The Knights Hospitaller is also known as the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta, Order of St. John, Knights of Malta, and Chevaliers of Malta.
This Order was a Catholic organization that began as an Amalfitan hospital founded in Jerusalem in approximately 1080 A.D to provide care for poor, sick or injured pilgrims to the Holy Land.

You are taking the verses about Babylon and using them in the wrong time period. Babylon has never been totally uninhabited. The first destruction was dynamic, but not total. The 2nd destruction will be total. This means Babylon must be rebuilt, it will have great power over the kings of the earth, and they will come (led by the anti christ) to destroy it. I don’t think this is a “symbolic” Babylon. I think it will be the actual city – rebuilt – and totally destroyed. Time will tell.

You want conspiracy theory? Try this one for size: The Roman Empire never went away. How could it? If the statue in Daniel 2 represents a head (Babylon) that ruled until the shoulders and arms (Medio-Persia) took control, who ruled until Bronze torso (Greece) tookover and ruled until 63BC when Legs of Iron (Rome) tookover…. Rome scripturally rules until the final empire of “Feet of iron and clay mixed/mingled. I do not not believe we are in the final empire yet… Which I see the “Feet” as a one world system (the clay are all the peoples/humans of the world “mingling” with the iron of the richest, strongest, most powerful and organized institution on Earth, the Catholic church.
So since there was no gap between the statue parts/empires… No prophetic time lapses according to Daniel, Nebuchadnezzar, and God’s Word… Then we HAVE to still be under the Roman Empire, which switched from a visible strong presence that was merged/taken over by the Catholic church and the Pope, who stills rule today invisiblibly through it’s secret societies,’and even visible bastions such as the US military, the Jesuits, and the Pope’s control over the US government and Washington DC.
