325 more rockets and mortars of «peace» from Gaza fired into Israel

March 25, 2010

Since the end of Operation Cast lead, 325 rockets and mortars have been fired into Israel from Gaza.

Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Aharon Leshno Yaar, exposes that Hamas do not want peace.

Aharon Leshno Yaar, Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, accused the UN Human Rights Council on Monday of denying Israel the right to self-defense against the decade-long barrage of rocket attacks by Gaza terror militias against Israeli citizens residing in the western Negev.

«You have done nothing about it, and you expect that Israel does nothing either», said Yaar.

He noted that even South African jurist Richard Goldstone had stated that “the firing of these rockets are war crimes and may amount to crimes against humanity.”

Yaar spoke during a Council debate on Israel’s actions in the West Bank and Gaza. Since the end of the IDF’s Operation Cast Lead on January 18, 2009, over 325 rockets and mortars have been fired into Israel from Ga za, an average of nearly one per day.

Last week saw a jump in rocket strikes, including one that killed a Thai farm worker. The UNHRC is expected to approve four resolutions later this week that include affirming the Palestinian right to self-determination, creating a new committee to monitor Israeli-Palestinian cooperation with the Goldstone report, and other resolutions that accuse Israel of human rights abuses against Palestinians and condemn Israel for continued settlement construction.

My comment:

If the Arabs Palestinians do not want peace, its useless to have talks about peace.

For the people of Gaza to convince the Jewish people about willingness to live in peace, they have to be able to stop the rocket fire into Israel.

Hamas will only stop the war on the state of Israel when the Jewish people are expelled from the Middle East.
¨
That leaves the International community with only one option. The US and EU have to force Hamas from their seat of power in Gaza.

I guess they would have done so if Al Quaeda had ruled from Gaza?

Attacking Israel for war crimes, and expelling Israeli diplomats from London, will not do the needful.

United Kingdom fuels Hamas, makes Israel the enemy

March 25, 2010

If the US had used fake UK passports to terminate Osama Bin Laden, London would never have reacted by expelling an US diplomat.

David Millbrand fules Islamic terrorism with a diplomatic victory over Israel.

British Foreign Secretary David Miliband told parliament on Tuesday that an Israeli diplomat with Mossad credentials has been expelled from London over the alleged use of forged UK passports in the assassination of Hamas arms trafficker Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai in January.

The diplomat singled out is the Mossad representative at the embassy. He has been asked to leave Britain Monday night. Before the news of the expulsion was released, Israeli Ambassador to the UK Ron Prosser had been summoned by the British Foreign Office.

On Sky News today, right-wing Israeli MK Arieh Eldad first used the «dog» reference when insisting a British diplomat should also be banished in response, «maybe the military attache» He added, «Who gave the British the right to judge us on the war on terror?»

Michael Ben-Ari, a colleague in Eldad’s ultra-nationalist party, added that «unfortunately, the Israeli government and Israeli diplomacy play into [British] hands. We have learned that a dog must be called by its name. This is anti-Semitism disguised as anti-Zionism».

Other Israeli parliamentarians quickly called for reducing the hostile rhetoric. MK Tzahi Hanegbi of Kadima said that «Israel’s abstaining from giving any kind of response at the height of the Dubai crisis was right. Now that the height of the crisis is behind us, it is certainly all the more logical to refrain from making matters worse».

My comment:

United Kingdom has started a diplomatic war on Israel, and opened up for a political recognition of Hamas.

Had London done the same if the assassinated terrorist in Dubai, was one of the leaders of Al Quaeda?

Pastor: Prosperity gospel hindering church revival

March 25, 2010

Revival is not about church growth. Rather it is about church «pruning and purifying».

Baptist pastor Michael Catt warns against preachers of the Prosperity gospel.

Michael Catt, senior pastor of Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany. He expresses a view that revival is not about a lager crowed, but rather about broken people who want to get right with God.

Depending on the time, place and people, revival can look different. But all revivals share a few common elements: repentance, confession, restoration and brokenness, explains Catt.

The prosperity gospel movement and its teachings, however, present a problem to revival because it confuses people, he noted.

Prosperity gospel, as defined by the Lausanne Theology Working Group, is the teaching that «believers have a right to the blessings of health and wealth and that they can obtain these blessings through positive confessions of faith and the «sowing of seeds» through the faithful payments of tithes and offerings.

The prosperity gospel encourages people to buy things they cannot afford and do not need by justifying that God wants to materially bless believers, and if they just have enough faith then God will provide the means, the magazine criticized.

«Sometimes the prosperity gospel and the feel-good gospel tell people what they want to hear», Catt said. When you lay that by the side of Jesus’ teaching take up the cross – the only reason for the cross in the first century is to die. And to die daily, to crucify your flesh then you have to think how does this fit?

The Baptist pastor said that for him if the sermon does not work in a «mud hut, third-world», country then it’s probably not true.

«I can’t go to a guy that only has a towel around his waist and lives in a dung hut and tell him the good news you’ll get a Mercedes and you’ll go from dung to stucco because it probably won’t happen», Catt said. «But the power of the life changing Gospel can happen».

In his book, Catt maintains that there is little in common between the «success, health, and wealth of the prosperity gospel and the Word of God».

Providing an example, he pointed to the life of Apostle Paul who «didn’t live in a mansion and cross the Mediterranean in a luxury liner».

My comment:

Pastor Catt claims that the «Prosperity gospel» will not work among poor people. Do not be so sure. There are many pore people who have become lovers of money after watching God TV from their slum huts in India.

But may be more amazing, the Prosperity gospel did not work among the Apostles of Jesus. If this religious «mantra» had been the truth, The Apostles should have achieved material wealth. At least they should have lived a long and healthy life on Earth.

If we believe the correctness of the prosperity gospel, the biggest failure of faith was Jesus Him self. Neither our Lord nor the faith of John the Baptist was able to save the latter from being beheaded.

And poor Steven, who was stoned. He must have misunderstood the message That we have a right to have Earthly success in all that we do in the name of «Jesus».
