First female Arab combat soldier proud to serve Israel

July 27, 2010

Elinor Joseph is the first female Arab combat soldier in the IDF:“This will always be my home”

Elinor Josef is the first Arab female to serve in a combat unit in the Israeli Army.

“Look at the beret,” says Elinor, smiling from ear to ear, showing off the bright green beret that she earned after completing the trek which is part of her combat training in the Karakal Battalion.  Her excitement is accompanied by a new historical precedent, since Elinor is the first Arab female combat soldier in IDF history.

Cpl. Elinor Joseph was born and raised in an integrated neighborhood of Jews and Arabs in Haifa, but attended a school in which all her classmates were Arab. She later moved to Wadi Nisnas, an Arab neighborhood where she currently lives.

Despite the fact that she would always wear her father’s IDF dog-tag around her neck from when he served in the Paratrooper’s Unit, she never thought she would enlist. “I wanted to go abroad to study medicine and never come back,” she said.

To her father it was clear that she would enlist in the IDF, as most citizens in Israel do. This was something that worried her very much. “I was scared to lose my friends because they objected to it. They told me they wouldn’t speak to me. I was left alone.”

My comment:

Israel is often accused of being a racist state.

This young Arabian female is another proof, that the Jewish state treat their Arab minority with fairness and respect.

Welcome to service for human rights and freedom, Ms. Elinor Joseph. May God of Israel and His Messiah Jesus protect you and save you. Amen.

New Lutheran World head: The Israeli “occupation” is sin against God

July 27, 2010

Arab Palestinian Lutheran Bishop Munib Younan is convinced that the state of Israel is our times Apartheid state, that needs to be dissolved.

Bishop Munib Yonuan do not believe God stands with his promises to the Jewish people.

This weekend, Bishop Munib Younan was elected the President of Lutheran World Foundation.

The World Council of Churches has recorded Bishop Younan to be one of the signatories of this declaration against the conduct of the state of Israel. The so-called Kairos document“.

“Declaring the occupation of Palestinian land as a sin against God and humanity, they steadfastly adhere to the signs of hope such as “local centres of theology” and “numerous meetings for inter-religious dialogue”, recognizing that these signs provide hope to the resistance of the occupation. Through the logic of peaceful resistance, resistance is as much a right as it is a duty as it has the potential to hasten the time of reconciliation”.

This is additional information from an article published in Tripoli Times, on 28th of November 2009:

The Jerusalem Lutheran Bishop Munib Younan has appealed to leaders of churches in Europe to stand by Christians in the Middle East in their struggle for justice and peace by remembering how injustice was fought in South Africa.

Bishop Younan and Lutheran priest Olav Fykse Tveit, now head of World Council of Churches.

“I ask you as our brothers and sisters in Christ, do not leave us alone, do not leave us alone in the struggle,” Younan told the once-every-six years assembly of the Conference of European Churches (CEC).

“Do you know how the apartheid system collapsed? It is because the churches in the world accompanied the churches in South Africa,” said Younan, who heads the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land.

“As long as you accompany us as churches in Europe, there is hope that peace and justice will come to the Middle East,” Younan stressed.

My comment:

There is a saying:

Show me your friends in your photo album, and I will tell you who you are.

Bishop Younan together with the Roman Catholic Patriarch Michel Sabbah

Mingling with the Vatican appointed Patriarch of Jerusalem, is not a good testimony.

Not at all, if you side with the Papist in regards to his attacks on the state of Israel.

And what about the new perfect unity that is expected to be reached between “Christians” and Muslims?

From take a look at an article in the British magazine Ekklesia:

In a 40-page pastoral letter issued before his scheduled retirement in mid-2008, Jerusalem’s senior Roman Catholic leader, Latin Patriarch Michel Sabbah, noted the good relationships that exist between Christians and the Muslim civil and religious authorities.

“But it should also be said that relations between Muslims and Christians have not yet reached their perfect equilibrium. This is a matter of a long and slow path that must be perfected every day,” Sabbah wrote in his 1 March letter.

The Bishop might have a secret message for us. Do you now the true meaning of this strange word?

From Wikipedia: Equilibrium is the condition of a system in which competing influences are balanced.

Bishop Younan is also quoted with some interesting viewpoints by the same magazine.

Bishop Younan (extreme left) dine with Imam Azzam al-Aker, head of the Nablus region Islamic Sharia'a Court; Patriarch Michel Sabbah; and Mahmoud al-Aloul, governor of Nablus.

Israel’s Declaration of Independence establishes the country as a Jewish State, and the draft Palestinian Constitution declares Islam as the official religion of the Palestinian state.

Bishop Younan said Christian leaders will continue to insist that the Palestinian constitution should stipulate equal rights for Christians.

For the moment, however, discussion on the constitution has stopped because of other pressing political issues, he explained.

“If you want to give a religion to a state, it must answer what will happen to the others. Will they have equal rights and responsibilities?” said the bishop.

“For this reason I want a Palestinian state to be a modern secular state that respects the three monotheistic religions [Judaism, Christianity and Islam].”

(end of article)

That sounds great. A modern secular Palestinian state which respects Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

Where in the Arab World can Bishop Younan see a model for such a state?

Could it be that the state of Israel already safeguard this kind of religious pluralism today, that would be lost with an Arab takeover of this land?

Lets take a fresh look at at a map which displays the so called Jewish occupation of Arab land.

It must be really frightful in Washington and London, so see how the Jews have grabbed Arab land.

Bishop Younan:  You are a liar and a cheater.

The Lutheran and the Roman Catholic Bishop on a protest walk against Zionism in the Jordan Valley. Ready to work with Islam to get their will come through.

The Lutheran Bishop and the Roman Catholic Bishop has already entered into a perfect union.

They are ready for the war on Zionism, to evict the sinful Jewish settlers who they claim live in in Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Vally in rebellion against the God of the Bible.

The men of sin and lawlessness is captured in this image. Dear readers. Shake your dust of your sandals, and leave their congregations.

Oliver Stone defend Hitler, attack Jewish control over media

July 27, 2010

Oliver Stone feels Hitler had his reasons.

Director Oliver Stone makes anti-Semitic comments, supports Iran.

Israeli Public Diplomacy Minister Yuli Edelstein slammed director Oliver Stone on Monday for his anti-Semitic comments in an interview with The Sunday Times.

Stone told the paper that Hitler’s actions need to be put “in context,” and that the world focuses on the Holocaust because of “Jewish domination of the media.”

“There’s a major lobby in the United States. They are hard workers. They stay on top of every comment, the most powerful lobby in Washington. Israel has [messed] up United States foreign policy for years,” Stone said.

In reaction, Edelstein said: “I condemn Stone’s words. They are nauseating, anti-Semitic and racist. Not only is he showing ignorance, he is demonizing [Jews] for no reason, and returning to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.”

“When a man of Stone’s stature speaks in this way, it can bring waves of anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment, and may even damage Jewish communities and individuals,” Edelstein added

Oliver Stone has also met with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, saying “Iran isn’t necessarily the good guy; we don’t know the full story.” He called sanctions against Iran “horrible,” adding “it’s going to be like North Vietnam again.”

Mort Klein: Obama uses absurd analogies on the Jewish people

July 27, 2010

“Obama compared Palestinian suffering to the suffering of the Jews under the Nazis and to the blacks under apartheid. This is atrocious and absurd analogy”.

Mort Klein warns the World about the deception of President Obama in regards to the Jewish people.

This is a statement of Mort Klain, President of ‪‪Zionist Organization of America President‬‬. He goes tough of Obamas Cairo speech in 2009, where the US President  seeking to eradicate the tension between the US and Muslim world.

- Obama spoke about future diplomatic relations. Pointing to the Arab-Israeli conflict as a major source of tension in the region, Klein said, “Obama compared Palestinian suffering to the suffering of the Jews under the Nazis and to the blacks under apartheid. That was an atrocious and absurd analogy, says Klain.

“In the same speech, Obama said he looked forward to the day when Arabs, Christians and Jews would have the freedom to worship in Jerusalem that they haven’t had in 60 years. That’s a total falsehood.”

ZOA was one of the only American Jewish organizations to slam the Cairo speech, claiming it was anti-Israel. “The other organizations praised it because they focused on the one phrase where Obama said that the bond between America and Israel is unbreakable,” Klein said.

My comment:

People who are awake, not intoxicated and in balance with their own senses, should be able to understand Klain’s viewpoints.

The Arab Palestinians have not been tried terminated by the Jewish state. During the Arabs armed Holy war on Israel, a few thousands of them have lost their life.

Six million Jews were slaughtered in the Holocaust. They were not armed, and had not harmed the German population in any way. To the radical opposite they were bank managers, professors and industrial workers who contributed to the prosperity of the German nation.

What about the accusation that Israel is an Apartheid state?

Apartheid rule was a small white minority, controlling the black majority. The black people of South Africa did not have equal right to vote, take education, and own properties as the white minority had. The black majority in South Africa was also banned from employment in certain sectors of society.

Is there any racism in modern day Israel?

Israel is to the radical opposite of Apartheid South Africa, a vibrant democracy. The Arab Israeli minority of two million people, most of them Muslims, are living inside the state of Israel with full Israeli citizenship.

There are limitation to their duties, like not availability of officer level appointment during military service.  The Jewish majority also has first preference also in regards to Immigration.

Why?

To secure that the only nation on Earth with a Jewish majority, remains a nation where the Jews have the right to govern.

But the Arab minority have the same legal rights as Jews, and do elect their own leaders to the Israeli Parliament Knesset.

Obama’s speech in Cairo was all about lies and deception, and a bid to gain popularity among his Muslim brethren.
