Faith in Jesus and Islam are two poles apart

April 1, 2010

Vice-President Inger Lise Hansen in the Christian Peoples Party of Norway wants to change the party to attract more Muslim voters.

Inger Lise Hansen is a confused Christian, with limited understanding of Islam.

The festival of Easter defines true Christianity, and set visual borders towards all other faiths. The Gospel explains that Jesus has died on the cross in my place, and was raised from the dead for my justification.

Jesus died to pay the price for my sins, and offered Him self as the perfect atonement for my sins. Jesus became the passover Lamb of God. His blood have been shared as the only atoning sacrifice that can save a soul from everlasting fire in Hell.

There is nothing like this message in any other religion. Islam as an example, takes this Biblical truth head on, and rejects that God has a divine Son, God King Messiah.

Every religion has two sides. One is our relation to death and eternity. The other is views on how to best organize our life on Earth, as members of society, cultures and communities. The teaching of Jesus explains that what we do on Earth will have consequences for eternity. Also in regards to this issue, Christianity and Islam are oceans apart.

The Vice President of the Christian Peoples Party in Norway wants to abolish their leaders membership oath of faithfulness to Jesus, to get more Muslims to vote for the party. With this message she has explained her ideology: «There are many things Muslims and Christians agree up on».

This is a deception. There is hardly anything Islam and Biblical Christianity agree up on, besides a ban on gay marriage and promotion of the family as the basic cell for civilized society. But even inside the «family politics» of Islam, there is enough stuff to contradict both Humanism and Christianity. Like view of women, circumcision of girls, forced child marriages, and polygamy.

Islamic sharia laws and political Christianity has also nothing in common. The values that we build our societies on are radical opposites. If the Christian Peoples party of Norway opens up for Islam, the party will change its nature. It will no longer be a Christian alternative.

Frankly, today there is no law that stops Muslims, Hindus and even Atheists from voting for a Christian party. People of all faiths are free to use their ticket to support politicians who wants fundamental Christian values to be safeguarded in our society.

To support Israel is self defense for Europe

The Spanish EU-commissioner for external affairs, Javier Solana, should apply the lessons from Islamic rule in Spain into the EU-policy towards Israel.

The European Union (EU) has put fresh pressure on the Prime Minister elect Binyamin Netanyahu to give up the military and political control of Judea and Samaria, and support the formation of a new Palestinian state.

EU seems to have forgotten that a strong Zionist state in the Middle East, might have been able to stop the two past Islamic invasions of Europe. The EU-leadership must remember that the whole of Spain and Portugal was forced under Islamic laws for more than 400 years, and needed to be liberated. Parts of Southern Spain remained under the control of the Muslims from 711 AD to 1492 AD. As late as 1683 A.D, Islamic soldiers stood at the gates of Wien.

Islam is founded on an objective of achieving control over both Judaism and Christianity. Nothing has changed. If the Islamic World were honest, they would also acknowledge that their fight for a Palestinian nation, still is a part of a broader plan to destroy Israel. If the Islamic World had true motives of forming a new Palestinian state, they would have done so when the so-called West bank was controlled by the Kingdom of Jordan. The Islamic World had their chance to show their goodwill to the Arab Muslim refugees west of the River Jordan from 1948 to 1967. Either by granting them statehood, or by giving them citizenship in other Arab Muslim nations. But there was no such political claims.

Unfortunately, all lovers of peace in the Middle East needs to remind and educate the EU-leaders like Javier Solana, that the PLO was formed in 1964, during the Jordanian control of the West Bank. The PLO-agenda was not to demand a new Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria, but to call for the full destruction of Israel. Hamas bluntly says in public that their goal is to force a new genocide on the Jewish people. The president of the Islamic republic of Iran supports this view. Why do the EU support this political agenda?

If a new Palestinian state is formed in Judea and Samaria, there will be no government in the World, that can guarantee Israel that Radical Islamic terrorist entries like Hamas and Hizbolla will not be able to take control of that new nation. It that was the case, than the World would not have accepted that Hamas took over the control of Gaza in a bloody military operation. The International society would also have summoned the Hamas leadership to the International War Tribunal in Haage, for firing thousand of rockets into Israel as an act of targeting civilians. Israel did enter Gaza in December 2008, with the sole purpose of stopping the Islamic terrorists from firing such rockets. The International law gives the state of Israel the full right to do so,as an act of self-defense.

Every sound human being regrets any loss of life because of this ongoing holy Islamic war against Israel. But there is no other way of securing peace and prosperity for both Arabs and Jews in Judea and Samaria, than to keep these two districts under the control of the IDF and the Government of the democratic state of Israel. To support Israel, is also the best line of defense Europa can have in the Middle East.
