Israeli General: «Hizbullah can strike Tel Aviv from Beirut»

«Their rockets now have a range of more than 150 miles. This makes Tel Aviv reachable from as far away as Beirut».

These are the words of Brig.-Gen. Aviv Kochavi, the IDF head of operations. He warns the politicians in Israel that the terrorist organization has dispersed its long-range-rocket sites deep into northern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley. Analysts say this move threatens to broaden any future conflict with Israel into a war between the two countries.

More than 10,000 UN troops now patrol traditional Hizbullah territory in southern Lebanon along the Israeli border, but analysts say the UN mission is almost beside the point.

«Hizbullah has been fortifying lots of different areas», said Judith Palmer Harik, a Hizbullah scholar in Beirut. With UN and Lebanese forces «packed along the border», she said, «we are looking at a much more expanded battle in all senses of the word»

Fatah warns against the extreme Islamic movement of Hamas

«Hamas had staged a coup in the Gaza Strip. To legitimize Hamas will harm any chance of achieving peace with Israel».

To talk or not to talk. Not even pretending to talk about the possibility of soon to start talking about peace.

A senior PA official in Ramallah used these words to condemn politicians from the European Union, who works towards the EU legitimizing Hamas. While several Western Powers hardly voices any criticism of Hamas, the Arab Palestinian Authority now brands their Muslim brethren as an «extreme Islamist movement».

The Arab Palestinian Authority did over the weekend expressed concern over Hamas’s growing attempts to gain recognition from the international community. The official warned that meetings between Hamas and Westerners was “playing into the hands” of the movement and undermining efforts to achieve reconciliation between Hamas and Fatah.

«Those who are trying to legitimize Hamas are harming the Palestinian Authority and any chance of achieving peace with Israel», he said.

Hamas officials, meanwhile, said that their group accepts the two-state solution but only as a temporary one. Mahmoud Ramahi, another top Hamas operative in the West Bank, said that his movement was indeed willing to accept an independent Palestinian state within the pre-1967 lines, but only on a temporary basis and without recognizing Israel’s right to exist.

My comment:

Every time the state of Israel is willing to give up land, or compromise on Zionism in a bid to get a peace agreement with the Arab Palestinians, the Muslims starts to fight each other.

The Jewish state has every reason to keep the peace talks at bay. Because it is simply impossible for the Israeli Government to negotiate with a deeply divided enemy, that do not even talk to each other. Neither do they know what they want, nor if there is anybody willing to talk about anything. Like Benjamin Nethayahu said last week.

To talk with the Arab Palestinians, is like talking to someone who sits up in a tree. And every time we try to offer them something to come down and negotiate, they just increase their demands and climb higher.

The Egyptian cleric is preaching the superiority of the Muslim race:

«We have witnessed the racial cleansing in Bosnia and in Kosovo. Despite this, the Muslim race has been cleansed of the filthy blood of polytheism and the polytheists».

The future of the Jews are death and destruction, shall we believe this teacher of Islam.

«The Jews are our enemies. Allah will annihilate them at our hands. This is something we know for certain. We know this for certain – not because I say so, but because Allah said so: ‘You shall find that the people strongest in enmity to the believers are the Jews and the polytheists»

My comment:

Plenty of Western politicians and the Pope in Rome are preaching that Islam is a «great and peaceful religion».

I guess they should spend some time watching TV programs like this, which is frequently broadcasted across the Arab World.

Islam as taught in the Koran has more than 160 Jihad Verses, that calls the faithful to Holy War against the infidels. An infidel is a man who is not willing to submit to the revelation of an Arab called Muhammad, and his god «allah».
