40.000 NATO soldiers to replace IDF west of Jordan

A huge deployment of NATO troops in a future Palestinian state may prove crucial in countering fears it would become a base for attacks on Israel.

Obama will let Islam surround Jerusalem in form of Turkish NATO soldiers.

In the first new element to arise from the indirect proximity talks that began this week, Israeli and Palestinian negotiators are reportedly prepared to consider the proposal.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas agreed to a deployment in talks with US special envoy George Mitchell yesterday, and the newspaper Israel Hayom reported that advisers to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had not dismissed the idea of foreign troops on the Palestinian side of a new border.

The paper said the proposal was the idea of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who suggested sending 40,000 troops to the Palestinian territories.

The report gained credibility as Israel Hayom is close to Mr Netanyahu, who has a good personal relationship with Mr Sarkozy.

The troops would be intended to guarantee that after an Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank, Islamic militants would be unable to smuggle weapons into a Palestinian state to attack Israel.

After yesterday’s meeting between Mr Abbas and Mr Mitchell, chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat surprised many with an optimistic assessment that agreement could be reached on a Palestinian state in the four months allowed for the proximity talks.

“We are focusing on final-status issues like borders and security,” Mr Erekat said. “We hope that in the next four months we can achieve the two-state solution on the 1967 borders.”

As the Former Prime Minister of United Kingdom, Tony Blair had be a member of the Anglican Church.  Just after He left Downing Street number 10, He converted to the Roman Catholic religion.

Just as the Pope in Rome, Blair works for a One World Religion.

South African official doubts Israeli nuclear arms sale offer

Waldo Stumpf, who led project to dismantle South Africa’s nuclear weapons program, says Israel could not have offered to sell nuclear warheads to his country in 1975.

Professor Waldo Stump is the man who lead the work to dismatle the nuclear bombs in South Africa.

Yesterday professor Waldo Stump at the University of Pretoria said he doubted Israel or South Africa would have contemplated a deal seriously.

«To even consider the possible international transfer of nuclear devices … in the political climate post the 1974 Indian ‘peaceful’ explosion, would have had very serious international complications», he said, referring to India’s first nuclear test blast.

A Guardian headline Monday screamed: «Revealed: How Israel Offered to Sell South Africa Nuclear Weapons».

As defense minister, Shimon Peres would not have had the authority to sell nuclear devices to another country, even if he had wanted to. Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin would have had to decide. I believe that Rabin would have opposed the sale of nuclear weapons, technology, or even components – not just to South Africa, but to anyone. Peres’ reply to the South African feeler was opaque, and Israel, in the end, did the right thing.

Regrets his book about Jesus and money

The founder of the Hillsong Mega Church in Sydney regrets his book «You need more money»

«If you ask me about the three most stupid things I have done in my life, I would most likely put up as number one my book about faith and money».

This is a message from Pastor Brian Houston, published in an interview with the newspaper Sydney Morning Herald.

The Norwegian daily Christian newspaper «DagenMagazinet» has copied the news from the Australian newspaper, and starts with this title-line

«If the founder of Hillsong, Brian Houston, got a chance to start all over again, He would not have written a book with the title: «You need more money».

Housten still proclaims that people need more money to be effective. But the title of the book gave critics of Hillsong Church, lots of free ammunition. Pastor Houston was criticized for promoting the false Prosperity Gospel, and he was labeled as a lover of money within Christianity.

Today, there in rejoicing in Heaven. Millions of Christian youth all over Planet Earth plays Hillsong music every day. I have been one of the elders, who have been worried.

I hope and pray that Pastor Brian Houston will write one more book:

«Dont worry. Jesus will give you all the money you need. Not all the money you want».
