouda III. Dozens of police and protesters were reportedly wounded in the clashes.

Pope Shenoudu said everyone should reflect on what to do now in order to come to terms and prevent such events from repeating themselves. He stresses that such violence is new to Egypt.

Egyptian security forces have reportedly been deployed in front of many churches across the country to prevent further attacks. Angry Christians have been demanding the government take action to protect them. Al-Qaida terrorists have threatened more attacks on churches in Egypt, and other Arab countries on Coptic Christmas, this Friday. An al-Qaida website has listed the names of churches that it says may be attacked.

Egypt’s Religious Affairs Minister Mahmoud Zaqzoug urged all Egyptians to unite, saying “Some of us pray in a church and some of us in a mosque, but that is a personal matter and should not affect the fraternal relations between Copts and Muslims.”

My comment;

Like their cousins in Jordan, the political and religious leaders of Egypt simply don’t get it. They are trying to get people to forget about their religious differences and concentrate on their common nationality. They are begging people to ignore the “extremists” who preach violence while ignoring the fact that the “extremists” are simply doing precisely what the Koran says to do.

The “Christian” leaders who put their faith in a secular state to protect them instead of the God of the Bible will all meet the same violent end, it’s just a matter of when and where.

Arab Christians praised by Muslim Prince in Jordan

Prince Hassan of Jordan delivered a lecture on Sunday at the Orthodox Club to an audience of Christian and Muslim leaders entitled “Christianity and Oriental Arab Identity.”

During the lecture he declared that although a minority in terms of numbers, Arab Christians have made huge contributions to Arab culture.

Prince Hassan noted that Arab Christians are credited for preserving the Arabic language and identity, as Christianity was an important religion in the Arab world since the time before Islam. “The challenge facing Arabs, Christians and Muslims alike, is finding a workable medium in joint and separate interactions with the secular world,” he said. “The challenge lies in finding common moral and ethical grounds in humankind’s “natural law” of right and wrong. One wonders whether separating religion and state leads to a faithless state.”

Noting that no religion calls for or justifies murder, he stressed that religion emanates from a belief in salvation and mercy, not hatred and violence.

“There is no way to resolve all intellectual, political, religious and social issues but through dialogue,” he said.

My comment; Despite his royal title, Prince Hassan is just a typical politician and he’s doing his job, trying to keep a balance among Jordan’s many ethnic groups and keeping Jordan from the massive civil strife that have plagued other multicultural societies in the region like Lebanon and Iraq.

What he doesn’t realize is that by working for “interfaith dialogue” to “keep the peace” he is playing right into the hands of the One World Religion which says that there is no meaningful distinction between religions which “all worship the same god.”

The Christian leaders who attended this lecture, like their counterparts in other Muslim dominated countries, are lying to themselves and their own congregations when they say that they will find safety in forging a common destiny with Muslim’s and pagans instead of staying true to their own Scriptures which include Jesus’ unequivocal statement from John 14: 16;

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”

Turkish IHH organization continues to preach Islamic anti-Semitism

The Turkish organization IHH, which played a central role in the Mavi Marmara flotilla incident in May, continues to lead its campaign to incite hatred against Israel both in Turkey and abroad.

IHH spokespeople have been using their heroic myth of the Mavi Marmara in the campaign and advocating for every Palestinian demand, including that of the return of Palestinians to “Jaffa, Tel Aviv and Haifa.”

IHH leader Blent Yildirim recently accused Israel again of having perpetrated a massacre on the Marmara’s passengers and claimed that the aim behind the interception of the ship was to take over oil and gas resources in the Mediterranean Sea. He also cheered on the assistance the IHH provides to the Islamic terror militia Hamas which rules the Gaza Strip.

In the final week of 2010, the IHH held a reception for the Mavi Marmara at the port of Istanbul, which thousands of people including the families of the nine Turkish activists shot dead on the ship. No senior member of the Turkish Government attended the ceremony. The attendees chanted “death to Israel.” In addition, an inauguration ceremony was held marking the construction of a residential building sponsored by IHH in the town of Jabalia, during which an IHH representative expressed his hope for the return of Palestinians to Jaffa, Tel Aviv and Haifa.

My comment;  For Turkey to turn against Israel after being such a close ally for many years should not be a surprise to anyone.

The Bible speaks about the future of Turkey in Ezekial 38: 3-6 “Thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal. I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them splendidly attired, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them wielding swords; Persia, Ethiopia and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer with all its troops; Beth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops–many peoples with you.”

Tubal and Gomer were sons of Japheth, Noah’s third son. They settled in Asia Minor, the land that would become Turkey thousands of years later. Many of the people living there today are probably not direct descendents of Noah’s grandsons, but the name of the geographical location as it was known in ancient times is still relevant.

For Turkey to take part in this great End Times Gog-Magog alliance against Israel it MUST come under the control of radical Islamists. While this will not be pleasant for Israel, much less the Bible Believing Christians in Turkey, it is inevitable. The only reaction we need to have is to pray for the Believers in Turkey that they will have wisdom and courage to stay faithful and to continue spreading the Gospel in this dark but very important country.

False Churches and Islam together in war on state of Israel

The World Council of Churches is at war with Israel and God of the Bible.

WCC head Olav Fykse Tveit and the Pope will enter a perfect union in the war on God of the Bible. Israel must submit to Islamic demands to get "peace".

The document that exposes the WCC, is called:

“Palestine-Israel Ecumenical Forum. Proposed Strategic Plan of Actions 2009-2010″.

This Ecumenical Forum has WCC as one of its main sponsors and supporters, This strategy document includes the war plan, on how the state of Israel can be changed from having a Jewish majority, to became a Muslim state.

To be able to delegitimize Israel, the WCC needs to change the attitude of evangelical Christians. They are the strongest defenders of Israel, outside of Jewish Zionism.

The various forms of Catholic Churches have been anti-Jewish from the day they were formed. The World seems to have forgotten that the Nazis did read from a booklet made by Martin Luther during the Nurenberg trial, to defend the Holocaust.

The Palestine-Israel Ecumenical Forum uses a “Christ” to attack Israel. This “Christ” includes the Muslims as “children of God”. That is inline with the teaching of the Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church.

Lets take a look at the content of the strategic document:

“Since there is no partiality in Christ, all social, political, economic, military and other walls that divideor separate Palestinians and Israelis, Christians, Jews and Muslims, must be dismantled”.

To claim that there is no “partiality in Christ” is a big lie. Jesus the Messiah clearly stated that a person must be born from above to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. if you are not born again by Father, Son and Spirit you can not partake in “Christ”. Since the Muslims do not accept that “allah” do have a divine Son, equal to Him self, it is blunt blasphemy to include other than those who believe in Jesus of the Bible as “partakers”.

What the WCC present to the World is a false religion, with a copy of “Christ” in its center.

“For the last forty years the Christian churches have called for an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestine.”

What is “Palestine”? Is the state of Israel not “Palestine”? Is the Jews occupiers of their own land?

The British “Palestine mandate” clearly expose the WCC as blunt liars. And a lie is still a lie, even if it is told a million times. “Palestine” was going to be given to the Jewish people as their homeland. All territories West of the river Jordan was considered Jewish properties.. The land beyond the river Jordan, East of Jordan, was going to be given to the Arabs and named “Transjordan”.

Premises for Action

2. That Palestinians have the right of self-determination and the right of return.

The suggested “right to return” is nothing less than a modern day version of the Nazi “final solution”. To flood Israel with Muslims, will change the demographics of the state of Israel. The only nation on Earth with a Jewish majority will vanish.

6. That the Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories are illegal, and constitute an obstacle to peace.

This is the rhetoric of the Hamas, and the Islamic Kingdom of Iran. The problem and obstacle to “peace” is  “Zionism”, the belief that Jews has a right to live on the Mountains in Zion, including the districts of Judea and Samaria.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

1.2 End public support in Israel and internationally for the occupation and for violations of human
rights and international law in Israel and Palestine.

1.3 End economic support to the occupation.

Like the Nurenberg Laws in Nazi Germany in 1935, the WCC wants to make it a criminal offense to do business with true Jews. Because true Jews believe they have a Biblical right to live on the Mountains of Zion, and will refuse to be deported from their homes.

Actions challenging theological support

Engage in reviewing theological education and curriculum of theological institutions which form leadership for ministry in order to challenge Christian Zionist and millennialism theologies or other theologies which support the occupation. One possibility would be to engage in a ‘theological survey.’

This is basically a war on the Word of God found in the Bible. Because Christian Zionism correctly proclaim that the eternal promises God of the Bible, Father, Son and Spirit gave to the Jewish people are “Eternal”, alive and valid. Regardless of public opinions.

A ‘theological survey.’ sounds like mapping the opponents. The next step will probably be to get us criminalized for opposing the United Nations, Islam and WCC. If we are not willing to submit to the “World opinion”, Christian Zionists must be silenced or arrested.

Sources confirm Haaretz report that Clinton, Obama feel Defense Minister exaggerated his role in peace process, despite statement by State Department spokesman denying the allegations.

U.S. administration officials contacted Haaretz on Sunday to confirm the United States’ disappointment with Barak over the stalled peace process, despite a public statement by State Department spokesman Philip J. Crowley, who denied the allegations.

Crowley issued a statement Sunday denying the U.S. administration’s fury with Barak, as was reported in Haaretz earlier Sunday, in which he said that the administration would continue working with Barak.

“We have tremendous respect for Minister Barak and he remains a main channel of communication between the U.S. and Israel,” Crowley said. “We will continue working with him on a full range of issues of mutual interest for both countries.”

But several other administration officials have contacted Haaretz to confirm the administration’s disappointment with Barak.

Crowley briefed several Israeli journalists on Sunday, partly in response to a request by Barak’s office, which was giving reporters Crowley’s phone number.

Three ministers from the Labor Party called on Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Sunday to tell Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the Labor Party, which Barak heads, will quit the government unless the peace process moves forward.

My comment:

It is a very badly hidden secret of the Obama Administration, that they want to see the Netanyahu government toppled.

The US has a record of using the CIA to “put in place” friendly administrations. This is the typical style of the banana republicans that rules in Washington. The rule of people, defined as “democratic rule”, is not honored in the US, if those who are considered their subjects, do not agree with Uncle Sam.

Since Ehud Barack seems to harbor a special love for Hillary Clinton, the US Secretary of state will be more happy with Him in the Prime Ministers office.

Obama is not a Zionist, and are not pleased with a true Zionist as Prime Minister of Israel. But since God of the Bible is a Zionist, He will not be pleased with men like Barak in the drivers seat. That is why the brilliant past general should not have entered politics. Because all his suggestions, seems to lead Israel down the wrong path.

Since the people of Israel have stubborn hearts, and desire a Post-Zionism culture in Tel Aviv, God of the Bible might soon hand them over to leaders that longs to please Obama’s heart.

That would bring disaster on the Jewish state, in form of a “false peace”. But behold. God the Son, Jesus of Nazareth, will eventually return and bring the Virgin of Zion out of all her self inflicted problems linked to rebellion against the Word of God.

Asian 1 managed to reach “genocidal” Gaza

The aid convoy from India managed to reach Gaza. But Egypt did not allow Iranians into this hub for Islamic terrorism.

Most of the "aid Workers" onboard Asia 1 abanndoned the ship, and took a buss from the airport in Egypt into Gaza.

The “Asia to Gaza Solidarity Caravan” that began in India and passed through Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt arrived in the Gaza Strip Monday, according to PressTV.

Over 100 activists gathered at the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the Strip. Eight activists arrived onboard one of the convoy’s ships, the remainder flew to Egypt from various countries, PressTV reported.

According to the report by Iranian television, Egypt refused to allow the Iranian delegation from entering Egypt with the rest of the convoy.

Last month, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called Israel an “insult to humanity” in a speech to the participants of the convoy during its stop in Iran.

In the speech, Ahmadinejad said that Israeli leaders are being awarded Nobel Peace Prizes while the “real genocide” is going on in the Palestinian territories, according to the report.

That “Asia 1″ managed to reach Gaza, must have been a massive shock for Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.  And the “aid workers” arrived without one single martyr being killed in combat with the “Zionist regime”. The “aid workers” bold statements of “breaking the Israel naval blockade” fizzled out like a wet new year’s rocket.

The arrival of “Asia 1″ in Gaza shows how empty and deceptive the rhetoric from Tehran and Damascus is.

The Israeli “naval blockade” of Gaza is not different from the custom control that all nations are entitled to have at its borders. The navy ships of your own nation, will surely be used to stop any ship that openly flags it will try to bypass the custom zones.

Hamas will not, and should not, be allowed to ship rockets into Gaza, that will be used to kill innocent Jews and Arabs inside Israel. All shipments to Gaza, must by scanned for obvious security reasons.

“Asia 1″ chose not to seek custom clearance in the Israeli port of Ashdod, which clears tens of thousands of tons of aid for Gaza every week. The Indian promoted convoy set sail for a port in Egypt.

“Asia 1″ knew that Egypt also have a custom border with Gaza. But unlike Israel, Egypt hardly allow any shipments into Gaza. Cairo simply do not want Islamic terrorism to flourish, and set the whole Middle East on fire.
