Poll: Israelis want their temple back

July 20, 2010

Only 23 percent of Israelis say they do not want a Third Temple.

Jews wants to build a third temple, but do not want to take the Temple Mount by force. They took military control of the mount in 1967, but gave it back to Islam.

Israelis on Monday evening marked the beginning of Tisha B’Av, the national day of mourning over the loss of Israel’s ancient temples.

The First Temple was destroyed 2,500 years ago by the Babylonians, and the Second Temple was demolished 2,000 years ago by the Romans.

To mark the day, the Knesset TV Channel conducted a survey asking Israelis if they desire the building of a Third Temple. A 49 percent plurality said they do. Only 23 percent said they do not want a Third Temple.

However, 48 percent said they don’t think the State of Israel should take active steps to reclaim control of the Temple Mount and build a Third Temple there. Israelis across the board fear the hostile and violent international and Muslim reaction that such a move would certainly evoke.

The Muslim authorities that today control the Temple Mount play off those fears, and Jews are rarely allowed to visit the site. Jews and Christians alike are forbidden to utter prayers or carry Bibles atop the Temple Mount.

Catholic priest in Holland suspended for playing football inside the Church

July 20, 2010

On Sunday 11 July, Pastor Paul Vlaar of Obdam celebrated the Holy Eucharist in the spirit of the Football World Cup.

Bishop Joseph Punt of Haarlem-Amsterdam has suspended the parish priest. Father Vlaar acted as a goalkeeper during Mass, standing in front of a goal as a parishioner kicked a soccer ball down the aisle.

My comment:

Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy.”

“Turkey backs the Palestinian Authority’s demand to include the Old City in a future PA-led Arab state”.

The Vatican flag of Papal supremacy in the Old city of Jerusalem.

Jerusalem activist Aryeh King has informed Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman that a Turkish flag has appeared in the old city of Jerusalem.

Aryeh King

The signs flout Israeli sovereignty in the Old City, he said. King plans to file a complaint with the Jerusalem municipality and to the Israel Nature and Parks Authority.

My comment:

This is well and good. There should be no Turkish flags in the Old city of Jerusalem.

Catholic nuns hailing their Pope in the Vatican in Rome.

But why do the Jewish people ignore the Vatican flag?

The Vatican is an independent statehood inside Italy. Its a foreign entry in Israel. And it do support all kinds of movements that works for the eviction of the Zionist control over Eastern Jerusalem.

If the Jewish people do not recognize who the enemy is, they ran the risk of being royally deceived.
