Fidel Castro looked towards Israel, and is one of the few World leaders who have rebuked Mahmuod Ahmadinejad for Jew-hate.

Castro’s surprising support for Israel, leading to praise from Netanyahu and a friendly letter from President Shimon Peres.

But Republican Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, a senior Republican House member from a south Florida district with many anti-Castro Cuban exiles and Havana-born herself, demanded that Netanyahu retract his statements.

On his visit to the US two weeks ago, the prime minister called the lawmaker by phone and apologized.

Benjamin Netanyahu has lately acted like a banana republican.

She is an incoming chairwoman of the influential House Foreign Affairs Committee and an unflinching supporter of Israel.

Ros-Lehtinen is viewed in Jerusalem as a key figure for off-setting the rough treatment the Obama administration has been dealing out to Netanyahu’s government on its settlements policy.

It looks like Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is caught somewhere between the devil and the deep blue sea.

When someone, who does not like the US, praises Israel, should the Israel Government restrain it self from hailing the positive remark?

This kind of dhimme Jewish attitude can not be accepted in regards to Islam. Neither is it a singe day better if is a US law maker that can force the Israeli leadership to crawl along the floor.

Ehud Barak offered Mahmoud Abbas military assistance  to take back Gaza. The US and Saudi sponsored Islamic terrorist said “no thank you”.

‪‪Unfortunately for Ehud Barack, he is again exposed of being playing dirty games to please the USA. He seems to be less interested in the people of Gaza being liberated from Islamic oppression. Neither will he protect Jewish land in Judea, Samaria and East Jerusalem from being gifted to Islam. ‬‬

Barak lead Israel into a war in Gaza he did not plan to win. Israel could not remove Hamas, simply because other Islamic forces do take pleasure in this “high Hamas pressure” on Israel.

Can there be any better proof that they all work for the same goal of destroying Israel, but have different roles to play?

Wikileaks: Turkey aided Al-Qaida in Iraq

NATO-member Turkey has aided al-Qaida in Iraq, fighting two other NATO-members.

This is according to a report in the London-based daily Al-Hayat on Thursday. The newspaper quoted the website Wikileaks, which earlier this year posted thousands of classified documents on the Web relating to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Wikileaks claims that Turkey has aided al-Qaida in Iraq by ignoring Turkish based Islamic militants who snuck across the border with weapons and supplies for the terrorist group.

The new stash of documents also contain information about US Military support for the PKK, a terrorist group which has been very helpful to the US in northern Iraq but which has been fighting a separatist war against Turkey for 30 years.

“These revelations are harmful to the United States and our interests,” State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley said. “They are going to create tension in relationships between our diplomats and our friends around the world.”

The World of hypocrisy and double standards seems to have no limits.

That Turkey and the US are friends in NATO, but are secretly funding each others enemies, can only find its equivalence in old Greek tragedies.

Italian FM becomes defender of Iranian nuclear program

Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini has warned Israel against any military attack on Iran, saying it would lead to a full-blown catastrophe for the whole world.

Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini do not want anyone stopping Iran from getting a nuclear bomb. He warns about dire consequences.

Frattini was last week in Israel on a four-day tour and visited the disputed territories, claimed by Islam. IRNA reported on Thursday, that Frattini sought to caution the Israeli government about the dire repercussions of any military attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

“Any Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear installations will have catastrophic consequences not only for Israel, but for the whole world as well,” said Frattini in an interview with Israel’s Channel 10 TV.

These words fell following his meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Defense Minister Ehud Barack.

Early in November, Netanyahu urged the US administration to intimidate Iran with a military action on the off chance that the Islamic Republic would submit to halting its civilian nuclear work under such pressure. The US, however, flatly rejected the suggestion.

The remarks come against the backdrop of the US and Israeli-led allegations that Iran may be pursuing a military diversion in its civilian nuclear program.

Tehran has fiercely denied such charges as entirely baseless and argues that as a long-term member of the International Atomic Energy Agency and a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, it has every right to utilize peaceful nuclear technology.

The Israeli regime, however, is widely believed to be the sole possessor of a nuclear arsenal in the Middle East with over 200 undeclared nuclear warheads.

The Italian foreign minister further called on the Israelis to steer clear of any possible military action against Iran, noting, “I will tell you that going to war [against Iran] would be catastrophic as the first target in this war would be Israel itself, and the entire world will be jeopardized as a result of such action”

The Italian Foreign Minister is telling us utter non sense.

How can an Israeli commando raid that knocks out the Iranian nuclear program become a “disaster for the Whole World”?

Italy had earlier signed secret “peace deal” with Radical Islam. The Italian government gave Islamic terrorists training facilities on Italian soil, in exchange for a “no attack on Italy promise”.

A teenage girl was arrested Wednesday in the UK on suspicion of inciting religious hatred after she allegedly burned a copy of the Koran. The 15 year old girl filmed the act, and posted the footage on Facebook, reported the Guardian citing police sources.

The 15-year-old was questioned and bailed by investigators last Friday after the incident, which took place at a school in the West Midlands.

Police also arrested a 14-year-old boy on suspicion of making threats on Facebook in connection with the alleged incident. He was released on bail, according to spokeswoman for West Midlands police.

“The local neighborhood team have strong links with the school and have been working closely with key partners from the community and the local authority to resolve the matter locally,” the Guardian quoted the police spokeswoman as saying:

“West Midlands police will investigate and monitor any crime reported by individuals who may have been targeted because of their disability, gender, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation or transgender“

The refusal of the American Jews to make aliya is a taboo that needs to be broken in the Jewish community.

It is simply an act of disbelief to sit “safe” in the US, and see the Jewish state of Israel being demolished demographically.

The Jews in America has been inside their “comfort zone” to long. Like in Europe in the 1930-ties, they feel strong and safe.

Multiple fishermen have not been able to explain to them the Biblical demand for a Jewish home coming to Zion. There will soon come hunters. Because the Jews will return home, either voluntarily, by domestic pressure or by force.

The latest “offer” to jump start “peace talks” seems to have failed. The PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has raised new demands of pre-conditions for talks, that Israel can not accept.

Like a demand for “freezing” all construction activity in the capital of the state of Israel, the city of Jerusalem.  Abbas also wants Israel commit her self to a fixed date when the Jewish state will surrender to his demands to borders of the proposed new Islamic state around Jerusalem.

The PA Chairman puppet in Ramallah is the only looser that acts like He is the winner, and demand that Israel should come begging at his feet.

1. It was Israel who won the war.
2. It is Israel who are in charge of Jerusalem.

Lets take a look at Mahmoud Abbas and his al-Fatah movement. (PLO)

1. The PLO was founded on Jew-hate in 1964.
2. The PLO has used violence and terrorism as a political tool.
3.The PLO started to blow up air crafts and airports, and disrupted global air traffic.
4. The PLO is the reason for why every traveler by flights
have to go through body screening at every airport.
5. The PLO has no state.
6. The PLO has no popular support.
7. The PLO will go bankrupt tomorrow, if the US and EU withdraw its financial support.
8. The PLO has a TV-channel that delete the Jewish heritage to the land of Israel, and claim that all of “Palestine” belong to Islam.
9. The PLO refuse to recognize a Jewish statehood in the Middle East.

I can go on adding basic facts.

Mahmoud Abbas and the PLO has a friend in Barack Hussein Obama who also ignore all these facts.

Now, Israel should demand that the PLO and Obama change their ways, before there is anything more to be talked about.

A Status Quo is not the worst that can happen to Israel. It will keep Israel as the winner, and the PLO as the looser.

The “Salad bar theology” inside our Churches

“Salad bar Christianity” is when a person takes those parts of the Bible they like and ignore the parts they don’t.

"Jesus" is for many false Christians, a man they can pick and chose from.

Last week, I opened the topic of a phrase repeated often in the Book of Judges, to wit;

“In those days there was no King in Israel and everyone did what was right in his own eyes”.

In my humble opinion, this little phrase describes very well what is wrong with the Body of Christ in 2010, that there is no recognition of the Authority of Scripture and the Kingship of Jesus Christ. Everyone is doing things “his own way” and doing so in the name of Christianity.

After the first email, several people responded with what they thought my next essay should be about, and I plan on addressing several of the issues that came up. But in this essay, I will be addressing what is closest to my heart and that is the false teaching known as “Replacement Theology” which teaches that “the Church” has replaced “the Jews” as the People of God and therefore all the promises in the Bible made “to Israel” actually now apply only to “the Church.”

Replacement Theology has its origins in the Catholic Church, but forms of it have been eagerly adopted by the Eastern Orthodox Churches, the Protestant Church, and even Islam.

A funny thing about Replacement Theology is that the people among whom it is least popular are those who actually spend time reading the Scriptures themselves and don’t rely on their clergy to interpret it for them.

A side issue that will be addressed in a future email is the problem of what can be broadly described as “topical preaching” that is, when clergy preach on a topic (e.g. social justice) and use scriptural references taken totally out of context to prove their point, instead of taking the totality of a subject as it is treated in Scripture and preaching on the topic that scripture addresses.

This is the ultimate expression of what I often describe as “salad bar Christianity” which is when a person takes those parts of the Bible they like and ignore the parts they don’t.

Romans 9-11 is often cited as the most obvious rebuttal for Replacement Theology, and with good reason. In these three chapters, the Apostle Paul hopelessly debunks the idea hundreds of years before it ever came along.

However, if one wants to find a way to PROVE Replacement Theology instead of rebutting it, one can use Romans 9: 1-8 to do so, even though starting in Romans 9:9 it is hopelessly obvious what Paul is saying and that it does not have anything to do with “the Church” replacing “the Jews” in God’s Plan of Salvation and Redemption for the Human Race.

In Romans 10: 12-13 Paul says “there is no distinction” between Jew and Greek, agreeing with what he wrote in Galatians 3:28 and Colossians 3:11.

Once again, many will take these verses to mean that the modern nation state of Israel and the Jewish People are no longer special to God, that He indeed makes no distinction and therefore ‘Christians’ should not be more sympathetic to the nation state of Israel and the Jewish People. According to this line of thinking, wherever you see the word “Israel” in the Bible, Old or New Testament, you should cross it out and replace it with ‘The Church”

There are three problems with this, and they are, in descending order or importance/relevance.

In Romans 11 Paul totally demolishes the idea that the physical descendants of the nation of Israel have been replaced by the Spiritual “Israel of God” in God’s Plan. The Jews continue to have a role to play, and God continues to bless and love them even in their disobedience and unrighteousness.

Living in Jerusalem of 2010, I can tell you without ambiguity that there is DEEP unrighteousness in this country. Jew, Arab, Christian, and all other demographics in this city are guilty of terrible sins against God, each other and themselves.

But God has still not rejected the Jews, though many if not most of them have rejected not only His Son but even a semblance of belief in God the Father. God keeps His side of agreements, even when His Children do not. That is His nature, and because He is totally Holy, He cannot do otherwise.

The second problem is, since we Human Beings did not write the Bible, we do not have the authority to change anything in it, even if we have the title of “Pope” in front of our names. It doesn’t work that way. If you didn’t create the Universe, you don’t have the Authority to change it. If you didn’t write the Bible, you don’t have the Authority to revise it, even if it’s very convenient for you to do so.

The third reason, as obvious as it is prosaic, is which “church” replaced the Jews?

Was it the Catholic Church? The Lutheran Church? The Greek Orthodox Church? The Coptic Church? The First Baptist Church of Lubbock, Texas?

All of these Churches have at least one thing in common. They are all artificial constructs of ordinary people. They are not mentioned in Scripture, although each will claim that their specific dogma is alluded to there.

“The Jews” however, ARE mentioned in Scripture, MANY TIMES, up to and including the Book of Revelation, which describes God’s plan for wrapping all this up.

To sum up, the only people who believe in Replacement Theology (and there’s actually an awful lot of people who do) are people who are either too lazy to read the Bible for themselves and therefore suffer from self imposed ignorance or wicked people who maybe know the Biblical truth but have made a choice, for one reason or another, to ignore it.

And because they have also made the decision to place their own authority over that of the Scriptures and King Jesus, there is nothing to stop them from ignoring whatever they don’t like about the Bible and/or whatever is inconvenient for them.

There is MUCH MORE to say about Replacement Theology, but this is enough for now.
